Ohana Services

Ohana Services handled all the remodel for a home i purchased in 11/21. I had a fireplace built. The Ohana Services father built it, however he failed to tighten seals at the top of the fireplace. In April of 2022 there was a massive storm. Water came down through the fireplace inside my home. I had to put buckets to catch the water. I have all this on video. Charlie- the owner Ohana Services was not readily available. I had to hire a fireplace company to see the damage and what they could do to fix the issue. I emailed Charlie and the flipper on the poor job that they did on the fireplace. I'm not a pro, but it would seem very obvious that you would have to apply sealant to close off any gaps. Fast Forward to December 2023. I had some water coming up under bathroom sink. I had a plumbing company come and review issue. They discovered that one of the pipes was not secured tightly and not connected at all to other piece of pipe thus having the water from adjacent bathroom spill over to my master bathroom. Additionally, Ohana Services never filled in the hole with cement after they had put in the new pipes and bathtub. They left the hole wide open. I never would of seen this as they just put sheet rock over the wall and then attached the bathroom sink. Sadly, Ohana Services owner does not review the on site persons work, nor does he hire people who are specialized in the different fields which he does work on...i.e. plumbing, electrical etc. The work on the outside if very pretty, but it is the work in between the walls that you should concern yourself with. i have left Ohana Services a message, however i have yet to hear back from them. Do yourself a favor be vigilant of any work that is done on your home from this company. I let the first incident go without leaving a review, but this time the cost was too expensive and shows that Ohana Services cut corners to get job done faster.

When you find someone that you want to keep as a contracting team, they might likely be like this team. We have hired them many times over to address areas in and around our McKinney, Texas circa 1924 home including but not limited to sound back deck, eco friendly siding, cedar fencing, insulation and more. In addition to Charlie’s exceptional demeanor, he has an eye for beyond the basic practicals of the job, he adds to it his strong engineering intellect, a surprising excellence for decor. I would add that he is “allergic to any prior improper installs”. We have become fond of his team and know them by name, including some family members. We would only hire anyone else, if his schedule was full. We have been with them since 2021. We highly recommend his, no, our team.

i’ve had multiple projects completed by ohana services and always left in awe of their work! although having home projects can be disruptive to your everyday routine, ohana makes it to be a smooth process with great communication of timelines, updates, etc. everyone i’ve met is friendly and informative making sure no question is left unanswered, all while making your vision for a project top priority.

I have hired Charlie & Ohana Services multiple times for both large and small projects- he's never disappointed me! He's smart, reliable, knowledgeable, experienced and honest! I highly recommend!

Amazing garage remodeling. It couldn’t have been done better . The man cave is an excellent add on to our house . Charlie and his crew were very professional and worked with me to find the best result for my home.
