Renovate Max Inc.

Working with renovate max inc was the best thing for my family and I to completely renovate our home as smoothly as possible. All the workers were very respectful and understanding whenever I had questions. This means a lot considering the fact that I remodeled the entirety of my home. I had a bathtub reinstalled and tiling in one of the bathrooms. Repainted all the bedrooms and extended the closet in the master bedroom. I had new backsplash done in my kitchen and recess lights in stalled in the kitchen and dining room. The living room, dining room and kitchen had new wooden floor with a beautiful smooth varnish. I also had the sun room and laundry rooms completely redone with new tile, new paint, new windows and new plumbing. All in all a great experience and now I can really call my house a home!

I’ve really enjoyed working with Renovate Max Inc. They’ve answered all of my questions quickly and clearly and are always understanding of my wants and needs. I shopped around for awhile looking for the perfect place to help me with my renovations and Renovate Max ended up being just what I needed. It started out with just some of the tile in my bathroom, but before I knew it I had re-done all of the cabinets as well, and now we’re going to get started on my kitchen soon! I would caution anyone considering Renovate Max and Ali (contractor/owner) There are several issues you will run into if you choose this contractor, but knowing them up front may help you decide or adjust the contract to protect you. They include: 1. Estimating of how long a job will take. (10 weeks) vs reality (22 weeks). Ali under supported the project by peeling off workers to other jobs (even ones booked after my own). 2.Costly under estimation of electrical (including basic code requirements around number of outlets needed in a kitchen) est: $4k, actual $14k. This one made me suspect intent - did the contractor do this to keep the estimate low? I later noticed a line in his contract about how electrical estimates might change. When I did my pre-homework and checked references, this is something that came up with each previous customer. I should have paid more attention. Get the electrician to visit and do the estimate up front, not Ali (owner/contractor). By the way, keep a close eye on the work of the electrical team. Poor communication between Ali and that team caused several headaches throughout the project. 3. Ali has a strong tendency to first blame the homeowner for problems during construction. He can be quite emotional rather than businesslike and send offensive emails and text. This volatility makes for a stressful environment for the homeowner and awkwardness for the embarrassed workers. On the plus side, I would like to complement Ali for his choice of some excellent workers, especially Martin, his Jack of all trades. The floor subcontractor was fast and excellent. This was a change order to refloor half the house, and it only took 3 days! The window subcontractor was fast and good. I am happy with most (not all) results from this large remodel project. I wish I had known some of these things up front, that's why I'm sharing with other homeowners.

Had to renovate half of our home due to AIRBNB guests tearing it apart, luckily AIRBNB was able to reimburse me for the damaged via an insurance claim. Renovate Max was very patient with my wife and me, she's a stickler for any changes done to the house (you should've seen here when the AIRBNB guests tore it apart) and they were very patient with all her pestering and questions. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Renovate Max Inc. I was referred to Renovate by a friend, contacted Ali on a Monday and he was out and started on Wednesday! Very quick to respond to any and all questions I had. When talking with Ali he was able to picture and design alllllll my ideas. After I talked to him I knew he was the one to do my remodel. I first initially want to do my bathroom and end up doing almost everything- constructing kitchen cabinets , install backsplash and new flooring, remodeling my master bathroom and guest bathroom and painting. Ali and his crew also gave great advice and they do have great taste. I finally found my "go-to" contractor!

Ali and his crew are always creative, detail oriented and able to work in a fast pace and these qualities fit best in a designer's team. Ali has a great source of design showroom, which always helps taking the client over and finalizing the finishes for interior remodel projects. Their work is extra ordinary and always completed on time even with unforeseen circumstances. If you are looking for a construction team that can deliver well crafted project for a remodel or home additions, they are a great resource!

I did my kitchen remodel with Renovate Max after a my water heater flooded my home. Ali was easy to work with and provided me with several alternatives to improve the value of my home. His staff was fast an professional and I plan on using them in the future.

Hubby and I used Renovate Max recently for renovating our town house: carpet replaced with laminate flooring, bathroom redone with new tile and vanity, etc. Here are 4 things that stood out: 1) Excellent consultation and advice: Ali has great taste and an eye for design. He was easily able to assess our style preferences to make suggestions on materials. He came prepared with samples and helped us choose combinations that we loved. 2) Available and approachable: though contractors are generally busy people, we were able to reach Ali with questions/concerns. 3) Job completed on budget: no surprises. 4) Ali is generally very congenial and easy to talk to. As with any contractor job, my advice is to be clear on expectations, inspect your job, and communicate. Ali is respectful and receptive, and he really wants to have a happy customer!

It was a pleasure working with Ali. I found Renovate Max online and chatted with Ali over the phone. Not only Ali gave us a reasonable quote, but also he helped us a lot and gave very good advice on different remodeling decisions we had to make. He started the work on the same day he promised and was onetime with his deliverables. The quality of the the work was very high and he was open to multiple changes I suggested over the course of remodeling. One thing that is unique about Ali is his professionalism and attention to details. While the bathroom remodeling was being done, I observed some minor misalignment. When I brought it to his attention, he personally visited the project and took proper actions to fix it. I had a great experience working with Ali and I would strongly recommend him for remodeling.
