We have loved our home for the last 10 years, but it was time to make some much-needed changes. The layout wasn't maximizing the space, and we found ourselves in one of those 'love it or list it' dilemmas. After researching and meeting with a few renovation companies, we chose to go ahead with Sosna. Their process resonated with us, and we felt they were trustworthy, honest, and reliable. All of that continued to be true through the process and we witnessed their strong commitment to the project and timelines. Starting with the design phase, we had weekly connects with the designers (Chantal and Daniel) that were fun and stress-free. They understood our style and we felt engaged and heard through the process. Our project was fairly big, involving a new kitchen, laundry room, master bath, and adding a new bedroom in our open-to-above great room. Roman and Vitali oversaw the construction phase, keeping us informed along the way. The house was kept tidy and very clean for a project of this size. They were very respectful of our property and the neighbourhood. During construction, some minor adjustments were needed to the original plans. However, the team handled these with careful consideration and thoughtful decision-making. They were present on-site daily, often putting in extra hours to stay on track. The quality of their workmanship and attention to detail were impeccable. The results speak for themselves – we couldn't be happier. Sosna's expertise and knowledge shine through in the incredible outcome. Our home feels rejuvenated, reflecting our style and needs, perfectly!

After a thorough search and meetings with several general contractors, we selected Sosna for our recent main floor renovation and we had an extremely positive reno experience, right from the first introductory meeting. Care, commitment and courtesy characterized our interaction with each team member, from office staff to site crew and tradesmen and company owner. Indeed, Sosna is a general contractor you can count on to manage the whole process well and deliver great quality workmanship on time and on budget. Our project consisted in renovating the main floor and creating an open concept by removing a structural wall. We lived in the house and worked from home during the 3 months construction period. The team was very punctual and ensured disturbances were kept to a minimum, keeping us updated on what is going to happen next day and overall status. Everyone coming to the job site showed respect and care for us and for our entire property. The work area was separated with plastic walls from the rest of the house and floor protections were laid out to reduce construction debris and dust; the job site was always thoroughly cleaned at the end of the day. The designer, Olga, really understood who we are and what we want to achieve, putting together the design and documenting every detail. We loved that she gave us her honest opinion on our wants, and that she balanced our budget with the quality of selected materials. Her design made every inch of our kitchen beautiful and most importantly, very functional! Gus (site lead) and Davit (site supervisor) were the best you could ask for: skillful, meticulous, finding creative solutions and finishing the smallest details to perfection. They closely worked with every assigned crew member and trade person to ensure the level of workmanship and attention to detail was kept at the highest level. Gus was happy to share with us better ways to maintain our house and the newly introduced finishes. We became so close and appreciated his experience so much that he was the first to call, one late Friday evening, about a heater pipe burst, not related to the reno. Gus answered our call and kindly walked us though the temporary mending process, then arranged for the additional work to be done by the plumber ASAP. We saw first-hand the care and pride he put in his work, and the patience with us; we will be forever thankful. Roman (project manager) visited the site often and intervened as needed to ensure the few issues that came up during construction were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Even though we were in the final days of detailing when we mentioned we weren't 100% in love with the way the mudroom sink looked, Roman and Gus discussed an alternate solution and moved the sink (less than 1”!) and redid the back wall. It looks perfect! We’ve been enjoying our “new” 80s house for little over 2 months and we love it each day more and more. We highly recommend Sosna to anyone who wants to renovate their home.

Hiring Sosna was the best decision I have made as a homeowner. We did a large renovation of all 3 floors. Removing supporting walls to create an open concept. They designed and created a beautiful kitchen, and installed hardwood floors. The quote was accurate, both for cost and amount of time needed to complete the project. There were major setbacks and obstacles that arose, (as always happens with big projects) but Sosna handled them quickly. There was constant communication throughout the process, to ensure I was informed and happy about the work being done. All the employees are friendly and approachable. They also keep the cleanest work site I have ever seen. It has been 2 years since they completed the reno, and I know I can still call them for help with anything. They are true professionals.

We hired Sosna to renovate our small bathroom in our old home with lots of quirky traits (there was not a single level wall before this renovation!). While we had very clear expectations of how we wanted the space to look and function, Sosna was there every step of the way to guide us and made excellent recommendations. The lead-up to construction was well paced which gave both us and Sosna time to prepare for the renovation. There was constant communication from Sosna’s side and they were able to accommodate our schedules and plan around us when it came to meetings. Sosna shared a document outlining what to expect during construction, which was insanely helpful for any first-time renovators. As for the execution: Roman, Davit, and Vitaliy have done an amazing job with managing our expectations and renovating our compact bathroom. Due to the nature of old homes, there was lots of troubleshooting and unforeseen problems involved, all of which Sosna had the perfect solution for. The team was very respectful of our time and space (including our needy puppy), and were able to accommodate our last minute change requests in scope and schedule. As many others have already mentioned, the construction site was one of the cleanest we have ever seen (and my partner works in architecture!). After construction commenced and we got to try our new amazing bathroom, we noticed a few things we would like to have changed to perfectly tailor the space to our liking. Sosna was quick to respond and took care of any change requests. After this experience we feel confident in tackling our future home renovations knowing that we’ll have Sosna by our side. Contacted Sosna and Andrei the owner promptly reached out and scheduled a time to discuss the work we wanted to complete on the house. No pressure or hard sell. Very open and professional from the start. Sosna wanted to make sure it was a good fit and wanted a good understanding of the scope of work to be completed. -Invited us to the sales office and obtained a better sense of their work, how they managed projects and prior projects. Indicated their focus on project mgmt. and getting the work completed on time even during the pandemic -Met the team that we would be working with to get a sense of the team and was able to ask questions and back and forth to make sure was a good fit -Started working with Olga who helped us flush out the design and turning the pictures in our mind into floor plans. We enjoyed working with Olga. Olga would come up with drawings and incorporate our comments. We really valued Olga’s honesty as Olga would provide her opinion and would let us know if she liked/disliked something. Olga took us around to the various suppliers to pick the fixtures and we were impressed with the relationship she had with her suppliers. -Once the final design was completed with fixtures, we were provided with the final fixed price and proceeded to the next stage of the renovation of the house -Adam was our site supervisor and was at the house every day overseeing the work. Adam was always available to meet and talk with us and we never felt rushed -Adam and his attention to detail and quality and knowledge was impressive. Examples include Some pot lights were installed in a room and the lights were off centre which Adam noted and then promptly removed and reinstalled, placement of master bath floor tiles and how he made sure the tiles were aligned to the door so that the tile seams would not be in the path from the door, silicon pads placed throughout the house to protect walls from cabinet doors -Site was always cleaned up at end of day so it was safe for us to walk around -Had some issues with the City inspections / requirements however Roman the Project manager and Adam always had a solution and were hands on and went to city hall to get things resolved. -After the work was completed, Dante and Adam were very helpful in supporting us in the filing of energy and HST rebates -It’s been about 7 months since the completion of the renovation and any deficiencies (all minor) were quickly addressed without any hassle, pushback which was great

The Sosna team provided excellent service and were very professional from the start to finish of our kitchen renovation. I found the staff were extremely dependable, efficient and always showed up on time. The team kept special attention to the job details and ensured high quality through each stage of the project from the design, demolition, preparation and implementation of the whole kitchen. We found the quality of the kitchen components (cupboards, countertops, additional hardware and more) were top notch. Keeping us informed throughout every stage of the project, with daily updates, provided us with a strong comfort level and feeling that Sosna was on top of the job. We worked with Sosna on our main floor renovation which also included new stairs to our basement. Right from the start, Andrei and his team were professional, diligent and responsive. When the renovation started, they executed the project efficiently and effectively thereby making our experience working with them so seamless - that is truly appreciated. We can, without hesitation, say that the renovation has made a huge positive impact on our daily lives. One of our favourite things is gathering at our new peninsula as a family. We love the fact that it has become our place to sit together for breakfast, lunch, a quick snack or to simply chat about our day. It really was the perfect addition for us! We needed a contractor that would be able to renovate our bathroom so we could age in place and at the same time open up our kitchen. The contractor had to provide us with details of the projects and remain in the given budget. Sosna.ca was our answer. They provided us with detailed drawings of the projects and the designer worked hard to give us what we wanted within our budget. Sosna gave us a schedule of dates for work to be done and they kept to the schedule. So much so that the projects were all completed several days in advance. Our neighbors commented on how polite and considerate the Sosna work crew were. We are very happy with the work that was done. We would use Sosna again and would recommend them to others.

After working with Sosna on a smaller bathroom renovation, we hired them to renovate our townhouse main floor - kitchen, powder room, and living room. I recently completed a 400k renovation with Sosna. It was a lot of work, and the Sosna team did a great job. My initial expectation was 250k, but ended up with 400k, meaning many works have been added during the renovation. As the project was not small, my concern was to find a trustworthy team for my renovation. I’ve done quite some research and Sosna was the one that I chose from all the reviews and their work. After meeting with Andrei, the owner, my wife and I had a feeling that this is the company that we want to work with. All the people I met during the work, Andrei, Leo, Camila, Paul, and many other Sosna members, were all very nice and kind people. One thing for sure is if you work with Sosna, you can count on them regarding your project. They are professional, timely, responsive, and try to work on your side. I heard so many bad experiences about engaging a contractor for a house renovation, but I was happy that I chose Sosna for the work, and didn’t have many headaches due to the contractor being problematic. My wife and I contracted with Sosna for our kitchen and family room renovation. They completed the project successfully and on time, and we had a great experience. Before actual building work, there was extensive work carried out to create a design and document it in detail - this helped to ensure there were no major surprises and everything was done according to plan. The team constantly communicated with us and with each other during construction. Any questions or problems were dealt with by the team meeting and talking through the options and finally proceeding with a solution. We wanted a complete renovation of our first and second floors in a century-old home in downtown Toronto. We have owned our home for over 34 years and have always wanted to update it into an open-concept entertainers’ dream. The years seemed to be passing by so quickly and we decided it was “now or never”. Finding a reliable and trustworthy contractor was our first challenge. We spoke to family, friends and neighbours who had renovated looking for recommendations. We researched many contractors and read hundreds of reviews on Houzz. One contractor stood out from the crowd and we decided to meet with Sosna. From our initial meeting with Andre Sosnovsky, we felt confident moving forward with the renovation work. Sosna is a “one-stop shop” for all aspects of a renovation from initial design to fixtures and fittings. The best thing about Sosna is the people we worked with. We had multiple design meetings with Sosna’s designer, Camila Tan, who was a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable and very patient with us. She was able to help us bring our vision to reality. Timelines were strictly adhered to and even during a global pandemic, our project was completed beautifully and ahead of schedule. We first engaged with Andrei at Sosna in January 2020 to discuss the basement, then asked about the main floor. He listened to our concerns and pushed back on many in order to make us focus and articulate exactly what we really needed and wanted. It was great to have that clarity and redirection. Andrei recommended that we arrange for the basement waterproofing ourselves to save money, and we decided that we would engage Sosna for the main floor. Then Covid hit and put a pause on life. In the fall of 2020 we were ready to re-engage and were connected with Olga, their designer. She worked with us many hours, many meetings, many questions, to guide us to a beautiful design. It was great to have her expertise because I'm not good at coming up with those ideas! Between our schedule needs, Covid lockdowns, and Sosna's availability, we were not able to start the construction phase until March 2, 2021. But boy, they really do not stop! They were here every day before 7, all the trades required were scheduled in exactly, and the work was completed by the end of April (ahead of their original estimate). Sergey, the site manager, greeted me every morning with a smile as I left with our dog, and would often tell me what was planned for the day and answer any questions I had. Because they plan so well in the design stage, there were no hiccups, no pauses and very few decisions to be made. There were just a couple minor unforeseeable issues that arose and we were presented with the problem and possible solutions. These did not delay the project at all as they were able to continue with other areas in the meantime. We are thrilled with our new bright open space and I have been hyping Sosna to anyone who will listen, stopping people I see taking info brochures from the signpost on my lawn. I can't say enough about our experience working with Sosna and the results.

We had been thinking about renovating our two upstairs bathrooms for a couple of years. After interviewing three different contractors and designers, we felt it was just not a right match. Our friends who had recently completed a renovation of their own having learned of our need of a good contractor highly recommended SOSNA Inc. Our renovation is now complete and I can say that we are delighted! Team SOSNA came through. Their professionalism is unlike any I have seen from any contractors we have ever dealt with. Andrei walked us through the renovation from beginning to end ensuring that we were comfortable with the process and budget! An additional benefit to SOSNA is that they have designers on staff. We worked with Olga to put together our dream bathrooms. Olga is not only endowed with talent but is extremely caring about her clients. She guided us through our design and spent time to ensure that we were satisfied with every choice we made. Vitaly was there day to day and again a total pleasure to work with. He made sure that our property was protected during the renovation process, putting up plastic walls and runners to minimize dust and dirt to the rest of the home. Roman was our Project Manager and he was there to ensure that the work was done right. He encouraged us to have weekly calls but also came by to inspect the work himself. Contractors that care, show up each day and come on time! It is a great company with great people!

They are a class act from start to finish. Their designer Olga is extremely talented and a pleasure to deal with. They protect your property from the renovation process as if it is their own putting up plastic walls and runners to limit the impact of the work on other parts of your home. The staff including Andrei Leo Jacob and the others not only know how to do their job great but are great people. Minor corrections are attended by the next business day. The job is done right by a contractor who always shows up and the work product is magazine/ showroom quality. We will miss them like family/friends being in our home during the process.

Part of the protective seal on the new shower door had come away. Not an urgent issue, but I called the owner of the company who did the original renovation over a year before. Got a call right away from his installer, who arranged - in these difficult times (very busy for contractors too) - to do the repair at his earliest convenience. He went out of his way (geographically) to do a 15 minute job. Although the issue came to light outside of the warranty period, the work was gratis. Great people make a great company...and it starts at the top.

Once again, Andrei and his team have fulfilled all my renovation expectations. Four years ago they remodelled my bathroom. This year they replaced my kitchen, hall and powder room floors, as well as the baseboards. The renovation was done in the time estimated and exceeded my expectations. Once again Andrei and his SOSNA crew improved our house and our lives. They have created new rooms for us in the past, this time they repaired some faulty original construction that has caused leaks in our kitchen ceiling over the past 25 years. The obvious cause of a water stained kitchen ceiling would be a leak from outside. We have had our extended kitchen roof repaired three or four times - but every few years the water stains were back. Andrei’s keen eye suspected a different problem. First he had us hire a heat-escaping engineer/photographer who confirmed Andrei’s suspicion. The original builder had not insulated the metal beam that supported the second floor where our kitchen extension roof ends. This allowed the beam to get very cold in bad winters and cause condensation to drip onto our kitchen ceiling. His polite and efficient crew came in one morning, covered the floor from the front door through to our kitchen and draped sheer plastic sheets along the working corridor. At night when the work was done for the day, we would lift and tape up the plastic sheets to make doorways to our kitchen cabinets and family room. The main floor looked a sultan’s tent. Leo, our congenial site foreman, matched the paint to the rest of the kitchen ceiling saving us money and time in not having to paint the whole of the main floor ceiling. I just have to write to say how pleased I am with your services, which you already know :). We have known each other for about seven years now as our first renovation with you was in February 2016. Each and every time I have spoken or emailed about anything to anyone I have dealt with, it has always been the most pleasant of experiences. We used Sosna to renovate our kitchen and main floor. We had been cautious about selecting a contractor given our previous experiences. Sosna was recommended to us and we could not have been happier. Sosna did the most fantastic job possible in spite of the challenges in a 100 year old house. Andrei is always positive and proposes very practical and budget efficient solutions. We were introduced to Sonsa by a close friend, who had just finished his Toronto townhouse renovation. We had just bought a house in Mississauga that had the original floor plan - completely separate living room, dining room, kitchen, and the smallest powder room ever built. Our designer Anna was great to work with, as she has a similar aesthetic as us, and knew how to execute the bold and modern design elements we were looking for. The most impressive and unique part of the renovation was how they reconfigured the front entry to make the power room larger. They switched the front door and the sidelight, and built the sidelight into the bathroom as a window, which almost doubled the square footage of the bathroom. We're really happy with how everything turned out, and can't wait to have them back for future projects!

Our experience all started with noticing a Sosna sign on a neighbors front lawn. We decided to contact Sosna and had our first meeting with Andrei, he was very respectful and wanted to understand our needs. We decided to move forward with the next step and met with our amazing designer Olga, she was extremely helpful with all the design aspects, from moving walls and paint to fixtures and floors. Olga even picked us up and brought us to hands on look touch and feel the materials for our project. When we were comfortable knowing were were in good hands, we had our initial start up meeting and Andrei brought in the entire Sosna team that would be working on our project for introduction and explanations on the project. The team began work and were extremely prompt-full, accommodating and professional every day. We were very impressed with Roman and his team, Henry and Sergei whom we saw daily. They always came up with solutions whenever we ran into any unplanned issue. Their organization and cleanliness was very impressive. They were here for an eight week period and became part pf our family, we will miss Henry's smile every morning. Our project is now finished and our house has been transformed from a picture in our mind to the amazing home we wanted. We were so very impressed with the whole project from beginning to end, Sosna even treated our final walk through as a house warming party with gifts and warm blessings as they presented our new home to us. We are very pleased with our main floor renovation project by Sosna. The project was on time, on budget, and with excellent quality. Our designer, Anna, provided excellent design recommendations that are tailored to our preference, and we couldn't be more happy with the outcome. The crew, Roman and Henry, were diligent, courteous, and professional. We encountered only a few issues, and they were addressed promptly and effectively. Andrei, the owner, provided very clear explanation upfront, and we found he and his team delivered on all fronts. This was our first experience with home renovation and we could not be more happy with the outcome. We would highly recommend Sosna.

We recently purchased a house in Toronto which needed a complete interior renovation (ceilings, lighting, wall knockdowns, painting, flooring, electrical, plumbing, tiling - 100% redo) while having no experience with this subject nor contractors in general. After online researching and doing our due diligence, we went with Sosna whom we would highly recommend (which we already have - our friends are now getting their home renovated with them). Andrei was very professional, respectful and thoroughly explained the entire process in our introductory calls. Our designer Anna was very sharp and straightforward which I greatly appreciated - we provided her with our likes, dislikes, she asked for our opinions when needed, we provided our feedback where needed and was overall fully autonomous. While we did not interact with the crew on a daily basis (we lived in our condo while the house was being renovated) - our weekly visits and experience with the team (Roman, Vitaliy, Gene, Boris) was excellent. Everyone was very polite and professional. One aspect that I really appreciated was how well organized Sosna was as a whole. Our house was logistically complicated to renovate, due to the busy and narrow Toronto residential streets as well as general layout (back in a wooded area, three floors above ground). You also typically hear nightmare stories of contractors taking forever to complete a job, or having two tradesmen come in twice a week for a few hours as they work on multiple projects at once. Sosna functioned like a proper construction company, fully devoted to our project (the team was there each day as necessary, 7am promptly) and would coordinate an entire team of people to guarantee that nothing was delayed. The quality of work was great, and if there were any issues or defects (which is a reality in any renovation, especially of that scale), they would come in and quickly address it. Overall, fantastic renovation experience and would undoubtedly use them again for another project.

We were very happy with our entire dealings with Sosna Inc. This was our third renovation project, but the first with Sosna. From our very first ‘information’ meeting, until the ‘final reveal’, we were very pleased with the whole project. The completion date was actually a few days earlier than estimated. The budgets were followed and there were no surprises. What impressed us most, was the professionalism of the team assigned to our project. They arrived daily when promised, they were respectful and pleasant to have working in our home. They problem solved (when needed) & without our knowledge. My wife and I were very impressed with our whole Sosna experience. From our first contact with the company and our initial meeting with the owner (Andrei) through to the completion of the renovation we could not have been more pleased with the care that was taken and the consideration that was given. We were involved in all decision-making at each stage of the operation and any issues that arose were resolved to our satisfaction. From office staff to tradesmen and crew the approach to the work was both personable and professional. A first class organization that we would highly recommend.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this company is. We decided in the summer of 2018 that we would like to renovate our kitchen and update our flooring in our home. I did a thorough google search and saw reviews for Sosna Inc on Houzz. The reviews were very positive, so I looked at their website. I was impressed with how they would have a detailed plan and would remain at our place until the reno was completed. My husband and I met with Andrei and knew we would be in good hands. The reno was completed on time and I loved working with Olga, one of their designers. She has such great vision and loved her ideas. Roman and Vitaliy kept us up to date with the renos and they explained everything. We moved out of our house for 2 months and we were in constant contact with Roman. We trusted this company so much that we took a 3 week vacation near the end of the reno! We have only been back in our home for a few weeks and we love our new kitchen. Our earlier experience with contractors left us wary and worried about hiring another for a kitchen renovation, however, we need not have feared. Sosna came to us with glowing references that were confirmed in our experience. We found everyone, from the owner, to the designer, to the Project Managers to the tradespeople extremely professional. Olga offered an exceptional design eye in the early stages, with a beautiful result that we love living in and looking at. They kept our home as clean as was possible, while attending to every question and problem that came up along the way (there weren't many because of the level of advance preparation). The follow-up after completion was also very thorough. I have just spent the past few days unpacking and settling into my lovely new renovation. I would like to thank each member of the SOSNA team for an outstanding job. In May of 2018, I began the process of finding a Contractor for my kitchen and living room renovation. After a review of a couple of Contractors, I selected SOSNA. The renovation is now complete and I say with no reservations, that SOSNA was definitely the right choice. From my initial meeting with Andrei Sosnovsky, to completing the design Phase with Olga, on to construction management with Vitaliy and Roman, the entire renovation was flawless. There was not one day through the construction phase that I did not have construction activity on site. The construction staff arrived on time each morning, did quality work, and left my home each day in a spotless condition. The work was completed skillfully and very professionally. All the sub-contractors SOSNA used also met the same high level of quality. Also, the project was completed on time and at the agreed upon contract price. There were no surprises along the way. We have only positive things to say about our experience with Sosna. As first-time homeowners and first-time renovators, we can truly say that we felt at ease and confident throughout the entire process. We did quite a bit of research and compared our options before partnering with Sosna and we are confident that our decision was the right one. Our project was a total gut-job and included work on the entire main floor - living room, dining room, kitchen and den. We also had multiple supporting walls removed to create an open concept space. The kitchen was custom made to exactly how we wanted it and the accent brick facade is BEAUTIFUL. The work was done on budget and ahead of schedule! We recently hired Sosna to renovate our entire first floor. We did our research and Sosna came in at the top of the list. We were not disappointed with our choice. Every single member of team was professional, very knowledgeable and very helpful in every way they could from the start of the project to the end of the project. We were always kept informed of every step, issue and correction. issues that came up were always discussed with us and approval reached before anything was done. After extensive research, I hired Sosna Inc to renovate my second floor bathrooms and walk-in closet. Due to the fact that I have a very tight timeline, I need to find a company who is not only excellent in workmanship, but also with a good track record of sticking to the schedules. Now that the project has completed, I am thrilled to say that Sosna Inc delivered everything that I have expected and more! During the very first meeting with Andrei, I was impressed that he listened to our pain points and advised us to REALLY focus on what we actually need with the limited space we have. During the design phase, our designer Olga really showed her commitment and dedication to making sure we have a functional layout, and that every inch of our limited space is made to good use. This is the first time that I have ever used a designer, and the modified layout is so clever that I could never thought about that myself. This alone is already worth every penny. Olga made numerous trips to my house to discuss all the plans and finishes down to the very last details, including the color of the grout, so we know there will be no surprise as everything is on the drawing. Our project lead Victor is a gem. He is on site every day from 7:00 am. He is courteous, organized, and keeps the site clean before he leaves for the day. On rare occasion that he needed to be late, he always let me know in advance, so that I am prepared. I really appreciate it as this shows he really respect people's time. My family and I live in the house during the renovation, but we don't feel stressed, because firstly the dust is kept at minimal, secondly, we could see progress every day. Roman the project manager came to my house every Thursday morning to check on the progress and to collect my feedback. All other trades used by Sosna are all very polite and very efficient. Thanks to Sosna Inc, our family now have two beautiful bathrooms, and one roomy closet to enjoy for many years to come. Thank you Sosna Inc for making our dream come true!

Wanting to have our bathroom renovated for many years and being passed up by by a handful of contractors for larger jobs, it seemed like the bathroom would never receive the badly needed renovation that we wanted. Pushing on for another round of contractor interviews, I came across Sosna Inc., and immediately reached out to Andrei and within a few hours he contacted me and walked me through the Sosna Inc. process. and from this point I knew, Andrei and his Sosna philosophy was a perfect match. We hired Sosna to renovate the main floor (open-up the kitchen, living and dining room areas) of our Etobicoke bungalow and I'm truly thrilled with the company and the end result. My friends and work colleagues questioned me on a daily basis whether I was stressed about the reno and it was quite the contrary as I was never stressed but excited to come home to see the progress made. We lived in the house during the renovation and Roman and the crew kept the work area very clean and having zipper walls really helped keep the dust to a minimum. We liked Andrei and his team from the very beginning because they were always early for our meetings, but the reason we hired Andrei and his team was due to their transparency regarding budget. We knew the total end cost of our renovation up front. They gave us a detailed list of the work it included based on the agreed budget from demo, to plumbing to electrical right down to the finishes that were chosen during the 6-week design phase with our designer, Olga. She really helped us nail down the look we were after. There was even a binder on site for our reno that had all the sign-offs for the crew to refer to. My reno was estimated to be done in 2 months and it was completed in exactly two months. Andrei and his team are true professionals and he runs his company like a white-collar corporation with meetings, sign-offs, change orders, follow-up meetings etc. We are going to hire Sosna for phase 2 next year which is renovating our basement.

We were referred to Andrei and his team through a friend who had already worked with Sosna. From the first contact, Andrei was very informative and took the time to understand what we wanted to change and why. We needed to remove a non-load bearing wall to create one larger room from 2 smaller rooms, remove an existing closet, build a new custom closet, install new flooring and completely redo a full bathroom and a half bathroom. While the quote was a bit higher than the others we got, the planning process Sosna uses to stay on time and on budget, as well as their quality materials/workmanship made our decision easy. We had the pleasure of working with Olena on the design, she made multiple trips downtown to accommodate seeing us in person and talk about options. She also brought samples of materials for us to see and suggested stores for us to check out when looking for certain items. The drawings she created were really helpful and we planned things out. Once the design was complete, we were very pleased to meet and work with Viktor who was on-site on a daily basis. Viktor's work is very clean and precise, he definitely takes pride in what he does and it shows. We were away from home for much of the work but felt very comfortable leaving our place in Viktor's capable hands. We were very pleased with the results of the work, Sosna stayed on budget and actually completed the job a week early! There were no hidden costs and when we did want something extra done, the process to add a change request was very easy. As with any project, some things don't go exactly according to plan but the Sosna team helps to find good solutions and puts the customer first. We've been out of town quite a bit since the work was finished but will be taking our 'after' pictures this summer to add to this review. We hired Sosna to renovate our main floor which involved updating/redesigning our kitchen, scraping the ceilings and replacing all of the flooring. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and highly recommend this company! A previous renovation with another company had not gone well so, this time, especially given the scope of the project, we wanted to make sure that we found someone reliable. Right away we were impressed with Sosna. You can just tell that Andrei takes his company's reputation very seriously and prides himself in being a company that does quality work on time and on budget. We were not disappointed! Sosna are very organized with an emphasis on project management and well defined processes. The first phase was working with one of their designers, Olena, who guided us through the entire design and finish selection process. She was diligent in providing us with design options and really went the extra mile to source finishes and find solutions that that fit our style and budget. She was incredibly dedicated to making sure that we were going to be happy with the final results. After the lengthy design process, there was a pre-construction meeting to go over the construction process and answer any questions we might have. We had to live in the house during the renovation and so were a little nervous, gearing up for what we thought was going to be a long and difficult time. To our amazement, the time flew by. Looking back this is because 1) Sosna made sure that we were as comfortable as possible living within the house including setting up a makeshift kitchen space for us and doing their best to contain all of the dust 2) Almost all of the work was done during work hours when we were not at home 3) Sosna makes sure that as many details as possible are worked out before construction starts, 4) they have detailed project plans for construction that allows them to accurately predict how long a project will take and 5) they stick to those plans. There was a dedicated person, Oleg, who showed up during the construction, every day at the same time. He was wonderful to work with, always on time, very friendly and eager to give us update on the project. Seeing progress every day helped to make the time go by quickly. Part way into the construction, we added some work (scraping the ceilings, painting all of the doors and trims etc.). Despite this, Sosna still completed the project on time. A friend of ours summed it up best when she said, "What do you mean they finished on time. I've never heard of that before". The process ended with a post-construction meeting where we were asked for detailed feedback and given a binder with all of the manuals and warranties organized for our reference. Amazing! On time, on budget and fabulous results. We love our new kitchen and main floor! Thank you, Sosna!

We hired Andrei and his team to do a complete bathroom reno and change our hardwood floors while we were away on vacation. They assured us that it would be finished by the time we returned. We came back to a clean house with the most beautiful bathroom and new hardwood floors. Our designer, Anna was incredible. We hired Sosna for quite a big reno that included 2 bathrooms, staircase and hardwood throughout the whole second floor. Our experience with them was great from beginning to end. The pre planning that goes into your project before it even starts is where Sosna has it right. All the fine details are ironed out before the project starts. I'm so thankful to have found such a great builder and amazing people to work with. This whole experience from beginning to end was pretty stress free considering we had a full kitchen renovation as well as tiling the main floor entrance and hallway. Andrei has a really well organized business model and schedules all the work and jobs appropriately. Because of this, they are always on schedule and on budget. The whole crew were professional, personable and respectful. Each night the work area was always left clean and tidy. My mom already had a great experience having her basement renovated with Sosna a couple of years ago and on that recommendation we hired the team to renovate our completely unfinished basement - they 'wowed' us and we are thrilled with our basement as a compete and amazing extended living space (includes bedroom, huge bathroom, open kitchen and recreation area). We hired Sosna Inc after seeing the work they had done in a friends home. We had our bathroom completely re-done. They are very professional, Andrei attended appointments on time, was very thorough with what we could expect from them and what was expected from us. They were upfront with all pricing (no hidden costs), their designer Olga worked with our style and gave us great options plus revised any selection we weren't happy with. They arrived promptly on the scheduled start date and finished on the day they said they hoped to. They job would have been finished a day earlier but we were waiting on a custom piece that came a day later then was hoped for. Sosna Inc. renovated our 30 year old bathroom that had a lot of issues (mould, piping leaking, cracked and falling tiles). It was a total gut job, all the way to the studs. We replaced the window, took out walls and moved the shower to another wall. Andrei (the owner) was very professional, informative and listened to our requests. All the workers were conscientious, they were punctual, kept everything clean, and they were skilled and knowledgeable in their area of specialization. They not only built a beautiful bathroom, but also used quality materials throughout the renovation process. Having heard about renovation horror stories, we were very hesitant about renovating the bathroom, even though it desperately needed it. However, Andrei made our first experience with major renovations to our house a stress free experience. We would hire Sosna Inc. for future renovations without hesitations.

This is the second time Sosna Inc. has done renovations on our home and we are very pleased with their work. We had our flooring replaced (hardwood installed in four bedrooms, and carpet in living and dining rooms) and the tile floor, tub and tub surround replaced in the main bathroom. Once again I hired Andrei and his team to complete a major 10 week renovation of my 1922 built home. In addition to completing basement renos, a small upstairs bathroom and then the rest of the second storey, Sosna Inc. has now completed the whole main floor of my house, stairs to the second storey as well as putting insulation and stucco on the outside west wall. This year I again turned to Designer Olga who did an exceptional job of maximizing the space in the small bathroom previously. This time her design not only maximized the space for the kitchen, but also opened up the entire main floor living area and virtually made it a new house! I am so pleased with her work. It is difficult in an older home to modernize and yet maintain the unique character of the home. Olga once again listened to what was important to me and worked with the Sosna team to retain certain features of the original home, for example some years ago I had stripped the old finish off wood railings and mouldings and she insisted that this wood was beautiful and not be painted as is often the trend today. She kept even a portion of an old plate rail in the dining room and it looks amazing with the new kitchen. Care to detail and exceptional workmanship has been noted by all of Andrei's team, not just Olga. The plumber, plasterer, cabinet maker, electrician, stucco team, carpet installers, window installers were all good as well as being punctual and respectful of the areas that were not under construction. Vitaly is amazing when it comes to tiling, both the floor and the backsplash. The original hardwood floor was refinished by Dragos upstairs last winter and with this project he replaced the old with the new. While it may be easier to work with the new flooring, I'd like to add that he was a truly a master when it came to fixing the upstairs floors where repairs needed to be made and some new wood needed to be added in small spaces and matched with the old. The Project Manager, Roman, kept everything to schedule and was a very hard worker himself. He was also always very prompt at getting back to me with any questions I had. Andrei has always been great on each and every project he has done on this house. He has satisfied every little request and major requests too. He takes care of all details and honours the contract process. It is very clear that Andrei aims to keep his clients happy and finish projects to their satisfaction. However that being said, there are always surprises that cannot be anticipated. The Sosna team dealt with the discovery of asbestos in a wall that was removed in a prompt and safe manner. The abatement costs were additional costs to me but most understandable. I was glad that Sosna Inc recommended a quality abatement company to deal with the asbestos removal safely and very quickly. In addition to a thorough contract that included timelines, I had a detailed outline of the work to be done and they stuck to it! I continue to be impressed that all workers make a real effort to keep the house as neat as possible and garbage is cleared away regularly. The new hardwood floors were protected until the very last moment when painting and everything else was done. I cannot say enough how much I value their professionalism and the pride they take in their work. I would highly recommend the Sosna Team to anyone without hesitation. You can honestly believe their tag line......"A contractor you can trust" !

My wife and I wanted to remodel our four piece ensuite washroom from top to bottom. We retained Sosna Total Contracting for that purpose and are extremely pleased that we did so. The trades persons are professional, the agree upon price was honoured, the work site was kept clean, the timeline was met and the total package came together as we wanted. Following completion, there was a very minor plumbing glitch. Within 24 hours, the matter was fixed. We continue to be delighted with the workmanship, functionality (which also incorporated safety features) and outstanding design.

Andrei and his crew removed old drywall and framing from a small room in my basement. He knew that I needed it done sooner than later so he arranged to do the job on a holiday Monday. Job was done well and I was very pleased. . He isn't the least expensive contractor out there but he is honest and respectful. He is also very responsive and showed up on time (unlike many other contractors who don't bother showing up for appointments). He is very honest and isn't just out to make a buck.

Sosna Inc is an excellent general contractor. They renovated our kitchen/eating area while we occupied our residence. They used qualified staff and sub trades to complete the project. Workmanship was above average. Their site personnel were efficient, clean and courteous. Sosna gave us a fixed price based on working drawings. They completed the work in accordance with the drawings and for the price quoted. There were no short cuts or substitutions. Some extra services were requested by us. The prices for those extras were fair and reasonable. Sosna started the work when promised and completed the project on time. Overall the construction experience with Sosna was professional and painless.

Jun 09, 2014, Richmond Hill We had our second project done with Andrei (owner of Sosna Inc) this spring. First project had rather unfortunate start by another contractor - We have been through a lot with misunderstanding and poor skills of our first contractor.Thanks to Andrei and his team, everything ended up great after Andrei's team took over. This spring we did not have to search for contractors - we knew exactly who we can trust on bathroom reno. Andrei and Vitaly are very good at communicating and explaining what they are doing and why they are doing it. There is no hiding of information or cutting corners – a very professional and ethical business performance. There was a minor issue, but Andrei promptly addressed and fixed it to our satisfaction. They are on site on time, keep everything as tidy as possible and treat us and our house with respect. Vitaly was outstanding at his crafts - even noticed minor tile seam defect (seam was not aligned with window's edging) and offered to redo his own work - one could notice it, only if one knows where to look. I have a great respect for people who can admit and offer solution for such a things! Needless to say that they were great people to have around. I truly believe that Andrei's professionalism and great craftsman's skills of his team make them one of the best contractor companies we have ever come across. We will be happy to welcome them back on our future projects. We sincerely thank Andrei and his team for all the hard work, dedication and regard you have shown us while working on our house.

I hired Sosna Inc after dealing with several contractors for various stages of work that was done on my home in which I have owned for 19 years. The house which is over 100 years old required updating when I first bought it, having completed that phase of the work I now was in the process of having contactors quote for opening up my attic and creating a space that could serve multiple purposes (yoga room, quiet space, Storage area. After experiences with other contractors that were either late, disorganized, or just not able to do great work I was pleasantly surprised to have met Andrei at an event hosted for contractor, installers . I had Andrei come and quote on the scope of work, and was given a fully detailed breakdown of the work that was required, the timeline, and the firm costs. All of the cutting, grinding and dusty work was done outside of the house and the garage (in very cold temperatures!). We value the working relationship that was established with Andrei and his team. It was obvious that the team did the extra little things that made the whole process enjoyable. We are confident that Andrei`s experienced and reputable team was the best choice for our renovation. When meeting Andrei I had confidence that the work to be done by his Company would be perfectly completed. The work to be undertaken was in the basement recreation area of the home. To remove and renew all inside walls, floors and ceilings. Plus to gut an existing Bathroom and replace with a completely new one. Each of the team were masters in their particular trades; always leaving the work areas cleaned up at the end of the each work day. The team always arrived promptly each morning and no days were lost in the estimated time of the jobs` completion, which was completed ahead of schedule. 2nd time around with Sosna and their team. Current project was 3 bathroom renovations but because of time restrictions we decided on completing main bathroom now and deferring 2 remaining bathrooms until a latter date. Project was for complete renovation including new fixtures and painting. Project started and finished when indicated. Workmanship, again, was perfect.
