I have had the pleasure of working with Block Builders on two projects, in two different capacities. I hired Tony for my own construction project which included a major kitchen/family room renovation as well as many upgrades throughout my home. Tony and his subs are knowledgeable, thorough and very easy to work with. My project came out beautifully and I could not be more pleased. I have also worked with Block Builders in a professional capacity as the interior designer on a new residential build. Tony is responsive, attentive and very accessible. Overall, I would highly recommend Block Brothers as their workmanship and attention to detail is exceptional.

My wife and I hired Block Builders Group to do a near-total renovation of our 1926 bungalow in DC. Tony Paulos signed on as the builder, but he ended up doing a lot more--including much of the architectural design work! From start to finish, he was professional, creative, reliable and fun to work with. To a man, his employees and subcontractors were first-rate. Tony completed the complex job on budget and under deadline, and my family is extremely pleased and proud of the result. I recommend Tony Paulos and the Block Builders Group whole-heartedly.

We hire Block Builders (Tony Paulos) to construct our custom home in McLean, Va. after interviewing and getting bids from five top custom builders. We chose the perfect builder for us. Block Builders were competitive in price and delivered a magnificent home for us that has won awards and has been featured in magazines. Tony is unpretentious, fair, honest, capable, and was able to seamless work with our demanding architect (Donald Lococo). As a team we were able to customize finishes and color schemes as well as economically incorporate design changes and finishes such as using recycled wood from my barn for wall paneling, custom doggie door, stone walls, and utility sink placed in an antique tool bench that the architect found. During construction we lived in a house on the adjoining property and our entire family including two dogs had daily interaction with Tony, Donald, Brian (construction manager) and Block's construction crew and subs and found everyone to be friendly and nice. We highly recommend Block Builders and Donald Lococo.

The company was fair in price, professional and on time! There were no hidden costs. They were clean and the workers were very respectful. I had them do a complete kitchen make-over and it turned out beautiful!! They also did new exterior siding. They made excellent suggestions to make the outside look amazing and they didn't make suggestions just to jack up the price. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!
