Bob Vranizan and his company, V & Co did a bath and kitchen remodel for me in 2015. Subpar work, materials, knowledge. Have been fixing this guys mess almost since day one. Am now resanding and staining the kitchen floor. Within a few months stain was coming off in multiple places and it turns out he used a water based stain which according to multiple floor guys said should never be used on wood floor, especially kitchen. I intended to write a review long ago about many things that failed almost as soon as these guys were done. but thought maybe unfair to vent my anger so publicly (kinda felt sorry for him) but I really should have warned other possible customers. No wonder there are no reviews at his website. Be very careful and look over his shoulder

We have used this company three times in the span of 13 years. We began with an entire home remodel. Since that time we've added upgrades. Each time the the work and materials were excellent. The projects were on time and on budget. Bob and his staff have been a pleasure to work with. They were most helpful in solving any issue that arose no matter how small.

Bob Vranizan and his team were very easy to work with. His original time estimate was for about 10 months and despite building department delays, he almost hit it. We moved back in after 11 months. I hope to never do another remodel, but if I did, I would use Bob again.

On a recent project, Bob of V & Company worked with us to build our design for a Kitchen and Interiors remodel of a Marina Style house in San Francisco. While this project was simpler and smaller than they are capable of building, V & Company gave us their full attention in planning the budget and schedule. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is truly impressive.

I worked with Bob and his team on a remodel of my flat and buildout of my basement. They did an excellent job on a complete bath and kitchen remodel, along wit a buildout of an accessory unit in my basement. Electrical, plumbing, and lighting were all redone. Of course there were issues with this size of project, but we were able to work through them to my satisfaction. Change controls were kept under control and the project came in on budget. I am thoroughly enjoying the results. Bob has good attention to detail and listens to his customers to ensure they are happy. I would definitely use Bob on upcoming work.

We did a complete remodel of our three level Bernal Heights home. We moved our kitchen, living spaces and office up to the top floor and added a 30' clerestory to bring in lots of natural light. We used a very contemporary design with lots of straight lines and right angles. We needed a contractor who could deliver top quality finishes without breaking the bank. The V and Company team are superb craftspeople, which you can see in our clean lines and material transitions. Examples are our perfectly smooth transition from kitchen cork floor to hard wood in our living room, steel surfaces around our stove top and steel border for our wood burning stove/fireplace. Bob and his team were real partners in the project. They gave us great advice that lead us to a more functional dumb waiter (we use it all the time), better placement of fixtures in our master bath, brilliant deck in our small backyard and more. We couldn't be happier with the result that we have. It is such a pleasure to come home every day and marvel at the beautiful space we get to live in.

Our sorely outdated, poorly planned kitchen was an eyesore and difficult to work in. With the help of V and Company, what was once a dark, poorly utilized space became an efficient, well-lit, beautiful kitchen that has been a delight to cook in. The scope of the job included a new kitchen, laundry room, replacing almost all the windows in our home, re-roofing a rear addition , and rebuilding our back porch, all with the uncertainty of working in an 1891 Victorian that has been remodeled several times over the years. As an added complication, we lived in our home while all this work took place. Bob organized every phase of the job and lined up all the subcontractors to do the work in phases that made sense and made steady progress without needing to rush. His cost estimates were very accurate and we never had any surprises. Issues that came up during the project were handled quickly and efficiently, he kept us informed, and he was able to keep the project on schedule. The subcontractors were all very good and any construction that V and Company did has been excellent and has definitely withstood the test of time and frequent use. The V and Company crew were amazing and efficient workers. They were never late, they were always polite, they always cleaned up at the end of the day, and given the amount of construction that went on, they were very quiet. During the time they were here, none of our neighbors ever complained to us about noise. Before we even got started, Bob gave us valuable feedback on decisions about light placement, cabinetry, and materials that made sense and helped enhance the beauty of our home. He also took the time to follow up after the project to see how everything was working. V and Company was a pleasure to work with. They are our first choice for any future projects.
