I would not recommend. Joe did our MasterBath renovation and the floor grout has been redone 3 times already by him and some tiles are loose and the grout is missing in 75% of bathroom. He always told us he would always come back and make it right but he stopped answering our emails and calls last summer. Very unprofessional.

J&M Construction helped me out big time. My roof was leaking and I had a roofer come in and redo a section of my roof, but it still leaked. That roofer came back 8 or 9 times with little repairs, but it never solved the problem. I finally gave up and called J&M. They had to redo the section of the roof, but it solved the leak problem right away. It's been 2 snow storms and a few rain storms later and still no leak! I wish I contacted them first.

I have worked with Joe and his team on several projects . The most recent project was a total renovation of home office . They did a fabulous job and completed the project on schedule. All of the subcontractors provided excellent service and did their jobs perfectly. Joe is hallways very helpful and bends over backwards to make sure everything is done correctly . I look forward to recommending him for future client projects.

Joe and his team did an 8 month renovation of my fixer-upper. We started with the design, where his input was extremely helpful, and then went through all the stages of construction. He replaced all the windows, put in a new HVAC system (replacing oil heat and radiators with forced hot air and adding air conditioning). a new water heating the system, replaced flooring, doors and moundings, completely gutted and redid the kitchen and 3 bathrooms, and reconfigured much of the the interior. Joe was extremely responsive and communicative and his team's work was excellent. He also did a great job with the budget and timing. The house is beautiful in a large part due to Joe's guidance and hard work.

J & M Construction and Son, a local/regional GC in Fairfield Connecticut has been my go to guy for the past 10 years! His professionalism and knoweldge of all aspects of remodeling, renovation, and home building has been invaluable to this homeowner. The list of projects big and small is lenghty: starting with a $300K addition, including a second enetertainment kitchen, bathroom, double decker decks, patios, and garage / entrance reconfiguration. That was just the beginning. Over the years tack on a master bath and new kitchen renovation, new roof, new windows, new gutters, siding replacement, driveway drainage system, ice melt system, basement waterproofing, generator install, electrical panel replacement, and lots of small masonry jobs. And then there are the one off timely litlle fixes when plumbing and electrical issues occur. ...and when we go on vacation he perosnally does a walk around the property. Joe and his team are timely, trustworthy, and very dependeable and he has never steered me wrong on any project ideas and/or the ultimate quality of his work.

I have personally hired J&M Construction and have professionally referred this company to my design clientele on multiple occasions. In all instances I have been very pleased with the outcome of the work, the professionalism, timely manner of managing the projects and Joe's respect for the budget! The team is understanding and respectful of clients needs and follows through with demands of the project. I highly recommend!

Joe and his team at J&M Construction did excellent work on a full bathroom renovation for my client. I specified a complex tile installation and their work was exemplary. Joe brought a positive attitude to every meeting, spent time assisting with fixture selections, provided solutions to little problems that arose, kept the work site clean and tidy, and completed the job in the specified time frame. The finished room looks amazing and my client frequently reminds me how pleased she is with her new spa bathroom. I look forward to working with J&M Construction again soon!

Joe and I have worked on many projects together for over 20 years. He is very accommodating and is always looking out for what is best for his customers. His work is impeccable and he also has a good eye for design. He is a true professional and has high expectations of his vendors and workers, and expects the best of everyone and everything he brings into the project. We have known J&M Construction since 2006. They have completed 3 major projects for us (renovated a large kitchen, finished a 3,000 square foot attic, and built a large deck). In addition, J&M has completed numerous smaller projects over this period. My observations are as follows: 1.Joe takes extraordinary pride in his work, and his standards are exceptionally high. When Joe takes on a project, we have complete confidence that the finished product will exceed our expectations. 2.We have worked with contractors in other states, but have never found one as knowledgeable and professional as Joe. There is little that he does not seem to understand completely. On the rare occasion when he thinks a specialist may be required, he does not hesitate to say so. 3.His pricing is transparent and fair. 4.Joe meets deadlines. His word is his bond. 5.He is always responsive. If I call or email him, he responds the same day. 6.Joe is there in emergencies. When a large tree fell on our house during a 2010 storm, a crew removed the tree and started repairs the same day. 7.Joe is a pleasure to work with and a pleasure to know. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found him; he is simply the best.
