M. Lahr Homes

I want to give a lot of credit to M.Lahr Homes and their team. They built our home in College Park about 3 years ago. It was everything we wanted then and still is. Three years later, if there is an addition we want to make or even a minor repair, they are quick to point us in the right direction or even help. I can't thank them enough for their continued customer service and fantastic finished product.

Building with M.Lahr Homes has made our home dreams a reality. We brought to the table a modern and ambitious set of schematic plans. They were able to take those ideas and build the unique vision we knew was possible at a price point we could afford. As as interior designer, I am aware of the teamwork and obstacles that occur in construction. Any obstacles faced were solved with professionalism and with solutions that fit my home vision. I had many custom requests and Lahr’s team was able to meet those challenges and expectations. Having a modern design requires great attention to detail and they truly delivered on those details. From design, to project management, to warranty – the totality of having met so many design elements both large and small has rendered an amazing outcome and positive home build experience. The teamwork and people behind M.Lahr Homes truly has made the statement we set out to make. We are so proud and thankful to have built with them.

We recently completed a new home build with M Lahr Homes. After interviewing several custom home builders, we felt most comfortable with Mike & Erin and purchased a home they had already started and got busy making the project ours. Through the process they were not only patient and informative, but truly had our best intention at heart. When choosing a builder, you have to find someone you are comfortable being in a relationship with for months, even years. Even as issues came up (trust me, they will!) Mike and his team were all in on making sure we had the best outcome. Aside from being a beautiful home, it's also high quality and we are proud owners of an M Lahr home! Mike and his crew are top notch. I had been looking for a builder in the Orlando area for some time, and luckily a friend told me about M. Lahr Homes. I sent an inquiry and got a response back almost immediately from Mike's wife, Erin. The next day, I went and looked at a few homes they had under construction, as well as stopped by Mike and Erin's personal residence, and I can't say how impressed I was with the quality of their work. After a conversation with Mike, I told him I didn't need any more convincing, that I had found the builder I wanted to use to build my dream home. From start to finish, from picking out every detail of the house, to keeping to the timeline, everything went extremely smoothly. I could not be happier with how everything turned out, and with the customer service. I can't recommend them enough.

When I was looking for a new home, I saw an M Lahr home for sale and liked it so much I decided to meet with them to discuss how we could work together on a custom home, in the location of my choice. I was completely confident in Mike and his team, and I would trust them again. When my home was finished I couldn’t believe how smoothly everything had gone, since everyone worried me with other nightmare stories about contractors! Obviously there were bumps in the road and a few things here and there that needed fixing, but even more than a year (actually two) down the road the M Lahr team is only an email or text away to help make things right

My wife and I had the pleasure of purchasing a Lahr home just over 1 year ago and we could not be happier with our experience. This is my third new build experience; while each was unique and consisted of both positives and challenges, this was our first where we felt like we had a lasting relationship with a builder that cared about us enjoying our forever home. Ours was not a custom build from the start, as we engaged them as they were mid-build on a spec home, but I felt they were forthright regarding what they could accommodate versus not, knowing than it was not a true custom build for us. I felt they took the time to understand us and how we would enjoy our home and incorporated that in to the remaining process, which was more than we could ever ask. Since our initial move in, they are just a phone call or email away, for both warranty and non-warranty related items. I can’t tell you how invaluable that has been, as we have had random incidents occur (not related to the construction of the home) where it was vital to have access to information only they would have. I will say that, having some experience with new construction, there are plenty of opportunities to become disappointed anytime you build a home. Schedules are fluid, communication is key, and understanding that virtually nothing is 100% perfect the first time around is a perspective clients should have in mind. It’s how the client and the builder work through these moments that defines the relationship, in my opinion. As it relates to the Lahr team, we are very pleased with our experience and look foreword to working with them again in the future (but not too soon, because we love our home!).
