Southern Swell Construction just completed a major bathroom renovation project on our master bath. They completely gutted the bathroom, down to the studs and rebuilt it from scratch. Simply put, they did an amazing job and we are very happy with the final results. In fact, to be honest, it turned out better than we ever could have imagined. Dave was professional, courteous, and had a lot of good ideas we hadn’t even thought of to maximize the space and design of the new bath. All of the employees a SSC and their subs did amazing work, they worked hard, they cleaned up after each day and took steps to protect the rest of the house that wasn’t being worked on. As with any construction project, we ran into unforeseen difficulties and surprises along the way and SSC really impressed us with how they took them all in stride, offering great solutions that were cost conscious. The inevitable change orders (all of which were caused by us changing our minds on things or adding to the scope since it made sense to do them at that time) were clearly articulated, with formal change orders being provided in writing and they were all reasonably priced. The team always showed up on time, came when they said they’d come and did what they said they’d do. Dave never asked for large sums of money upfront, only accepting incremental payments after the agreed upon milestones were achieved. We loved that all of the milestones were clearly articulated in the written scope of work contract that was agreed upon and signed before work ever started. Therefore, we felt comfortable and confident at every step of the project and we always knew when payments were due and how much was owed. We were thankful and happy that all items were completed on budget and per the amount quoted. Dave truly impressed by how he always made sure things were completed as promised and to our satisfaction without question. We are already looking forward to working with Southern Swell Construction for the next phase of our home renovation project where we’ll be gutting and redoing the entire rest of our main living level. It’s a much bigger job and we’re lucky to have found a contractor that we know will do a great job!

Dave and his crew are excellent. They completed an extensive master bathroom remodel for us. I would definitely consider them for your project as we intend to use them again for any future work. The communication was great, fair pricing, quality work. We recommend Southern Swell unconditionally!
