About Us

Synergy Building Corp. is a construction managment and award winning construction company in Sarasota Florida. Synergy Building Corp. was founded in Sarasota Florida in 2005 by Siesta Key native Joe Jannopoulo. It was created with the intention to provide the area a company that offered an artistic approach to construction that focused on the project over the profit. It was clear that Sarasota, even with all the quality competition in the market, needed a construction company focused on a team foundation where an Architect, Contractor, Landscape Architect, Engineer, and Interior designer could work as a team from the beginning stages of a project from design to completion. This process allows the project to have design, planning, value engineering, forecasting, scheduling, and construction as a one step process to save time and money to the home owner.

Balaity Property Enhancement

I contracted Synergy to construct my modern multifamily residence in 2014. As an architect building my own home, living on site, with a modest budget, I could not have presented Joe Jannopoulo with more challenges. He and his entire staff remained professional throughout the project. Most importantly, Joe's integrity never lapsed as we reviewed all project costs, change orders, and unforeseen conditions with complete transparency. In the end, I felt that Joe and his foreman were as proud of the project as I am.

Synergy Building was an excellent general contractor for the building of my new home. Joe was very realistic during the bidding process. Joe possessed the building knowledge to know what I would need in a home of the caliber that I was building. His attitude and attention to detail were outstanding. His knowledge of the local trades turned out to be his best contribution to my project. Joe was very sensitive to cost overruns and advised me of alternatives that would have the same effect and still stay within our budget. Other builders were lower in their initial bids, but they didn't have the same materials that Joe had in his bid. I definitely came out with a lower cost by going with Synergy Building. I would highly recommend Synergy to anyone building a new home.

I have had the pleasure of working with Joe Jannopulo, CEO, Synergy Building Corporation for several years on individual residential projects for my condominium. Joe at Synergy Building Corp. is a Contractor that has the energy and ability to perform with competence and excellence. He took the Casey Key Garden and Pagoda project with his eye on design but also for quality and endurance. He researched, traveled and spent many hours to make sure the end result would be what was intended. Joe was able to coordinate and work with various trades all at the same time to keep a great team attitude and high level of performance. The completed project is definitely a must include in anyone's portfolio. Great job Joe.

SBC provided design/construction services in connection with an addition to our home in Venice, FL. The project involved both structural and design components. They were very creative in developing designs and selecting materials that were both visually appealing and durable. Our only regret is that in a short sighted effort at frugality we did not include some of the recommended design features.
