We have a luxury lease from Meridith baer home. A very heavy painting they installed fell on the floor. We are very lucky we were not hurt. Turns out they hung the extremely heavy painting on one nail. Not once a did they apologize for the negligence and then wanted to charge us for a replacement piece. My wall and floor is damaged because of them. I have to say the communication with them has been very poor overall.

We engaged the Meredith Baer Home team for an “ insta home” project. They did a full design and purchased and installed furniture and fixtures for the majority of a home we just moved into. The furnishings from our previous home did not work in our new home so we were basically starting from scratch in several main rooms. The team of John and Deb, did a phenomenal job in transforming our home to a level that we never could have done on our own. What would have taken us months took them only a few weeks including custom fabrics for couches and cushions. John’s vision and implementation of his design was exactly what we were looking for. Everyone who enters our house raves about how all the furniture and fixtures come together to make our home a warm and tasteful place to visit. We still pass by pieces introduced by John and find something new in how it ties into the overall design. We recently completed a complete renovation of our kitchen; our contractor’s wife is a designer and marveled over every room. Deb was always there to work with us and ready to address and resolve any issues that arose. At the beginning of the project, she assured us that Meridith Baer Home would stand by its word and she certainly made sure that happened. We couldn’t be happier as to how our concerns were addressed. John’s vision and implementation of his design was exactly what we were looking for. We are very disappointed with Meridith Baer Home (Los Angeles) service and speed of communication. Frankly speaking, they ignored all our appeals and did not solve any problems that created to us. 1. The house was infected by a moth from the sofa. Moth in the house was everywhere. We communicated with Meridith Baer but unfortunately without any results. We had to order one time treatment for moths and they promised to pay for it but never did it in spite of the fact that we provided them with the proof paper. 2. They did not carefully remove the furniture and two expensive doors were damaged. 3. Members of their crew used all 8 bathrooms in spite of the fact that we gave the permission for using just one of them at the main entrance. So we had to order cleaning all of them. 4. Together with the furniture they took our dollies and did not return them despite our many requests. These dollies belong to us not their company. In our opinion, Meridith Baer only wants to receive money but does not care about the client and does not value its reputation. We do not recommend working with them.

We just worked with Yari Horilczenko from Meredith Baer and he was beyond exceptional. Firstly, he went above and beyond compared to other designers we've hired in the past. He is approachable and action-oriented on top of being a truly talented decorator. He started out by moving our existing furniture and art around (making much more sense and looking so much better than before). Then he presented new pieces and finishing touches. Everything works perfectly together and the turnaround time impressive. Huge thanks!!!

Great looking projects, I can vouch for this. She did a phenomenal job staging the massive 20,000sq ft home I worked on with DJ Balling and crew during the new construction phases. I was the journeyman HVAC installation lead on this project and was blown away with the gorgeous interior design

I hired Setting the Stage to stage a vacant condo that was being listed for sale. The team was great to work with, very professional. They took the time to meet with me, see the condo and made suggestions during the consultation that were very helpful. Communication was easy and timely. They arrived to all appointments on time. The staging made the condo look great and it sold quick very quickly. All around, great experience. Thank you guys!!

I have had Meritith Baer bid multiple development jobs for me. Their prices are a bit higher than other stagers I use, however you get what you pay for. They do amazing work, and I will be utilizing their services the next time I have a developer list a home with me

Meridith Baer Home is an incredible service that recently staged my Hollywood Hills home. Given its placement in the hills - and it being a unique space - I was genuinely worried about my ability to sell it without somehow helping the buyer to truly envision what the place COULD look like if properly furnished. The designer i was paired with was amazing and very sweet. She did a fantastic job and i sold my home with multiple offers very quickly. I can't possibly do MBH justice in trying to explain how wonderful they are. I highly recommend them for so many reasons.
