Alluring Designs Chicago

I’m from Chicago but I moved away for a few years and came back Chicago for work. I was talking to one of my coworkers at lunch about wanting to find an interior designer that would really make my ideas come to life. I just bought my house and I wanted to make it feel like a home. My coworker said one of her friends recently had some work done on her house and she showed me pictures of the before and after and I was sold right then and there. I needed that persons contact info! She got me the number the next day and I called and left a voicemail. I got a call maybe 2 minutes later from April from Alluring Designs. We talked for about 20 minutes and set up my consultation for that weekend. When she got to my house I was expecting a film crew like they do on HGTV lol but she was by herself, just her and her iPad. We went from room to room and she was writing on her iPad and taking pictures of everything. We discussed the budget and start date and within a week the work began. I had this huge wall I wanted knocked down and her team did that. Watching the transformation of my house was something new for me. The term “Trust the process” really came to life for me. April stayed in contact with me updating me on where we were within the budget and kept every deadline she promised. Her color schemes for my bedroom were spot on and whenever someone walks into my house they see how open the living room and kitchen is (Because that wall is gone) along with the colors April and her team chose, and they love it! Everyone love this big comfy couch too, I think her mom picked it out so I have to give her mom the credit for that one. Alluring Designs really made my house a home and I can’t thank them enough.

Alluring Designs Chicago redesigned my dining room. They were extremely professional, had great design ideas that I never would have thought of on my own such as double chandeliers.The project started on the dates we agreed upon and was completed in a timely fashion. Communication was very easy and they were always accessible.

I worked with April and the Alluring Designs team on my living and dining rooms. I saw some pictures of a glam living room that they worked on and I knew I needed their help. April came over to get some pictures and talk through my vision for the living room. I had no idea what I wanted in the dining room but I really trusted her to be creative with the project. April kept the lines of communication open and even asked me if I wanted to be involved in every decision or if i would prefer to have some surprises. I actually loved the idea of having a “big reveal.” On the day of the install I stayed out of the rooms that the team worked on. When they finished and we had the reveal I was in SHOCK. I know we talked about themes and ideas but it’s like she was in my head. I loved EVERYTHING. They worked so hard to get everything perfect and it was. I have not changed a single thing. I love having people over to show off my space. Alluring Designs was very professional and they got it all right. In fact I’m having them do my guest room next. Ten out of ten recommend them. If you’re looking for designers this is your team.

Thank you for my oasis! April was patient and thorough, dissecting my interest and vision, then transformed them into an amazing space. It's been nearly 1 year since bedroom was completed but I still smile each time I return. I, like most, believe that I have a good "eye" for design, but I could not have imagined that my home could look so amazing!

April and Alluring Designs revamped my basement and laundry room into a work of art. She is patient, great with communicating and collaborating ideas. I will definitely work with her again and with all the compliments I have received, I'll refer all my family and friends.
