My wife and I had gone through a couple of designers when we elected to work with Jackie after seeing what she had done with a friend’s house. After that first project, we worked with Jackie exclusively as we completely remodeled and updated our Calabasas home. Jackie’s work completely exceeded our expectations. We wanted a sophisticated, elegant, and warm home and Jackie was instrumental in getting that for us. Jackie quickly learned our tastes and not only worked with those in mind, but she was also able to push us a bit out of our comfort zone. She was very good at bringing together design, form, function, and visual aesthetic into a cohesive vision that achieved the feeling that we wanted for our space. Jackie was also a great job captain. She brought together our general contractor and coordinated the schedule of other contractors and sub-contractors during the main part of the project which was a complete re-model of our kitchen and family room. Not only was she able to do this with aplomb, she also able to ensure that we were without a kitchen for as little time as possible with the kitchen down for less than four months. In short, not only would we recommend Jackie but more importantly, we would hire her again and we look forward to working with her on our next project.

Jackie is phenomenal to work with! She truly pours her heart and soul into the project. She is very detail oriented and makes sure that everything is done properly with great taste. Jackie takes great pride and joy in her work and attends to her clients projects as if they were her very own. This is the second house we have hired Jackie to help us with. We loved what she had done in our previous living room and knew when we moved and needed help again just who to contact. She helped us transform our boring living room into a functional and happy place. We transformed the space by adding built-ins and a bar. She also helped us convert a random area between rooms into the mudroom of our dreams!! It now has tons of storage and cubbies for everyone to put their stuff. Our home lacked a linen closet so she helped us design linen storage in our bedroom which turned out better than I ever thought with a countertop for me to display photos. Jackie constantly has great ideas!! Also, the people Jackie brings in to do the work are all fantastic and the quality of work is superb. Her guidance with paint colors, materials and furniture were spot on. Jackie is great at getting to know your style, what you like, and helping you transform your space into something you only dreamed of. We look forward to using her again in other rooms of our home!

I cannot say enough good things about Jackie Steinberg of Eve Mode Design and how she has designed and managed the remodel of my condo in Marina del Rey. This has been a long-distance project as I currently live in Florida. Although I have made a number of visits back to LA to work with her in person choosing materials, fixtures, furniture and appliances, cross-country communication has been key. Jackie has faithfully kept me informed of all progress and issues, as well as choices to be made, through phone calls, texts, FaceTime calls and photos. Her industry relationships are solid, plus her taste and judgment are superb. She listens to my suggestions and concerns, and most importantly also hears what is underneath them. I have never done a project of this scope, but Jackie spent all the time we needed to get to know me, my priorities, my taste, my limits, my budget. Equally important she is thorough and strong representing us with the contractor and his crew. The happy consequence is that I have great trust in her. Not only will the result be a beautiful new home for me, but we’ve also had a lot of fun along the way. What a bonus!

Jacqueline Steinberg was very helpful in starting our home remodeling project. She is very knowledgeable, has great interior designing abilities and very professional. Jacqueline gave us a lot of great suggestions and design ideas to improve the overall appearance of our house. She helped us to pick all the material necessary for construction including facets and appliances. She introduced us to contractors and sales consultants that she frequently uses. She is very pleasant to work with, efficient and prompt to deliver a top notch service.

Eve Mode Design! I was looking for an interior designer to help me “re-imagine” my living room - which is an odd shape. My plan included purchasing new furniture with the exception of the bookcase. Jackie Steinberg was absolutely the perfect choice and here’s why: The very first thing she did was come to our home to talk with us about how we use the room--- how much time we spend in the room, what do we use it for (hanging out, entertaining, reading), how often we are in the room, and how did we want the room to “feel” when the project was completed. It was such an interesting way to begin and helped set the stage for the style and pieces we ended up purchasing. Secondly unlike most designers, Jackie took the time to get to know us as people- are we casual or formal, do we have friends and family over frequently, is our house the holiday house, all of this helped frame what would be important to us in both design and layout. Jackie ended up doing several design drafts for us, including recommendations on lighting, until we found what we really loved. The process was very smooth and fun. I really appreciated that she was conscious of our budget and would advise on what items she thought we should invest more in and what items we could get for less but still maintain the look and style we sought. Jackie has excellent taste and a sense of adventure - she has an eye for putting together pieces that I wouldn’t have imagined. Finally, I would add that she was generous with her time - I would email her items I saw or ideas I had and she always responded quickly with her feedback- we went shopping together several times and it was both fun and efficient as she knows what shops are best for which items. Jackie stayed with us through the whole process including reframing and placement of art work, plants and flowers. Best part is that our living room was totally transformed and has the vibe and feeling we had wanted. Jackie will now be my “official” designer as I plan to continue to consult with her as we do other projects. If you are looking for a beautiful home that conforms with you style and vibe, Jackie will help you achieve that beauty.

Jackie has been wonderful! I am so happy we hired her to help us with the interior design of our home. She was involved with the design of our kitchen, living room, and powder room. She did a great job of taking the time to understand our taste and what we were looking for while balancing functionality with beauty/design. She is very responsive, detail oriented and organized. Jackie was a tremendous help and inspiration with our project. We remodeled our kitchen and living area and another TV room. Although we more or less knew what we wanted,Jackie made it come alive with her designs and recommendations .She brought in excellent people to do the work and was on top of the project throughout. I first saw Eve Mode Design/Jackie's work on Houzz. I was looking to do a remodel on our new Calabasas home. I saw other remodels on her site/Houzz and my jaw literally dropped as I looked at all the gorgeous pictures of the before and after. I hired Jackie right away. Anyone would be foolish not to! My husband and I had waited for 20 years to remodel our home. Jackie was wonderful to work with and her guidance was extremely valuable. This being our first remodel project, it was great to have her help us through the process. Through her years of experience, she has accumulated a network of great resources and we used her contractor referral.
