Jane Brookman Designs

We hired Jane Brookman of Jane Brookman Designs to design and coordinate a full master bathroom remodel in our Seattle home, and the experience was excellent. The project went down to the studs and included a custom shower, new soaking tub, tile floors and walls, lighting, plumbing fixtures, vanity cabinetry, mirrors, paint, and a redesigned toilet room. Jane helped transform what was previously a dark, broody bathroom into a light, spa-like space with a modern look that feels welcoming and relaxed, and very much like us. This was our first major home renovation, so communication and guidance were extremely important to us. Jane was consistently responsive, organized, and professional. She patiently walked us through the process, helped us navigate the many design decisions, and coordinated effectively with our general contractor to keep the project on schedule. Jane also helped us make thoughtful material and fixture selections and was especially helpful when we requested a few scope changes. Instead of simply accepting budget increases, she worked with us to find materials that kept us closer to our original expectations. Her creativity and resourcefulness made a real difference in the final result. The finished bathroom feels like a spa retreat. The space is light, bright, and beautiful while still being very functional. My wife especially loves the new soaking tub and now enjoys relaxing baths every week, something she had not done in more than ten years. Several months after the renovation was completed, we are still enjoying the space every day. We highly recommend Jane and are already planning to work with her again on future projects in our home.

Jane Brookman Designs transformed our bath, laundry, and mud room into a beautifully functional space. Jane’s design expertise, clear guidance, and seamless coordination with the contractor made the entire process effortless. I’d hire her again without hesitation and highly recommend her work.

We would highly recommend Jane. Working with her on our project to decorate our living room and design the rooftop space was a great experience. She brought positive energy, really listened to my style and what I was looking for, and offered thoughtful, creative ideas throughout the process. The end result is both beautiful and highly practical. Thank you Jane!

Jane was instrumental in helping to create my dream kitchen. Guiding me through the process, helping to find the perfect stone for the countertops and gently stopping me from making less than perfect choices. I LOVE MY NEW KITCHEN!

Jane worked hard Jane was an invaluable partner throughout our entire home remodel. Her expertise touched every aspect of our project, from initial space planning and color selection to the finest finishing details. She thoughtfully designed our kitchen from the ground up, guiding us through cabinet selection, layout optimization, and color coordination to create a space that's both beautiful and functional. Jane's hands-on approach made all the difference. She accompanied us to showroom appointments for plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, and flooring, helping us navigate the overwhelming number of choices with confidence. Her eye for design shone through in her custom tile layout and her careful curation of light fixtures that perfectly complement each space. Beyond the design work, Jane was an active advocate for us throughout construction. She made regular site visits to ensure our vision was being executed properly and represented our interests in discussions with the contractor. Her dedication and attention to detail transformed our house into a home we absolutely love.

Jane was wonderful to work with and we would highly recommend her. She first got to know our style preferences and then proceeded to provide us options. She incorporated our feedback and pushed us to try new things. You might expect these things from a designer and Jane did even more. She was our advocate throughout the project. She had a great contractor that she brought in and the vendors and suppliers she used were wonderful. Our home was a complete remodel and it wasn't without bumps but Jane helped us work through everything and when we were sometimes freaked out she was calm and helped us with the solutions. The project started in February and was basically done in July. We love the outcome and the design and the feeling of the home really match what we desired to be the outcome.

Jane has been a lifesaver with our home update. She is literally the reason we got though our bathroom and flooring remodel. She helped us find contractors we could trust, choose floors/paint/EVERYTHING! We couldn't pick a floor or paint color for months, then in came Jane and we had decisions made in 2 meetings. It was incredible and took so much stress off us. Jane has an incredible eye for color, and is so supportive of *our* vibe. She doesn't push whatever is current in the design world. She asked us questions about our lives, how we use our spaces, and the feel we wanted. And then she made it happen. We love our floors, the new paint colors, the clean look to our bathroom. We are so excited to continue working with Jane on more rooms, and 10/10 recommend her to anyone needing just a little guidance, or help with their entire home.

Jane was a huge help in remodeling our kitchen and powder room. She helped us find reliable contractors, provided excellent design development and guidance, and project oversight. We consulted her frequently on color and tile selections, countertop and retail vendors. We benefited greatly from her depth of experience. We recommend her highly.

Working with Jane has been an absolute dream! She seamlessly integrated herself into our home design process, even while the house was still under construction. Her exceptional talent and keen eye for aesthetics have transformed our space into a truly stunning and comfortable home. Unlike our previous designer, who presented a rather bland and uninspired vision, Jane effortlessly captured our desire for a glamorous yet tasteful living space. She expertly balanced our budget with our aesthetic preferences, resulting in a home that we absolutely adore. I can’t imagine achieving this level of design excellence without Jane’s invaluable expertise. I’ve been raving about her to everyone I know, emphasizing how effortless and enjoyable the entire process has been.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Jane Brookman of Jane Brookman Designs, and I can honestly say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the very first consultation, Jane took the time to truly listen to my needs, preferences, and vision for my space. She didn't just offer a generic design; she created something that perfectly reflected my personal style while making the most of our space. Our situation was complex in that it was a full house remediation, rebuild, and redesign. I knew I needed the help of a professional to navigate the process, maintain the vision, and bring us to the absolutely stunning result of what has truly become our dream home. What impressed me the most was Jane's ability to balance creativity with functionality. She helped me make the most of every room, ensuring that it was not only beautiful but also livable and practical. She brought new, creative, innovative ideas and options to the table that I would've never even known to consider without her help, while staying ever mindful of my preferences. Throughout the process, communication was seamless. Jane kept me informed without delays. She was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, yet warm and approachable, making it easy to collaborate and make decisions. Jane was well connected in her industry knowing who to call in the area of contractors, merchants, and tradespeople which allowed us to partner with the best of the best in getting my project to completion with ease and peace of mind. I appreciated her calm, confident, and collaborative demeanor every step of the way. The final result is absolutely breathtaking and beyond what I could've even imagined for our family. Every room feels cohesive, inviting, timeless, and thoughtfully designed, with unique touches that make it feel like our space. It’s clear that Jane is a master of her craft, has a deep understanding of design principles, and the ability to translate a client's vision into reality. Bottom line, my advice to anyone: hire Jane and listen to her. She is a quiet storm and a force to be reckoned with....always in your corner. She'll save you from making really costly mistakes. She'll coach you through what can be an overwhelming process if you go it alone. She'll talk you off the ledge. She'll tell you who to call....and equally important, who not to call. I know now that I was truly blessed that I found Jane and she had the time to take on my project. If you find yourself in the fortunate situation to work with Jane, absolutely don't hesitate. You'll look back, like me, and know you made the best decision.

Jane was wonderful to work with! She had excellent design ideas that were tailored to our style, and she was very open to working with our ideas to complement her design suggestions. She was also able to connect us with some merchants who had beautiful furnishings, and she worked closely with us throughout the entire process. We're so happy with the end result, and we would highly recommend Jane Brookman Designs!!

I absolutely have loved working with Jane! She has turned our home into the absolute home of our dreams. Every process whether it was painting, wallpaper, finding art, even framing art Jane has been there either through text, email, or in person (a lot of the times in person). Definitely am hoping to continue to work with her on the rest of our house! Thanks so much Jane.

I've never worked with a designer before, and Jane is making the experience fantastic. She gets my style while also being flexible about individual items and conscious of my budget. She brings a ton of enthusiasm to my project that makes me excited to see the results. I'm very appreciative of her expertise, confidence, and cheerful attitude, especially when I am feeling unsure. She's an awesome partner for any design challenge and has connected us with top-notch service providers. I'm so thrilled we have her help turning our house into a cozy home!

In the transition to a full time remote job, Jane was there to help design my office to be an amazing space to spend countless hours in. She helped every step of the way including finding good paint colors and extremely professional painters, helped find the perfect framing for some art I had been meaning to hang up, and furnishing the space.

Fantastic interior designer. Very knowledgeable and creative in finding viable solutions! She has helped me with multiple dilemmas and her solutions and advice are top notch. I recommend her highly!

Jane is professional, responsive, knowledgeable and also very personable. I wanted advice and guidance in choosing paint colors for our 3000+ Sq ft multi level modern design home. She not only made suggestions in the pallet I was considering but also nudged me a little outside my box to consider and choose complimenting colors. She ordered samples of real paint, not just pictures, for me to move room to room for consideration and provided recommendations for painters she works with. Jane is Excellent!

Jane is a natural born gifted designer. She sees things that I could never even imagine. I’m blown away by her gift. I told her the style I wanted and she creates the style I wanted. She’s fun too and goes above and beyond. She knew exactly what needed to be done right when she walked in and even did some stuff right away without even knowing if I was going to go with her. She also has excellent communication. She will get back to me right away and follow through on everything. She’s a gem I believe she is the best!!

Jane is wonderful to work with. She is friendly, thoughtful and very talented! Jane took on our project and guided us through all of it!

So glad I found Jane! I wanted a refresh of our 90’s dated home but needed to do it in stages ( even though I wanted it all done Now). I spent months and too many cans of sample paint colors trying to do it myself. Jane to the rescue! Professional, fun and a fantastic eye. Jane helped with color, furniture, lighting and overall decor to give my house the warm, cohesive look I was looking for. I am looking forward to tackling more projects with Jane in the New Year. ( hello kitchen) Thank you Jane! 5 stars across the board! Alli

Jane has been fabulous throughout the entire process of renovating my kitchen!! From the initial design, construction and through the final details!! She thoroughly listened to all my ideas and concerns and created an amazing space! She went above and beyond dealing directly with the contractors while I was on vacation. I was totally at ease knowing that everything would be taken care of - Highly recommend Jane Brookman Designs!!

Jane was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. She was accessible and responded quickly to texts and phone calls. I appreciated that she worked with me to solve problems, make decisions and assisted in communication with the contractors to make sure we were all on the same page. My bathroom renovation was a great success! The results are beautiful!

Jane is amazing. She pulled our remodel together with amazing details. I wanted Modern farmhouse and she made it happen!

Jane is a fun and energetic designer. Her passion truly comes through. He timeliness and attention to style are on target.

My wife and I are currently working with Jane to furnish and remodel our new home for ourselves and our new baby! We enjoy her friendly but focused approach both when helping us with the interior designing. She’s come to our house many times and she’s been very responsive via phone and email. We feel she has kept us as a priority and wants to get things done in a timeline that works for us. We’ve also benefitted from her relationships with contractors. We were able to get a quality painting job done, and have someone lined up to remodel our bathroom at a time when contractors are booked out for months. Jane’s design sense has been a big help to us as we’ve had to devote a lot of time to prepare for our new child, and we’ve appreciated her taking the time for our feedback and ideas as well! We’ve had a great relationship working with Jane so far and look forward to seeing our finished home coming soon!

Jane has excellent taste and was able to design our master bathroom remodel in a timeless, yet stunning way. She helped us find direction, including major movement of our shower and vanities. We did not know where to begin with materials, color, and pattern choices. Her design guided us through every step of the process. We are so pleased with the final product!

Jane has done wonderful job setting up our living room. She is pretty responsive and knowledgeable. We did review lot of others work, but Jane's work stood out among all of them. All of our friends love our living room setup. She did pick furniture from different places to give the space unique and personalized look. Overall, it has been smooth working with her. I would recommend her to others. In future, if we plan to setup another space, we would definitely work with Jane again.

Jane is a wonderful and talented designer! She really listened to my budget needs and vision for my office. I highly recommend her services.

We were looking to remodel our kitchen and master bath and this was our first time ever hiring a designer. Jane was very professional and patient to answer all our questions and give us useful insight about the remodel. Jane provided us with remodel designs that met our styles and look we were seeking. Not only did her work provide us with the design we were looking for, it gave our contractor the details they needed for what we wanted as the final design.

Jane is super friendly, professional and has given me some great ideas for my living room and family room.

Jane was amazing in helping me with a complete living room redesign and choosing paint colors throughout my home. She completely nailed my style with just a brief chat and questionnaire and did everything remotely due to Covid-19. I love my new living room!

This was our first time ever hiring a designer and wow I wish we would have done it sooner! We’ve used Jane a few times now and have loved the results. First to pick out wall colors for our entire 3200 Sq ft house (every single room and wall) and then carpet to match blinds, trim and new wall color. Then she helped us design, furnish and decorate our incredible dining room and living room, and then we hired her again for a design and furnish of a home office, which btw imo is my favorite space in the house! It is awesome! She did this via e-design during the pandemic even! We consistently get tons of compliments on our decor and design etc. all because of Jane. I have to say that we would be on the frugal side of spending and Jane was able to stay within a reasonable budget. We learned our lesson though with being overly frugal! if Jane recommends you spend a little more on something, do it! There is a reason for it and how it supports her vision, and usually it won’t break the bank. We decided on another couch because it was cheaper and I regret not going with what she initially recommended! However she gave us options at many levels of prices/cost which was helpful for us and we also got ideas and were able to buy like-things that worked and she proved guidance on that as well. She is reasonably priced from our standpoint and the results are truly magazine-worthy! We love our house because of Jane. Would hire her again, and will, in a heartbeat!

Jane was my interior designer when I moved back to my condo after renting it out for many years. Jane was a breath of fresh air! She provided consultation for hardwood and carpet flooring, paint, window treatments, a fireplace tile face-lift, and lighting fixtures. My boyfriend and I moved in together; Jane was very helpful and merging our two styles together, from furniture to artwork. This home feels like US – and we both love it. Thank you, Jane!!

Jane is amazing and would consult with her again. Even with very little direction from me on colors, she was able to provide paint and design guidance that I absolutely love. And everyone who has seen my place loves it, too.

We found a lot of value in working with Jane on the design of our remodel. She was flexible regarding our budget and worked hard to come up with ideas that aligned with our taste and complimented our existing project.

Jane was the keystone that brought our project together. We had planned for years on redoing our kitchen, but when the dishwasher leaked and damaged the cabinetry and flooring, we knew it was time. Still, we didn't have the grand vision of what it could be, and the last thing we wanted to do was begin repairs without it. Was it possible to get everything we wanted in the finished kitchen? We met with several designers, and were honestly underwhelmed with the possibilities - lots of uninspired one-size-fits-all plans that left us frustrated. Then entered Jane, who truly listened to what we wanted, engaged, and even challenged us on what the space could be - she had great ideas. She worked with us from the first day to the last, and we valued her input every step along the way - from the original layout, figuring out our style and developing a concept board, selecting the materials for the countertops, the flooring, the tile, and even the furnishings to make this space our own. I could not be more pleased with the final result. Friends and neighbors that stop by comment on how fabulous it is, and say they wish they lived here. We are so happy we found her. We look forward to working with her again in the future to update our bathrooms.

Jane was great in helping us personalize our new house. She has great taste in furniture and decorations. She's super professional, always punctual, and has many good connections in the industry. I highly recommend working with her.

This was our second project working with Jane and we truly couldn't be happier! Jane is very approachable, professional and fun to work with. She really listened to what we wanted and came up with a beautiful and creative design. Her excitement and positive attitude throughout the entire process helped keep the stress to a minimum and kept us energized through a long project. We came to trust Jane's vision and took risks that we wouldn't have taken otherwise; and now are very happy that we did. If you're looking for a partner and excellent designer with your project, then would highly recommend that you add Jane to your short list of people to consider.

This is my second time working with Jane Brookman Designs and I couldn’t be happier! Jane has an incredible eye for design and is a professional in every sense of the word. I loved working with Jane and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer. She brings so much creativity to the table and still manages to design something that fits you. Thank you Jane for making our new house a home!

Jane was exactly the right fit for the remodel on our guest house and made quick work of choosing paint colors, furniture, flooring, and art - all the stuff I was dreading! Her clear eye and assertive style helped me cut through all the decision paralysis that goes into remaking a space, and we got the project done in record time. The updated guest house is bright and open and lovely and has delighted and enchanted our visiting family and friends. She's genuinely brilliant!

Jane was a true godsend! I had just moved into my new space and was planning on hosting some family within a month. Even with this insane timeline, Jane was ready to start helping ASAP, and oh boy, did she DELIVER! We would make multiple trips to different stores to buy furniture, decoration, artwork, and other items we felt were necessary for the space. Throughout the whole process, I always felt that my opinion was heard, and she also did a good job in conveying her suggestions without making me feel dismissed. She would come over and help select the most optimal locations for the items we purchased, as well as helping oversee the placement of furniture and artwork. We were working hard until the very last day before my guest came, and when they came, their jaws dropped in awe as they saw what the space had become. Jane was my first experience with an interior decorator, and I left the process feeling like it was very worth it. I'd 100% recommend Jane for any interior decorating services. and I plan to consult with her in the future if the need ever arises!

We worked with Jane to gain some design ideas for our kitchen/home remodel last summer and parted ways feeling disappointed. While we appreciated her thoughts and ideas and used many of them, I don't think we were a good fit for her, overall. We were doing a lot of the work ourselves and my husband is in the construction industry, so he gets very maniacal when it comes to detail (measurements, space management, etc.). In looking at Jane's past projects and reviews, I believe she works great with people who need a project manager and have a large budget to work with - we were neither of those.

We were looking for a designer to help design our newly built 3500Sq Ft home in an upscale neighborhood. We found Jane through Houzz and were a bit skeptical at first because she was not referred to us by someone we knew. However, we ended by hiring Jane who designed our whole home within our budget so beautifully we get asked by every one who walks into our house. We love our home each day even more. Throughout the process, Jane was very confident about her thoughts, was open to our inputs and considered them strongly, brainstormed with us when we were not sure, and flexible to adjust plans to stay within budget. She was very approachable from the beginning and was equally excited about the project just as us. We are waiting for some final art pieces and furniture to arrive before taking pictures. We will be sure to post the pictures as we complete the design. I highly recommend Jane for designing homes in budget.

Working with Jane for our kitchen remodeling project was a blast! She is very knowledgeable with design and fashion, keeping up with the times. While really listening to our vague intentions and multiple desires, she provided clear direction, guidance and candid feedback. Working diligently with access to a comprehensive network of suppliers, she saved us significant time and costs on the overall project. We just love our dream kitchen she helped us articulate.

My experience working with Jane was really reassuring, removing STRESS from the equation. Our project was a kitchen remodel involving tearing down a bearing wall from family room and integrating the design with other areas now connected with open space. While I had a vision for this significant undertaking, it was really helpful to have someone listening and providing thoughtful guidance throughout the process. From assisting with the overall design, to handling the research with suppliers and driving work with contractors, she provided tremendous value. Before deciding to work with Jane, I had discussed our project with other designers who ended up not a good fit either because they found it was a too complex challenge or because it was not their style of design or what "they did". Jane was able to take on a design style because she was confident in being able to help us with our vision and what we really wanted. The result is a beautiful kitchen, a new open space area, well integrated with the rest of the house. Jane is super fun to work with, she is efficient, respects our vision and saved us good money.

Jane knocked it out of the park! A true professional who has the creative genius and gift that some of us- me!- do not. Our home is so inviting and functional yet beautiful and exactly as I imagined it could be...and more!! I needed someone who could guide, not push, me and allow me to put our own personal stamp on our home- Jane has the unique ability to translate your ideas into reality and make it easy and fun! I truly enjoyed working with her and can’t wait to do it again...soon!! Kudos to Jane- 5 stars PLUS!!! ⭐️

Jane is the greatest design partner! Every project with her is smooth and ends up better than expected. Can’t miss when hiring Jane Brookman! We not only hired Jane for our home we used he amazing skills for a commercial project. She is a well rounded designer and helped us find out style!

My wife and I started working with Jane in spring 2018, planning a remodel of our master bath, a new powder room and a future Kitchen project. We completed the bathrooms in November and continue to work with Jane on the kitchen and other various projects throughout the house. We were initially on the fence around the need to hire a designer, but are very thankful that we did. Jane has guided us through every step of the process and helped tremendously with the contractor on things we wouldn't have anticipated. Also, as most couples embark on remodeling projects, it's been great to have a third party to help us compromise and come to a decision on tile, hardware, colors, etc. Additionally, I found that our design interests are aligned with Jane's, so everything went very smoothly. If you're looking for someone to champion your project, we'd highly recommend Jane!

Jane is a great design partner. She's helped make some solid decisions on paint color, built in cabinets, closets and our girls room design. She works hard to ensure the things contract out get done at high quality and that furniture is in top top shape delivered. If something isn't perfect she does whatever it takes to make it right! She's a really fun and positive person to work with!

Jane helped me chose colors, tile, exterior stone and carpet. I was building my first custom home w/o a builder and her help was really needed. She was easy to work with, flexible and responsive.

Jane designed a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom for us. We had a very small kitchen and were not sure at all how to make it into a larger space. She came up with a great plan that we could never have done on our own. She was there for every step, from construction down to making all those little decisions on colors and styles. She listened and took the time to get to know us, what we liked and really wanted. We loved it all so much, we then asked her to help us re-decorate our living room as well. We are so happy with all of it!

Jane has been very easy to work with. She offers options and constructive feed back to my ideas. She has been very helpful moving me away from my comfort (beige). I look forward to working with her as I continue my home remodel

Jane is a professional in every sense of the word! She will take your ideas and turn them into beautiful renderings that puts the project together visually. From that moment on she will help you with every important detail along the way. From putting together concepts to picking out tile. Jane will go so far as to meet you at the furniture store to help pick out the furniture for your vision to be complete. She is very decisive and will give her opinion. I highly recommend her for any size project.

We worked with Jane this past year on a complete renovation after our vacation home flooded. At first, we thought “how hard could it be to pick out design elements?”. The answer is that it is super hard!! We knew certain ideas that we wanted and Jane took those ideas and ran with it. She made sure everything was cohesive and would produce the final result that we wanted. When we look at the house now, we can’t imagine what it would look like without Jane’s help. And even with the house being far away and requiring a ferry trip to get there, an incredibly frustrating building crew, Jane was always open to helping us. After seeing Jane’s other work and with what she did to our house, I can confidently recommend her to anyone who maybe just needs a little help or someone who wants a designer to completely handle the project. She works with you at the level you’re comfortable with. The 3D renderings Jane does are invaluable. They helped us picture her ideas and also were a huge help to the building crew. Jane has exceeded any expectations we could’ve had and has truly transformed our house into one that finally feels like home. When ever somebody stops by, they are blown away with the choices she made and the attention to detail. Thank you so much Jane, the house is gorgeous and we couldn’t be more grateful!!

Jane assisted us with a bathroom remodel. She did a great job in coming up with creative ideas to transform the space, leveraging the basic structure that we had. Jane was organized and in front of work that needed to be done to keep the project moving. She was also always available whenever we needed her help, a pleasure to work with.

Jane is great! Hired her for our chiropractic office design. We have now hired her for our second location and project. We love how she value engineers the space to be reproduced at an affordable price. She gave us ideas and suggestions on how we could get the same look for less. We feel like she’s someone we can trust because she’s always looking out for our bottom line. We also love that her specialty is in healing spaces; our patients feel like they are at the spa when visiting our clinic.

Working with Jane was nothing but rainbows! She made a very overwhelming process into a fun experience. She worked around not only my budget, but also my vision. She listened to all my wants but also encouraged me to go a little bit outside my comfort zone and the result was just amazing. My house turned out to be this beautiful and inviting space I’ve always envisioned it to be! All thanks to Jane!

We had finally decided we were ready for our kitchen/dining area remodel. I knew in my mind what I wanted, but couldn't picture it. Jane at Jane Brookman Designs was wonderful to work with! Having her draw up what our kitchen would look like minus a wall and new layout made all the difference! We were able to get a good idea of what it would look like going forward. Her ideas and opinions were very much appreciated, and made the experience something that I could do with her again!

Jane was wonderful in helping us work on our extensive main floor (primarily kitchen) remodel. She and our contractor Dustin Wells worked well together. Jane has a great eye and has the capacity to adapt to her clients preference without being too pushy. A major plus in this industry! Jane has a warm a friendly personality as well. We get nothing but complements on the work we have had done. Everyone one who sees it LOVES it! That is a huge complement.

Jane helped us plan our kitchen remodel for over a year, presenting every detail we didn't even consider. In the end we have a kitchen that has abundant storage, light, and functionality in ways we didn't think were possible. Jane, your vision and design parallels your clients instead of counteracting it. Kudos!

Jane is an amazing designer. I knew I needed to remodel, but she showed me all the different options and created a better space than I could imagine. She designed a beautiful great room, with plenty of shelving and space. She had a really good eye for colors and tiles. I don't think I could have ended up with a better space.

Jane was great, fun and easy to work with, she was prompt, thorough but most importantly, she understood my style and what I wanted resulting in 3 very different bathrooms that reflect my style but were put together in a creative and unique way. She was excellent and pulling tile, paint, and fixtures all together. In addition, she designed a bathroom vanity that I could give to my contractor which saved both time and money. I will definitely give Jane a call next time I need any design and decorating advice.

Jane was responsive, professional and flexible. She did a great job of helping me find a vision for my living room and office, and then executed it within budget. I've already recommended her to several friends. She's a delightful person and you will be happy you hired her!

I worked with Jane to place a fine art photography print at her client's home, and was so impressed with her style, expertise and great communication. She is a delight to work with and her spaces that she designs are absolutely stunning. This amazing designer's career is skyrocketing, and I would highly recommend working with her if you get the opportunity!

Jane was really fun to work with and she had great ideas for our space. We love our new master bedroom and bathroom!

I have worked with Jane on 3 projects now and have been extremely happy with her design work. I highly recommend her services! Thanks again Jane Brookman!!

Jane was so great to work with. She really helped us bring vision into reality, transforming our 1950s kitchen into a modern, functional, and beautiful space!!

I moved into a new apartment, with no furniture. A complete blank slate. Jane did a superb job for me -- listened carefully to what I liked and disliked, produced concept boards for me to choose from, suggested layouts, and then helped to source everything from furniture, to art, and even bedding and linens. I couldn't be happier.

My wife and a I are exceptionally pleased with the work Jane Brookman Designs did for our multiple room design project in NorthEast Tacoma. Jane did an incredible job of identifying a style that incorporated elements that both my wife and I found appealing. Additionally, She was able to accomplish our design while adhering to the budget we had established. I would highly recommend Jane Brookman for any design project and wouldn’t hesitate to contact her for future work of my own.

Jane Brookman Designs has entirely transformed my dark and dated kitchen, dining, and living room! I had put off remodeling because I was overwhelmed and no idea where to begin. I wanted to take out a wall to open up my dining room, move appliances, and restructure my cabinets and pantry. It felt like I would need an engineer and an architect to accomplish all of my goals, but Jane was able to determine the functionality of the space so it met my needs, while also incorporating my style & vision. I am pretty confident in what I like but did not know how to make the space look the way I wanted it. Jane asked me to show her some images of kitchens I liked and help me with every single material selection. From stain colors for my floor to back plash patterns and all my lighting choices- she was invaluable! Jane did a great job listening to me and balancing my taste along with hers. What a blessing it was to be able to hear her suggestions and get her advice on my ideas. I love everything about my new house and would highly recommend her for your next project. It was one of the best decisions I made and I will definitely be using her again on any of my future remodels.

Jane has been such a tremendous help to us. Having purchased a new home we definitely needed some direction on how to handle our new great room. She came and took the time to take measurements and talk to us about what WE really wanted the room to look like. What kinds of things we liked. Styles, colors, textures all of it. She created several digital examples of how we could use the space. Which really is so nice. It's one thing to talk about it but incredibly helpful to have a visual. Our space is a little funky but she had several great ideas on how to style it. We had a pretty restrictive budget. But Jane was able to squeeze in everything we needed AND wanted with hardly any sacrifice. From start to finish I really feel that Jane had nothing but our wants and needs in mind. Not only did she do a great job and was very professional, but she made it fun and we couldn't be happier in our new space.

I had moved recently and felt like none of my old things worked in my new house. Jane's energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and her patience in working with us and our budget was appreciated. We couldn't afford to replace everything at once, so she helped us determine our top priorities. I find trying to pick out home furnishings overwhelming. There are so many different styles, so many places to shop...working with Jane is great because she narrows down my choices. I have the final say, so my house is full of things that I chose, but I didn't have the stress of finding them. Jane's vision fits our house and our own personal style as well. She took into consideration that we have young kids and that we don't plan to stay in our current home forever. She helped us with the basic layout for our living space and organization ideas for all the kids stuff, as well as helping is pick interior and exterior paint colors. I was completely overwhelmed at the beginning of my project but Jane made our life so much easier and I can't imagine how I could have gotten by without a designer like her!

It was a real pleasure to work with Jane who totally transformed my one bedroom apartment into a home I love. I would highly recommend Jane to anyone looking for a professional, efficient and all round excellent interior designer

I hired Jane to space plan and design my one bedroom apartment in Seattle. She took a 750 square foot awkwardly shaped space and turned it into my beautiful sanctuary. Jane is professional to work with and very knowledgeable about where to buy high quality furniture and decor that fits into any budget. Feeling overwhelmed with the task of furnishing and styling my place, Jane was able to calm my anxieties with her custom floor plans and ability to realize my style vision after our very first meeting. She is extremely meticulous about details (color palates, measurements, quality) and will be in as much communication as you need throughout the project. I will be continuously using her services for any new apt/house and recommend her to anyone looking for first class design services tailored to your budget.
