Unfortunately, this was a horrible experience. It was supposed to be a home makeover, turned out to be anything but. Began in February and it's almost November and we still aren't done. We were out of town once they started this project. We came home from vacation to our home being a disaster. Nothing put back in place, dust everywhere, light fixtures barely secured to the wall, wooden floors damaged, mirrors not level and broken. After a very long day of travel and a red eye, we spent the entire day trying to get our house back to normal. Meg the owner of course had no idea and was full of excuses because she was never on the job. We should have run at this point. We were charged receiving fees, yet everything ended up staged in our dining room under our white duvet cover for months. Even some other clients stuff got delivered and stored here. We had to fill our trash cans with many boxes for some reason. They wouldn't come roll out rugs, we had to. Most work was horrific and rather than fix it right, they repaired and repaired until it was obvious it needed to be redone. Nothing ever got completed on the first, second or even third visits. Multiple visits and would take months. Again, she never supervised this job, I had to be here for every visit. Thoroughly overcharged for everything, we paid 30% on top of what her subs supposedly charged. Many items I found online for half or less than what she charged. She would just say, that's not the same thing, but it was. So many billing mistakes, always in her favor. Now, almost 9 months later, we still can't get some items and she won't refund or cancel them. What kind of business collects 100% up front, can't get it the item, then refuses to offer a refund. Every time we expressed our concerns, she was full of excuses and blamed us. Moral of the story, we were extremely overcharged, she was never on the job and full of excuses. An incredibly unpleasant experience. Use someone that knows what they're doing and can run an ethical business.

I'm really sorry that you had this experience and this is what you remember of the services we provided. Your house is full of beautiful furniture and custom pieces that were designed and you loved. However, I will address these negative comments.

Construction is a dirty job and the contractors did their best to clean. We had cleaners come that week to take care of anything they left behind. I was at your home the next day after you arrived home to discuss everything. There was a scratch on your floor which got repaired within in a week. The mirror was off by 1/4 of an inch and that was adjusted. There was a small chip in the bottom corner of the mirror which the contractor didn't see when he hung. A new mirror was purchased the same day.

As far as receiving costs we were trying to respect your budget. On multiple occasions you expressed your concerns on pricing of items after they were invoiced and paid for. In our invoices, we try to keep the pricing very clear even adding pictures when available. Due to your budget, for items that didn't have to go to receiver we shipped directly to your home. This was all discussed before items showed up.

We spent 217 hours on this project. This was over double the amount of hours that were purchased for this job. There were no additional design hours charged. We went above and beyond because there were so many change orders along the way. The design was decided and then a new sectional color was chosen, the dining table went from a rectangle to a circle, and several other changes which we accommodated with grace. We even refunded a full rug that was ordered for a rectangular table after the client decided to change it a circle. The rug had already been delivered and was staged for install. We have to collect money in full before because we pay our vendors in full before as well. The same thing is true when you go to a furniture store to purchase anything. They don't let you pay half and then you pay the rest when the item is delivered.

Again, I apologize that we didn't meet your satisfaction, but we really tried to accommodate all of the changes throughout the process. We never want a client to be dissatisfied and I truly feel your home has stunning furniture and other items that only our firm could do to take it to the magazine level you were hoping for. I have attached some pictures of your project so others can see how amazing everything did turn out.

Meg was great! She was very professional and courteous both on the phone and when we met in person for our in-home consultation. I hired Meg to help with design choices for our new build in Chandler. I knew what I liked and did not liked but had a hard time pulling it all together. Meg was able to help us limit our choices and make decisions quickly so we were able to stay on our timeline. She can work with any budget or size of project and was so easy to work with. Hands down Meg is absolutely excellent at her work ethic and her ability to see things that we don't typically see as novices. All I can say is awesome results and super responsive. MB consulted on a 7,500 sq ft new build for my wife and I. MB takes a great read of her clients and is able to find the balance between form and function. End result was amazing product and....my wife and agree that we will use MB again.
