Robin has done several projects for us. Always been extremely pleased. The projects covered furniture, window coverings, wallpaper, lighting and paint colors. Robin never “pushed” ideas, rather making sure the plan was consistent with our objectives while offering creative solutions. The most current project was upgrading a room to double as a temporary guest bedroom and library/ reading room. The selected couch serves both purposes perfectly. Would highly recommend Robin.

When we recently renovated our home we found working with Robin Muto to be a positive experience. In helping us choose tile, fixtures, window treatments and paint color she considered carefully our input and also worked collaboratively with our contractor. Robin has assisted us with updates to a twenty year-old house, including new living room furniture and a kitchen remodel and a powder room remodel. She assisted us in deciding to purchase a new, custom designed sofa rather than upholstering a beloved old piece. The result was stunning and the decision now seems obvious. The new kitchen is spectacular. Robin helped us pick out a beautiful combination of cabinets and countertops. In addition to her creativity, I value Robin's responsiveness, patience and easy-going demeanor.

We give Robin Muto the highest recommendation in every aspect of her profession. From the beginning, she listed attentively to our expression of the environment we wanted to create. She recognized that we would incorporate much of our existing furniture and art collection, with some additional furniture purchases/construction and all new lighting and window treatments. We did a total remodeling of our kitchen, two bathrooms, existing foyers and fireplace plus painting throughout. All of the above was on an extremely tight timetable which Robin met or facilitated for us. She worked collaboratively with our contractors, specialists and suppliers. It was a harmonious meshing of efforts throughout. She has an excellent sense of style and color and respected our choices regarding price points on differing items. No detail was too large or small for her consideration. We are so pleased with the result that we have already recommended her to others who are also extremely satisfied.

Working with Robin has been a collaborative experience. She has listened to my thoughts and has been able to find what was needed to complete the vision I had in mind. Her assistance in paint color selection and lighting design have been extremely helpful. Robin's recommendation of using woven blinds as window treatments has given our rooms the perfect finishing touch. Lastly, Robin worked well with our contractor and other professionals involved with our project.

Robin has truly been a pleasure to work with. She is a true professional and a skilled interior designer. She also has special qualifications in lighting, an added bonus when working with her. We initially hired Robin to turn our dark and gloomy looking family room into a brighter, more welcoming space. Through her advice, and vast selection of fabrics, carpets, as well as her professional relationships, we were able to complete this task and are thrilled with the results. In starting to furnish our home, my husband and I took a trip to North Carolina to check out the furniture outlets. This trip was a major success only because we had the Robins' guidance throughout our shopping trip. She was available every day and evening by phone and email to review our selections and give us important advice on the pieces. Her knowledge of the various furniture companies and their strengths and weaknesses was also quite helpful. Another aspect of working with Robin which has been great is that although we may not have the same style as Robin in some regards, she is able to work with us, and give us exactly what we want without placing her own personal bias into a project. This has been one of the many reasons why we have loved working with Robin and will continue to do so. We highly recommend her to anyone looking to transform their home or any personal space.
