Last week, June 27th, 2022, we just finished a total renovation of our 25-year-old kitchen. We started by completely gutting the kitchen area, totally starting over with new electrical, plumbing, cabinets, flooring, lighting and appliances. Cristy was our designer and created a fantastic new design. Troy was our project manager and was totally engaged from start to finish, taking care of every detail, challenges and coordinating craftsmen's schedules. Every craftsman that worked in our kitchen really cared about their work and results. The end result was a beautiful new functional kitchen. We are very pleased and highly recommend Signature Kitchens of Charleston.

We used Signature Kitchen to design and install a new kitchen in our home. It is a family owned business of many years and has a very good reputation in the Charleston area. Our designer was Cristy Novak and I cannot sing her praises highly enough. She was so easy to work with, had great ideas and ALWAYS went above and beyond. We had the construction work done in our absence which is a risky move, but Cristy and the construction team did a fabulous job providing pictures and staying in touch throughout. We are very happy with the end product.

I had the very pleasant experince of working with Linda, Lindsay and her team on a new home for a client. I was very impressed from start to finish. They have a beautiful showroom for all cabinets options, showcasing all of the latest design trends and ideas. Nothing is better than being able to walk your client up to and demonstrate to them all of the examples of what is possible, in person. Clients love being able to touch and feel the quality of what they will be purchasing. They were extremely knowledgeable and creative, making helpful suggestions all along the way. They produced numerous CAD drawings to help the client visualize all the possibilities of a dream kitchen and stunning Master Bath. They have a second, also extremely impressive appliance showroom that clients can also visit, comparing all top brands side by side. Here again, they had extensive knowledge and honest suggestions of what would work best for how the client really lives. Their team also includes the best in resources for granite selections and fabrications. Truly an all inclusive business for the discerning client. They were responsive, attentive, and professional. They have the best of both- 40 years of experince, AND completely in touch with all Charleston's hottest building trends. I am definitely looking forward to working with them again!

I cannot recommend this company. Note this is a family business- Husband, wife and son. In the beginning when ordering over $25,000 of appliances they seemed on point. Never heard back from them after ordering appliances. The son said he would call when they came in. I called two weeks later and he said that he would check. I called again the next day and he said they had just arrived. The installation was TERRIBLE. Very unprofessional subcontractor came to my house and did not have a dolly to get appliances up stairs and into my house. Sadly, The DW sent over was not the one ordered. Which took extra days to get. Linda McLain, the owner, acted unprofessional. She was vague and became rude during the install when problems arose. Bad experience... Wish I would have done more research before using Signature Kitchens and Baths of Charleston. VERY DISAPPOINTED OVERALL.

I am not quite sure how to respond to this review. We have checked our sales records carefully and find no record of having sold anything to Gerri Tumbleston nor to anyone with the last name of Tumbleston. If it was purchased under another name, I have no way to research the circumstances of this review.

We opened the doors at Signature Appliance Center in 2008. Our son, Jeff McLain, did not start selling appliances for our company until that date which is after the date of the transaction reviewed. Neither I nor Jeff can recall this client. I apologize if any sale or installation did not meet expectations. We try very hard in both sales and installation to be professional and to be the company that you would recommend and use for subsequent purchases.

We have been in business for 39 years and I personally take great pride in being courteous and helpful in any way I can to all of our clients. I am not usually a part of the appliance side of our business; however, if someone had called in to get information or complain, I would never have been vague or rude. I would have tried to get to the bottom of the request or complaint.

If the sender of this review would please contact me, I would like to apologize if any of my responses were taken in an unintended manner and if she received less than anticipated courtesy in the sales and installation of her appliances.

Completely gutted, remodeled and expanded our kitchen with a seamless, open concept floor plan transforming and maximizing our use of space. Major structural changes opened kitchen to great room by incorporating design elements that included stone facade columns, cathedral ceiling, window backsplashs, walnut and granite countertops, oak flooring, recessed cabinetry and ceiling beams. Appliance selection was outstanding. The completed remodel has that "signature" wow-factor. Relationship with all Signature Kitchens employees (owners, designer, craftsmen) was highly professional and cordial. They clearly explained the project scope, costs, and time lines. The owner was at the job site daily monitoring everything from large structural details and delivery logistics to minute items like sink grates. The project met contract costs and projected completion date. Overall the experience with Signature Kitchens minimized disruptions to our daily routines and exceeded all our expectations!

We used Signature Kitchens & Baths for two projects at our residence. The first involved a complete renovation of the kitchen including cabinets, appliances, granite, lighting, plumbing, refinishing floor, etc. We found the workmanship to be excellent and couldn't be more pleased with the result. The designer that worked with us offered excellent ideas during the planning phase and stayed in touch through the entire project. Finally, the project was completed as committed to us from a timing standpoint. A few years later, we did a complete renovation of the residence's master bath and again used Signature Kitchen and the same designer. The finished project was again excellent and it was a pleasure to work with all the employees/trade contractors that were involved with the project. If there was any criticism for this work was that the project took longer than originally scheduled. This was due to some conflicts with other project work that was going on and unexpected problems with finding suitable subcontractors. But, again the end result spoke well of the company.

Our remodel included a kitchen, pantry, office, master bath, guest bedroom & bath, and enclosed sunroom. The project included design, budget, scheduling, purchasing, and construction. We love it and don't know which is our favorite. The quality of the work was excellent, budget was met, time frame went just as anticipated and the outcomes were wonderful. All of the staff including Linda, Jim, Steve, Troy, and numerous others were so knowledgeable, skillful, professional and easy to work with. It is so nice to work with a contractor that said what they were going to do and then over delivered. The project was actually fun and the results are fantastic!

We renovated a large historic home in downtown Charleston, SC, The scope of the project was enormous, as it had not been touched in over 30 years. The house is a prominent landmark with a storied history, and we wanted to make sure our renovation was in keeping with the home's stature but also suitable for family life. The renovation included a completely new open-concept kitchen, new bathrooms throughout the house, and custom cabinetry in additional locations. Signature Kitchens was the most professional and talented business we worked with during the 2 year renovation. Linda McLain and her team helped us plan out a beautiful custom chef's kitchen that is a joy to work and live in. The Woodmode cabinetry and premium appliances were all purchased through Signature Kitchens and we love them. Linda also designed custom Butler Pantry cabinetry and a beautiful bar. In addition, all of the bathroom vanities were designed by Signature Kitchens and look great. We recommend Signature Kitchens and Baths with the utmost conviction. They provide quality work and are true professionals to work with!

I practically lived with the crew for the time they worked the project as we moved into the upstairs and make an apartment in the laundry room. All of the employees were friendly, neat and competent. The work was done on time, changes were accommodated readily and they have stood behind their work. Although a little pricey, the old adage, 'you get what you pay for' applies here. I love to cook in my new kitchen and work and play from my wonderful new family room both of which have great outdoor views. The designer, Ann, incorporated several pieces of antique furniture that meant a lot to me into the design and the end product is something I am very proud of. I have referred a relative and new neighbor to them with accolades. I will use them again when I get ready to do the downstairs baths.
