Melissa has an awesome ability to conceptualize and match the style of the home and the required interior furnishings and decorating. She works on both coasts and has a great deal of resources from which to draw to complete the project. She is very professional.

Melissa has been a tremendous help in making our house feel like our home. She is very patient, listens and helped us create the space that we envisioned. She was able to incorporate our existing furniture into our new home, while making the rooms transition to an updated look with paint color and fabric choices for drapery. Melissa has a great eye for color!

Melissa was a delight to work with, and she "listens". She has a special flair and passion for selecting fabrics, and for matching the decor with your personal style. I first saw a condo that Melissa had decorated, and her choice of fabrics and colors blended beautifully with the setting on a wooded lagoon, and with the client's interest in nature. So, I hired her, and worked with her awhile back when we were redecorating our master bedroom area.. She helped me with the choice of paint colors, and fabrics, "listening" to my preferences, and carefully considering and complementing the traditional look I favored that was predominant throughout our home, This most recent project was for our living room.. And, once again, she helped me to select fabrics that blended with the setting on the marsh,and that would show off the wing back chairs and Sheraton couch with a more casual look. She recognized my attachment to these 'old" pieces, and encouraged me to renew and reupholster them, blending them with the area rugs, rather than replacing them with new furniture. So the look is "mine", just updated. And, she did all of the legwork, too, bringing fabric books to my home for me to choose from, and coordinating with the reupholstery workshop. All in all, a five star experience!

Melissa is an exceptional designer. She has the ability to listen to her clients then suggest what will work. She is incredibly efficient and she makes sure things are done properly. I have used Melissa from window treatments to furniture to designing a home from the ground up. Would not have anyone else work with me, she is the best.

Melissa was a wonderful help in working with furniture I had and suggesting new pieces that would work well with our open floor plan ,something I had never had before.She reversed our living room and dining room (another thing I would never have thought of) and our many dinner parties we have hosted it is perfect. She is professional,personable and a real treasure.

I met Melissa years ago, I was immediately impressed with her knowledge and passion. I now have my dream home coming to life ! Melissa helped me find beautiful rugs to compliment the things I already owned. Our next project was my master bath. Gutted, it sat for 3 years until Melissa made it an AMAZING bathroom. While working on bathroom she tweeked my master with custom drapery and pillows she designed! She then worked on my AWARD winning kitchen! I still wake up and love everything she has done. I will not work on anything without her, in fact, Melissa travelled from Atlanta to Birmingham to help me.As amazing as that sounds , she lives in San Francisco and went way out of her way to come to Birmingham, Alabama to see me and help with another bathroom project for my mom! I am truly amazed at her talent and gift, if she says she will do something,it will be done! I have a list of makeovers and I know without a doubt Melissa will be there for me. Melissa can look at an existing room and pull it all together. Not happy with my den ,I asked her to perform her magic.....she took 4 of my pillows and simply redesigned them to pull all colors from room! I now LOVE my den. So simple!
