Crystal Kitchen + Bath

I have used CKB for two separate projects in my home. One was a kitchen remodel and the other was adding a shower to a half bath. Both times CKB was wonderful to work with. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Jolynn is the owner and is also a designer. She is amazing to work with. Responsive, organized, great design ideas, works on a budget. I highly recommend CKB and would use them again for my next project.

Crystal Kitchen and Bath did an amazing job on our kitchen. The original was 62 years old and well-past its’ sell-by date! Worse, our sense of design was lacking, to put it mildly. Mary spent a lot of time working with us to figure out what we really needed and what we wanted vs what we wanted to pay for. This was important to us because before we began we had NO idea what a quality kitchen remodel might cost. Now we have a kitchen that is functionally “larger” without changing the footprint at all. It has been done for over a year now and we’ve had a chance to “live” with it and we still love it. Our family does too. First Mary suggested that we make the window over the sink bigger by making the bottom of it just a few inches lower. Then she made the window seem bigger yet by suggesting a full-view awning window instead of the double-casement. Last, she made the floor bigger by suggesting a banquette against one wall instead of having the table in the middle of the room. These are the kinds of things that we could not imagine ourselves. She re-arranged our appliances and maximized the counter-space despite there being no room for an island. Now two of us can cook at the same time! The construction process was delightful. They made every milestone that they had scheduled and they finished *exactly* when they told us that they would. To The Day. Not ONE of our friends that has had this type of major remodel has had a project proceed as scheduled; some have missed by months. Our kitchen was completed in early 2023 so the supply chains were still messed-up but they made it happen. Their planning was flawless. There were minor issues; although to be fair I am not clear that these were Crystal Kitchen’s fault. There is a door lock that works well in the winter – when we don’t use the door – but did not work well last summer. Hopefully this summer will be better; so far it is! There was also a crack in the granite countertop – virtually invisible – and a countertop seam that failed with a bang. The original seam was invisible but the repair certainly is not. I guess there has to be that one “thing” or the review is unbelievable. Crystal Kitchen may not be the cheapest out there, but for us it was worth every penny. I would call them FIRST if we needed it done again. I recommend Crystal Kitchen without reservation. John R.

My wife and I were interesting in a significant remodel of multiple rooms in our beloved Craftsman Home, built in the 30s. While we had an idea of what we wanted, we were hoping someone else could lend their expertise in bringing that vision together in one cohesive plan. It was immediately clear that the people at CK+B had the knowledge, credentials, and enthusiasm to take on our project. The scope of our project included: 1. Complete kitchen remodel 2. Two new bathrooms 3. New Laundry room An enormous benefit to working with Crystal Kitchen + Bath was the quality in their sub-contractors. Every contractor CK+B brought onto the project was communicative, respectful of our space, and most importantly - hard working. My wife and I highly recommend CK+B for projects of any size and scope.

After having CKB redo my small nondescript bathroom into a work of art, I knew I had to have them redo my 1950's kitchen. Designer Amber Elioff drew up 3-4 different floor plans. She could really see outside the box. We agreed on one plan immediately and set the wheels in motion. I chose new cabinetry, countertop, sink, faucet, backsplash, and appliances. Moved stove and refrigerator, added dishwasher, hood vent over cooktop and a cute breakfast nook. Painted walls and woodwork and added new lighting to make it cozy and warm. An absolute transformation. Also, sub-contractors were great to work with. Friendly, clean, very professional. Extremely pleased with CKB as my remodeler.

1956 Kitchen & Master Bath needing total remodel. It seemed so overwhelming to proceed until we went to Crystal Kitchen & Bath Showroom & met our designer. From there to meeting @ our house the time commitment they made to design & plan what we thought we wanted was exactly what we needed. Everyone we encountered from Crystal Kitchen & Bath was truly professional in the scope of the work they did for us, including the at least weekly site visits from the designer, owner & Project manager to keep us informed & up to date on the schedule. Oh the Schedule! It was given to us a couple months in advance & believe it or not was followed to the day. Amazing. This made the Remodel very stress free for us. We felt the crew that came everyday was really involved in the project & treated our home better than anyone we ever had work here. The Owner & Project manager were very easy to work with & really worked hard to make our project the WOW factor we asked for after spending over $300k. So glad we stopped at the Showroom that day, the materials, cabinets, & craftmanship shines thru. The project is really a WOW Factor for our house now.

Jolynn and CKC are a top-notch firm. We have worked with them a number of times, most recently on a kitchen remodel and bath/bed, Rec room addition. They are highly organized, run on schedule (unlike other contractors), and have the experience to lead through complicated projects. I would totally recommend them to anyone I know!

They completed everything and very professionally. The two carpenters stayed overtime to put the bars in the bathroom. Our butler’s pantry is now perfect. Overall, the project started and ended on time and with our input. We hope they stay in business forever!!!!

How often does one hear that renovation projects are tough because contractors are not showing up when they say they will? This couldn’t be farther from the truth with Crystal Kitchen and Bath (CKB), who recently completed a full remodel of our main and ensuite bathrooms. Project Manager Lisa and her crew of superb subcontractors arrived every day and completed the project exactly on schedule. Even talented in house designer Jennie visited on a regular basis, to make sure everything was being done as planned. In addition to Lisa and Jennie, CKB owner Jolynn stayed involved on a regular basis. The bathrooms look like upscale spas and are truly stunning! The tilework, counters, and cabinet design are unique and gorgeous. It’s hard to believe that they were able to make this amazing transformation from our dated 1980’s baths, which had seen better days. Best of all, the new baths will make it possible for us to” age in place”, with a no rise walk in shower and soaking tub that has beautiful grab bars that match the other hardware. You couldn’t find a more talented and ethical company to handle your home renovations. We highly recommend them!

I live in an urban loft and needed a kitchen and bathroom remodel. The bathroom had a stainless steel walk-in shower that was rusting and dangerous. The fixtures were old and the room was dark. The kitchen was even worse and practically non-functional. The footprint was crowded and there was no real counter space. Cabinets were shallow and shelving was not functional. I got four bids and decided to go with Crystal Kitchen and Bath. Amber, my designer, and the whole team were professional and proactive. With other bids, it was more of a sales pitch and less about finding a functional design that would work with my personal aesthetic and my budget. It can be a challenge to do a remodel in a multi-unit condo building in Downtown, but there was no problem we encountered that wasn't easily solved and, best part, the project manager took care of it! The entire team was skilled and professional and I encountered none of the subcontractor issues I experienced with an extensive renovation of my previous home. Highly recommend! I would use them again in a heartbeat if I had anything else to remodel.

We recently worked with Crystal Kitchen and Bath on a complete Kitchen remodel. Our kitchen had not been changed in the 26 years we’ve owned our house and we knew we needed an update. We requested bids from three different remodelers and felt most comfortable with Jolynn and her team at Crystal Kitchen and Bath. Our designer, Mary Maney, took the time to listen to our needs and wants and designed a kitchen that we just love. The initial cost estimates turned out to be very accurate as did their estimate of how long the job would take. The team of construction professionals showed up on time each day and gave us periodic construction updates. The communication we received throughout the construction process was outstanding. We even made a small change to the design mid-project and that was handled quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend Crystal Kitchen and Bath.

After attending a workshop at Crystal Kitchen and Bath on remodeling with aging in mind, I decided to contract with them to finish off our completely unfinished basement. Jolynn, the owner, and Jennifer, the designer, brought my vision of a wine bar/kitchenette, a ¾ bath with integrated handicap features, a sitting area for relaxing and watching TV, as well as a workshop and storage rooms, into fruition. It was designed with the intention that the space could be used for entertaining, relaxing with family, or a suite in which guests could stay. In the future, it could become a mother-in-law apartment or even an Air B & B. Working with Jolynn and every one of her workers was a pleasure. Jolynn is very organized! At the beginning I was given a schedule detailing the entire project. Everything went smoothly and, as they say, according to schedule. I always knew what to expect and when to expect it. Any problems that came up or any changes I requested were taken care of immediately. Communication with all of the people involved was excellent. Being someone who has been involved with a lot of construction work, I have an eye for quality workers and workmanship. That was exhibited in every way. I also have worked with contractors who didn’t listen, argued, didn’t communicate and caused more headaches than they solved. This project was the opposite of that. Now the lower level of our house is beautiful and I only have wonderful memories of the project and the people who worked on it. I highly recommend Crystal Kitchen and Bath if you’re looking for a quality, headache free, project.
