It is always unfortunate when you have a client that is not happy. We at Premier Kitchens pride ourselves in doing our best for all our clients and as a result of that, we have enjoyed a strong referral and repeat business, the fact that we have been in business for 30 years is a testament to that. In spite of our best efforts, we realize there may be those rare occasions that a customer is not 100% satisfied. In this specific case, our contract to provide materials was with the customers contractor, not directly with this client. We did meet with the (contractors) client a few times, but most of our contact was with the contractor and their independent designer that the client also hired. While we normally do the design of our projects, in this case the design (including cabinet configuration and size), product selection and specifications was made by that independent design firm, and our role was to just order the cabinets selected. Cabinets were done for kitchen, linen, baths library & master closet and the only issue that came about was in the master closet- after receiving them, the clients decided not to use them in their closet. Several months later, they decided to re-purpose the cabinets elsewhere and asked for our help in in re-configuring them. The client wanted us to provide the additional material & labor at our expense which we deemed unreasonable since we were not responsible for the original design and sizing. We did offer the materials at cost, but the client still was not happy. Delays in this project resulted from delays in decision making as well as the several layers involved in the decision making process. We have reached out once again to the customer and have not heard back as of now. It is noteworthy that our client of record, the contractor, has been happy with our products and services, and we continue to be a source for their cabinetry.
