Carlo and his team worked closely with us to design and renovate an update to our guest/kid bathroom by removing the old tub and converting it to a tiled shower. The work was clean, efficient, timely and beautiful. We couldn’t be happier. These guys leave no trace and their work is clean and meticulous. We have used them for 4 other renovation/reconstruction projects in our family, and have recommended them to our friends. Price is very reasonable and fair.

BCWest gave us complete satisfaction doing a total remodeling of our home. Working just from our daily instructions they provided exactly what we wanted always to the highest level of professionalism. While it may seem that this too good a review it does come close to our level of satisfaction. All without blueprinters!

We were very, very happy with BC West's work on a gut-remodel bath renovation and would definitely use them again. We had a lot of demands for our remodel but limited space (e.g., we wanted to find space for a washer/dryer), and Carlo spent hours and hours over here designing and planning different layouts. In the end, we got everything we wanted thanks to his ideas. We have a very old house (1847), which always presents its own set of problems, but Carlo knew a lot about the challenges of historic homes. He was able to solve every problem that presented itself. The job was done exactly as we hoped, in the time frame he estimated, and for about the price he estimated. The cost went over the estimate a bit because of two issues related to the condition of the house. When he pulled up the old floor, he found that there were no solid floor joists under half of the bathroom so he had to address that. We also asked for a ceiling height that required him to sister the ceiling rafters to bring things up to code. It was an extra day’s work for the crew. The crew worked together beautifully. They were here every day by 7:30 AM sharp and worked hard until 4. They covered all the floors and stairs with Ram Board and were very careful to clean up every day. The project was done during the winter, and Carlo set up a metal walkway from the dumpster up to the second floor (where the bathroom was) to bring in materials, fixtures, etc. Some snowy days it looked like a luge run, but bad weather didn’t have any effect on the progress of the work. I wanted to use my own electrician, and he was fine with that. They worked well together. His tile guy and cabinetmaker both did excellent work. Carlo is very professional, conscientious, and detail-oriented, with a great eye for design that complements his deep knowledge of home construction. He sent periodic invoice updates that were very detailed and always accurate. Having such a reliable contractor was a new experience! One bonus was that on the last day of the job, they left the place spotless—picked up the Ram Board, washed the floors. I had next to nothing to do but stock the cabinets and hang the shower curtain. We still walk into the bathroom every day and love it as much as we did when it was first finished.

I hired BC West Building Company to do some significant repairs at my house including replacing window sills that were rotting and replacing an outside tile landing. They also built a beautiful staircase and landing to my loft in the barn. Their work is meticulous and the highest quality. I enjoyed having the owners and their employees at my house - a pleasure to work with! They will be doing more work for me in the coming weeks to fix some water damage from this horrible winter.
