Epic Wood Work

Pepe and his team did a truly outstanding job on my kitchen renovation. I had my own designer and countertop source, but Epic handled everything else, from custom cabinets and floor refinishing to plumbing and electrical. They worked around some sourcing issues (totally not their fault) like professionals, and at the end, the price quoted was the price I paid. I'm not sure what else I could have asked from them, and they delivered it all.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! I have to admit I was dreading a kitchen renovation - I have a 30 year old house and so if I was going to renovate it would have to be everything all at one time. Additionally, I was afraid of what we would find when we starting tearing out cabinets to the studs and how a contractor would handle those curve balls. So I did a ton of research and had a handful of quotes. You never really know what you are going to get – but I ultimately landed on Epic because of the reviews and the ease of dealing with the owner Pepe. There were so many things I liked about working with Pepe and his Epic Wood Work team. First off – it was no pressure and no nickel and diming – the quote was the quote. Pepe also had a ton of great suggestions for upgrading the kitchen – new usb outlets, new sink, moving the island. I didn’t think any of the frills were necessary – and he never pushed or pressured. But quite frankly I eventually came to agree and I implemented every suggestion he had The craftsman are excellent – the cabinets are solid wood – excellent quality. The demo went great – even when we removed the soffits and found plumbing and gas lines that needed to be re-piped. I had new cabinets and countertops, new flooring and backsplash done. Each of the craftsman responsible for each section were outstanding. Couldn’t ask for higher quality workmanship. The punch list at the end of the project was completed quickly and to the letter. And finally, the schedule was adhered to really well – a little over 5 weeks from demo to fully complete. There was no overpromising and under-delivering. He was realistic about how long the lead times were, and how long each part of the process would take. Pepe was also very accessible – if I had questions or thoughts I could always reach out and discuss with him. No text, call or email went unanswered. Renovations are a huge deal – I strongly recommend Epic Wood Work – I will use them again for sure!

When choosing a team to help with a remodel, it can sometimes be daunting and difficult to know you're choosing the right team. Luckily, we were able to find Pepe and Epic Wood Work. His team is communicative, reliable, and will do whatever it takes to get the job done on time and correctly. We had a tight timeline due to our wedding in early November and we wanted to have 60+ people over the day after. This only allowed for about a month from demo to completion, including taking out structural beams and needing an engineer to create a new support beam. They supported us through the whole process - giving us recommendations for where to pick tile, counters, appliances, hardware, etc. We could not be happier with how it turned out and that we were able to find people like Pepe and his team. Being able to have a team that you can rely on to the fullest means so much and the fact that their end product is beautiful, high quality, and well made just makes them the perfect team to go with! HIGHLY recommend using Pepe and his team at Epic Wood Work!

After our builder ran away and left us with crooked walls, unfinished cabinets, mismatched countertops, electrical and plumbing nightmares, we were in despair. We started to get quotes with several general contracts and subcontractors but none of them worked out, some were not professional, others were fearful of the "hot mess" that would result from them fixing one thing. One day I found Epic Wood Work and reached out. The same day I received a call and spoke with Pepe, he asked to send me pictures and he was over the next day. After meeting him and discussing the issues, I knew right away that he is the best option for us. He was empathetic, logical, and a great communicator. He gave us good suggestions, thought through things which we had to explain to other contractors. He understood our concerns and found great solutions. We had him start with our kitchen which had the most issues to fix. We are so glad we chose to work with him. Him and his staff were very professional, on time, followed the timeline, gave us a perfect product. He also provided with references for other issues and everyone that we have worked with so far has been just as amazing as Pepe and his team. His staff is hardworking and have excellent craftsmanship. My husband and I are very picky and we couldn't find anything wrong with their work! We can't imagine working with anyone else after experiencing such high quality of work! He is the Restoration Hardware of renovations! Top notch work and top notch customer service! We have referred him to several of our friends!

Pepe and Allan were amazing to work with! From start to finish - they did what they said they were going to do and got the job done right when they said it would be completed. We have worked with several contractors - and the biggest issues seem to be effective communication and scheduling. We had no issues with either with Pepe and Allan and the work was impeccable! We love our new kitchen - and almost compete redo (no structural changes) in just about 7 days start to finish! Amazing! Highly recommend!

Pepe is fantastic! The whole experience start to finish was wonderful. We were always able to text or call him with questions when we needed to. He was very practical with the remodel of our kitchen, and didn't try to oversell us on things we didn't want or need. The estimate was extremely reasonable, and we got more than we thought we could for a budget under 10k. We only had one problem along the way with the backsplash and that particular sub contractor, but when we contacted Pepe, he came out and personally assessed the issue and took care of it ASAP. All work was completed in a timely manor. We felt like despite our project not being the most expensive, we still received the same level of attention and service as larger/expensive projects. This is a credit to Pepe's dedication to his craft, and his passion for quality work.

I want to thank Pepe (Epic Wood Work) and his team for the excellent, EXCELLENT job he did on our kitchen remodel – it turned out just splendid (and I’m picky AF). My background and experience: I am an aircraft design engineer and I will admit that I am often “let down” as my expectations for precision are often very high (and sometimes unrealistic, I admit). After plenty of bad experiences with other contractors, I couldn’t bear the idea of a kitchen gut & full replacement – I was pessimistic about anyone being able to do an attention-to-detail sensitive job for a reasonable amount of money and on time. Pepe came out, listened to my concerns, took measurements and even provided us a 3D rendition of the space (as seen on TV ). He helped us with the layout and had very valuable input on layout, efficiency and kitchen design “no no’s.” Before we knew it, the kitchen was being installed and I couldn’t believe that this project just simply. worked. out. without my intervention!!!!!!! What a concept! I don’t often take the time to write reviews but I feel inclined to do so for Pepe. He’s restored my faith that there ARE still craftsmen out there that WILL do the job correctly and he is one of them. We've hired Pepe from Epic Wood Work to handle our kitchen design and remodel. He showed up for our in house consultation on time. He was very professional and extremely helpful guiding us through designing a kitchen that was stunning and at the same time functional. The crew was extremely courteous and professional through the entire project. They were very clean and organized and the best part was that the project was completed on time and on budget. Amazing! We are so happy with our kitchen and laundry cabinets. Pepe went above and beyond on our kitchen remodel. Pricing (awesome I shopped around). Quality of his cabinets are better than big box stores and others. Pepe worked with us with our design plan. Installation in 2 days. I'm saving the best part for last. Pepe did all this for me while I was going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. He came all the way to Hot Springs Arkansas to make our dreams come true. Thank-you and Bless you Pepe
