Brian Breed and the team at Designscapes were exceptional! The quality of the architectural drawings and the craftsmanship dedicated to the build were unparalleled in excellence. The projects extended from hardscape design and build of stone patios, outdoor fireplaces, a beautiful stone fire pit and most recently a complete rebuild of outdoor stone grill and counter. Truly the best crew ever. On time, at or below estimated cost. Designscapes and Brian Breed are absolutely the team to employ.

After meeting with another landscape design firm, we contacted Designscapes to discuss the landscaping at our new custom home. Holly Terry met with us and we immediately knew that we would be working with her and the team at Designscapes. Holly listened to what my wife and I wanted out of the project and then created a beautiful full lot design for us. We relied upon her expertise in the selection of plants, trees, shrubs, boulders, etc and have been incredibly pleased with the results. In addition to designing the landscape plan, Holly was on site to map out the design in the dirt ( we had several on site meetings with her) and participated along with the crew on “planting day”. Holly saw the project through to the end and beyond! We were so impressed with her and the team at Designscapes, we signed up for the maintenance plan, Christmas light installation, and snow removal service. They do it all and do it well!

Our initial contact with Designscapes Colorado was with Kaitlyn Davis who contacted us soon after we submitted a request online. She scheduled our consultation a little over two weeks after our contact on June 5th - which was no problem. When the designer (Holly Terry) arrived on June 22nd it took less than 20 minutes for her to scope our property and talk with us about what we wanted - we expected more, but I trusted her as the professional. Holly requested we provide her a plot plan - which we supplied prior to her departure. She then stated it would take 3 weeks for her to provide a design and quote. It's been 5 weeks since we meet with Holly; we've attempted to contact her several times via email, the main office and her personal cell, but she has not responded. It's unfortunate this has been our experience. We feel disrespected and disregarded. We contacted Designscapes because we were in desperate need and we waited patiently for a quote and design. If they had no intention on landscaping our property a phone call or email letting us know would have been appreciated. Hopefully we can find a new designer who can landscape our front yard before October.

They got everything done that we needed and even did extra things with out being asked like cleaning up some dirt in the street that had washed down with the rain. Designscapes is great. The entire staff is so helpful. Compared to a lot of their projects, I am sure that our residential plan was not a huge account, but they treated us like we their most important customer. Phil was personally available to help us with every aspect of our project and even went pot and planter shopping with me! Very rare for an owner of a company like Designscapes to be so attentive. They desigend an incredible fireplace and pergola in addtition to all of our landscape and design. The entire project turned out fantastic. We highly recommend them.

We've done a bunch of projects with Designscapes Colorado including an extensive landscape project and a large pool remodel. They are very responsive to any issues and have great subcontractors. The owner is vey good at what he does and is passionate about his work. He helps you to see his vision very clearly. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their vision to come to life. They met and exceeded my expectations.

DesignScapes has provided holiday lighting for us for the past two holiday seasons on a large commercial space, and we recently brought them in for permanent entertainment/ambiance project as well. We bought a new home and the team from Designscapes helped us with the design of our backyard. They drew up a wonderful design that included the waterfall and picked all the beautiful plants that now are in full bloom. Their team of completed our backyard in just a few days!! We were thrilled with the way our backyard looks! They were awesome with follow up and guaranteed all the plants and their work. The next summer we had them come out and relandscape our front yard!!! We would totally recommend them.

After 20+ years, it was time to upgrade and overhaul significant portions of our antiquated, patchwork sprinkler system. Designscapes has performed other landscape work for us, so we asked them to do the sprinkler system work as well. Oscar was in charge of this project and did a magnificent job. He has an extensive knowledge of plant materials and sprinkler systems. Oscar was careful, thorough and meticulous. He matched sprinkler heads and types to the water needs of the plants served. He made sure that all of the planted areas were getting sufficient water coverage. We could not be more pleased with the finished product. Thank you, Oscar, for a great job!

Leveled a backyard patio, concrete patio, plants, rocks, trees put in and removed. We have received many compliments on the quality of the work.

Soil remediation, landscape design and construction over approximately one acre: Boulders, streamed, plants, trees, flowers etc. Exceptional communication, scheduling, workmanship and cleanup - immaculate - very impressive.

Phil and his colleagues designed a beautiful high plains/xeriscape garden for our home in the foothills of Colorado. Both softscape and hardscape design and implementation reveal Designscapes' quality and expertise. Always honest and professional. When doing landscaping remember , Mother Nature has a way of altering and directing your plans!

We're original owners of a "semi-custom" home built in the early 90's. For nearly 20 years we had a cookie-cutter front yard -- bluegrass, one tree, builder front porch. In 2012 -- the hottest summer on record for the Denver area -- we decided to break the mold in the neighborhood and xeriscape the yard. Phil and Designscapes came highly recommended and we now see why. Our yard is no longer cookie-cutter or boring in any way! New driveway, redesigned front porch that is safer and easier to navigate, xeriscape groundcovers that are more beautiful than bluegrass now provide a lovely welcoming entrance to our home. We've added a water feature and seating this summer, along with pots full of flowering annuals. As expected, we had a few plants that didn't make it through the winter, but they were promptly replaced under Designscapes' warranty this summer. I can't recommend a company more highly. I'm sure they aren't the least expensive. I am sure they produced the highest value for our money and I can't wait to do the back yard!
