The team was very thoughtful around the design aspects we wanted to incorporate. The crew that was on site was very professional and more than willing to come back to address any follow-up items. The follow-up and professionalism is difficult to find with any home service providers nowadays and we greatly appreciated what felt like a partnership and cleaning up our landscaping.

GLD Landscape + Design was so excellent to work with. My husband and I are new homeowners and though we love to be outside, we don’t have a green thumb or a good sense of the right plants for this climate. To complicate this slightly more, we are due and expecting this summer. We approached the team in spring with the goal of just having a nice yard that was low maintenance, and accepting given our timeline we wouldn’t get everything we wanted done. They not only hit everything on our list, but they added and improved the design substantially! Being so pregnant and so new to having a yard, it’s pretty easy for me to get stressed and I felt totally at ease during the process. Andrew was kind, punctual, knowledgeable, and was able to take our rough ideas and create something we will cherish for years.

We liked the layout and design of our Japanese garden. It was nice to have experienced people to work with…our backyard is now very peaceful and serene.

Our backyard landscaping was the 2nd time GLD transformed our home through their planting design. We are enjoying not only more beauty and privacy while in our backyard but also the enhanced view we now have outside our windows each time we look outside. GLD is was helpful in choosing various plants, and the trees and shrubbery provide a bird oasis as well. Project stayed was done as predicted in terms of time and budget. Very professional. These guys were terrific! They delivered on everything they promised and exceeded our expectations in most cases. Their selection of plants was perfect in terms of both aesthetics and drought consideration. And Andy and Steve are just great guys— a pleasure to work with both of them.

Wonderful result and extremely professional every step of the way. Our yard was transformed and within the budget we discussed. We loved working with Andy at GLD Landscape and Design. They did really great work redoing a lot of our existing landscape that we weren't happy with. Andy always had great design ideas for both look and practicality. We also had a section of fencing that was really difficult to replace. I had previously gotten several quotes from fence builders who said the job couldn't be done. Andy and his contractor partner Steve were up for the task and got it done the exact way we wanted it. We plan on working with Andy and Steve in the future. We also hired them for weekly gardening services, which has also been great. We highly recommend.

GLD did a great job on my narrow canyon backyard. I had a general idea of what I wanted but needed help on the details. They were great and fast coming up with ideas and a game plan. I did a combination of decomposed granite, turf, and perenials. In addition, they also installed new lighting and drip watering system. Andrew and Steve were friendly, and visited the site frequently to supervise and check on the work being done. Their workers are full-time employees and not random contractors; so they know well who is working for them.

We had a great experience with Andy and Steve. They translated our vision into a renovation that fit our budget and turned out looking exactly how we envisioned. They were knowledgeable and approachable and their team did really good quality work. We highly recommend working with them!

We had a great run with Andy and GLD. Andy prepared a detailed line item cost estimate that made it easy to decide on scope. His team started when he said they would and finished on time and on budget. Andy's crew was super diligent, polite and hard working. We really liked that he paused work when we hit a crazy hot streak in October; he was worried about the impact on his crew. And the proof is in the pudding; all of our neighbors stop to comment on how much they like the finished product...so do we!

I stumbled upon GLD by accident, but I can’t tell you enough how happy we are! Andy and his team are amazing. He contacted me immediately, came out to look at the property that week, and by the end of the following week the crews were getting started, all during the pandemic! He took our ideas and made it better than we could of even imagined. Our front and rear yards are beautiful, our own private oasis, much needed in this scary time we are in.

Mr. Epstein and staff ran a tight ship. They came, saw and conquered efficiently, cleanly and quickly. He is a great listener and was able to incorporate your color 'likes' and plant 'likes' into the final project. As a professional landscaper, He did his best to work within my tight budget and accommodated. I love his plant choices and that 90% of what he suggested was spot on. The project GLD was hired for was for my front yard. If we can agree on the budget for the back yard, he will also be hired to clean up a prior gardener's maintenance mess.
