Worked with Tiger Lily Landscapes almost 6 months ago, wanted to write a review now as we are absolutely loving the full landscaping that the team did. They were truly professionals and I would come back for other projects in the future.

This is our second project with Sareena and Tiger Lily, and we were again left marveling at her ability to design and execute. For this project, we asked for help re-modeling and renovating our back deck and screened-in porch. The end result is not only visually stunning but also incredibly secure. We now have a two-level deck that leads onto a patio that Sareena developed for our first project (a complete redesign of our back yard and front yard). In addition to the structural flow, there is a flow with the colors of our house. The craftsmanship is excellent. Sareena’s team from Outlast also fit the model of “measure twice, cut once” to a T. They were also excellent at communicating with us about permits and design updates. We cannot recommend Tiger Lily highly enough and we will definitely reach back out to Sareena for our next project!

Sareena is a visionary landscaper. We have a steep front slope that we have dangerously mowed for 29 years - and sought a change to beautify and reduce injury potential. Sareena’s design for our newly planted hillside - which included stonework - is stunning. Every time I am out weeding (or just admiring) a neighbor stops to compliment the holistic array of plants, styled to bloom and/or provide color in every season. We are very grateful for Sareena’s skill, patience, and dedication. Her passion for plants and landscape design is on full display in our hillside garden.

Great experience with Tiger Lily and Sareena. The backyard of our DC rowhouse had been landscaped about 15 years ago but had become overgrown and cluttered with random plantings. Sareena had a lot of ideas on how to open it up and improve it both visually and to make it easier to use the space. She designed overall landscaping, specific plantings, a new fence and also helped us with replacing the deck and the driveway. She's easy to work with, professional, and has clearly been doing this a long time and understands landscape and garden design. Highly recommend.

Sareena designed and managed a large-scale project for us, including building new fencing, deck, tall retaining walls, a permeable paver driveway, irrigation/water management, and landscaping. She was lovely to work with, attentive to our design requests, and the end result is a beautiful and functional space that is even better than we expected. She selected a very professional contractor and managed the project, including selecting materials, which was a great help in getting the many details right given the scale of the project. Highly recommend!

Sareena had a wonderfully artistic yet functional vision for our back patio & parking area. We wanted to transform the space into something a little less utilitarian and a little more whimsical and pretty, and Sareena's plan did just that! She added in some curved lines and tasteful pattern into the paver design, added just the right number of low maintenance plants and trees, understated lighting, and created a useful and lovely space. In addition to the design, we were particularly delighted by her attention to detail and her responsiveness, including following up with multiple sub-contractors and keeping us informed of all progress on a near daily basis. We were also impressed with how quickly this project was finished, including some permitting in a historic district! Working with Sareena/Tiger Lily was a pleasure and I would recommend her to anyone trying to improve their outdoor space!

I am thrilled to have found Sareena and her team at Tiger Lily Landsapes to redesign and build my new outdoor living space in back of my NE DC row house. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. Sareena is a true visionary—I had some vague ideas, but I could not have imagined the way she transformed my small, shabby deck, broken-concrete driveway, and tiny shed into a stunning, architecturally interesting, and much more functional living space that she designed and implemented together with her highly professional, competent, and responsive construction crew. They were here every day until the job was completed. I now have a much larger, beautiful deck with several seating areas, a beautiful garden, with plants and flowers that Sareena carefully chose to bloom at different times of the year and enclosed behind a lovely privacy fence; several trees that are already changing colors and giving shade to the deck, and a beautifully paved parking area across the width of my property where two cars can be parked next to each other rather than one in front of the other. I also now have a spacious new shed! And Sareena was sensitive to my request to ensure that the feral kitties also had their living areas incorporated into the design. It was a great pleasure to work with Sareena, and I highly recommend her for any project involving transformation of the outdoor living space. Thank you, Tiger Lily!

Emine and the crew did a fantastic job on our beautiful backyard project. There was a last minute hiccup which was handled with stride - everyone involved had fantastic communication and customer service. We cannot wait to work with her again.

Tiger Lily Landscapes transformed our yard from a tired, muddy, unwelcoming space to a green, easy-to-maintain oasis. We're delighted with the work Sareena did to design our "make-over," replacing the patio, plantings, lawn, and fence in the back and modernizing the landscaping in the front. Her delicate lighting and specials touches, such as a sitting wall, make the new spaces special. I highly recommend Tiger Lily. Sareena was engaged from the moment of first contact to help us realize our vision, within our budget, with a minimum of disruption. It is clear she and her team can tackle just about any project and produce and elegant result.

We worked with Sareena on a complete yard redesign and installation. She was incredibly patient through the design process and responsive to my very specific opinions about plants and materials, coming up with a design that was beautiful and maximized our limited yard space. I particularly appreciated that she incorporated some unusual design elements and plants in response to our requests. Sareena also effectively managed the installation, making sure all of the work was up to her standards. She was communicative and responsive through both the design and installation phases. Through a mix of texts, calls, emails, and site visits, she was in frequent contact with updates, suggestions, and proposed solutions to address the inevitable minor issues that came up. The whole experience was a very positive one, our whole family loves spending time in the yard, and we get tons of compliments on it!

We worked with Emine to design and create an entirely new backyard. She designed a wrap around flagstone patio and landscaped a sloping yard into a wilderness wonderland. It was a complicated task due to drainage/runoff issues, winter weather and Covid supply delays. Not only did Emine provide a wonderful design eye, she was the consummate professional, reliable with good communication skills thought out the project. Always willing to explain the current status, what our options and costs would be, she made sure the job was finished according to plan and on time. The pictures reflect early plantings and were taken on a rainny day, but will give you a taste of what we expect will be a garden of Eden. We are thrilled and now plan to move to the front yard! It is so wonderful to finally get rid of grass.

I am thrilled with my landscape design and installation from Tiger Lily Landscapes! Sareena is incredibly talented. I had no idea what I was looking for when I called. I had waited years, overwhelmed by the choice of plants and designs. Sareena asked me the right questions and created a thoughtful plan. She turned my overgrown lawn into a beautiful, serene garden.
