Hunter Douglas

We are now a year and a half waiting for our last Hunter Douglas blind. We fully paid for all the blinds but one was not installed. The designer stopped responding to us. So frustrating.

I had the best experience with customer support. Jeffrey helped me figure out what clip I needed in order to replace a broken one holding my blinds (for more than 15 years). He sent me new clips - complimentary, and when I needed to remove my old blind, I wasn't sure how to do it without breaking the remaining clips. I searched videos online but couldn't find any that helped. I emailed Jeffrey and responded quickly, explaining how to do it. I couldn't be more appreciative for his assistance. Hunter Douglas has amazing Customer Support!

I have 9 sihoutte motorized powerview blinds in my great room. They look great but they are terribly unreliable. I think I’ve now had a service call on every blind, and for some of them I’m on my third call out, and at $75 a visit that’s getting expensive. I suspect the problem is that this technology just doesn’t work on large blinds. In the room above this I have motorized blinds from another manufacturer that we are older and were cheaper and they haven’t failed once.

We have had mostly Hunter Douglas blinds in our home since it was built in 1997, including some custom blinds for architectural windows. The Hunter Douglas brand have been hands down the best quality of any that we have had. The reason for the review now is that we just had a minor issue with the top down / bottom up shades we purchased for the master bathroom a few years ago. We contacted Hunter Douglas support and I have to say I have been awestruck by the level of service we have received. I worked with Mark Small in the consumer support department and I have been incredibly impressed! I got prompt resolution to our issue and follow up by Mark via both phone and email to keep me up to date on the status throughout the process. I haven't been this impressed with a company since I needed parts for my 20 year old Moen faucets and they sent them for free! Way to go Hunter Douglas, you definitely have a customer for life here!! We recently installed PowerView shades in the main rooms of our home, and custom (non-motorized) in the bedrooms. The quality is outstanding and being able to control raising and lowering the shades remotely brings peace of mind when we're out of town, and convenience when we're at home. We have the shades timed to rise with our alarm clocks! I expected the quality to be good because that's HD's reputation, but I wasn't expecting the material itself to be as beautiful as it is. I'd definitely recommend Hunter Douglas products above any other type of window covering.

I have dealt with many other companies, and Hunter Douglas provides the best quality and service combined. The functionality and style is quite impressive.
