Outdoor/landscape lighting is a design in and of itself. The object is to highlight areas of traffic (Garage and front entry) as well as aesthetically. I would add some sconces or recessed cans at your garage doors. Additionally the single sconce above your entry looks out of place. I would either add two sconces on each sode of the opening and possible add something inside the recess. Lastly, I would add landscape lighting in the front to highlight your house.

Start with a half dozen solar lights that you can direct upward from the foundation beds. They're about $5 each. Move them around til you get the look you want. Then install new permanent lights.

You can also use small solar lights temporarily on the garage. The solar panels are separate from the lights themselves. After you get them where you want them, have an electrician install permanent new lights.
