Has anyone used NuCore vinyl planking?
Comments (85)We bought NuCore after reading positive reviews (at the time) and later found it to be complete garbage. We have to redo our floors after less than a year later. This is the only flooring product I have found where you can break off the locking mechanism with one finger. Floor and Decore says this is normal and that you have to install it mroe gently. The locking part of the flooring is coming apart all over the house. I would strongly advise to get almost any other product on the market over this garbage. Don't be the next vicrom of Floor and Decore. I will never buy another product from this company after getting screwed on this defective product and they will find any reason to void your warranty. If your buying it just know there is no actual warranty. Even the inspector that came out sid they never end up giving anyone a warranty. I'm sure the installation wasn't perfect, we did have it professionally installed but I wouldn't risk anything on this product again. Waste of over $6000. If anyone starts a class action lawsuit please message me....See MoreNeed your opinion...which Provenza LVT do you like better?
Comments (166)I did an out of state remodel. Don't have much to offer. If you know anyone in the town you're remodeling in, give them a call; that's what we did. Once we got a name, we checked the state's website for complaints/license problems, etc. We also checked Angie's List. Angie's List has changed alot since we did the out of state remodel so I'm not sure how reliable it is anymore. They're more about getting fees of contractors than they were when we used them ....See MoreProvenza LVP Trailblazer or Wild Applause
Comments (1)I find photos of the flooring as for reviews it sometimes takes time for something new to have reviews , I am not sure if these are new .There are reviews for Pronveza flooring so maybe at least read those to get an idea of the company and of course check the BBB...See MoreLVP - Coretec. Mohawk Revwood Plus and Du Chateau LVP
Comments (10)Thank you for the information. I have been researching mostly Coretec until I walked in to a store that did not sell that product. They did say Coretec has issues sometimes with the edges (that snap together) breaking or not fitting correctly. The owner steered my to Du Chateau, which by the name, you know it is pricey. She also let me take the Mohawk Revwood Plus home, that is of course, Laminate and not LVP. There was some discussion on another thread that the laminate definitely has a "hollow" sound when walking on it. That scares me :( I brought 2 HEAVY planks home but the cost difference for what I need in total sq. ft. is significant. Does anyone have opinions about Du Chateau? I do like the Coretec (specifically Calypso). I am tired of looking, but am reluctant to make a decision without exhaustive research. Any and ALL opinions are so very welcome at this point. I need to decide. Thank you...See MoreHU-29917913776
