Hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day. To me, it does not matter if you are married, single or in a relationship. Love goes beyond romantic emotions.

I made smoked / sous vide'd lamb chops for tonight. The lamb chops turned out perfect. But I can't take credit for my cooking skills. It was all done by the SV machine.

Yep! If nothing else, I love myself. Or at least, I'm trying to!!!

Kiddo and I cooked something together. Which I think is a good way to love each other. Baked wings. Chicken wings, with a bit of flour, cornstarch and seasoning. It was Cajun seasoning mixed with harissa and garlic powder and salt. It was nice to do something together. Love. 💕

Thanks, DCarch, and Happy Valentine's Day right back at you. What are the orange hearts? Sweet potato or squash? Or some kind of fruit?

Here we celebrated by watching Elery's grandson play freshman basketball. We shared a concession stand popcorn, though, LOL. It was nice to get out and go somewhere and we were together, so that's good enough for me. What more could I possibly want than some time spent with my favorite guy?

Annie, I saw a gigantic carrot in the store. Bought it and decided to carve it. Actually very easy and quick. The leftover from carving became jucie.

DH and I are together 49 years this summer (45 married) Don't usually do Valentines Day.

Had relatives over for sending off some ashes. Hubby went across the street (Grocery Outlet) and found a heart shaped steak for a reasonable price! We had some crab in the freezer, so had turf and surf along with salad and french bread!

Went to Taco Tuesday with a group of friends. I thought they would cancel to spend the day with their main squeeze, but Taco Tuesday I guess trumps love. Lol.
