I’m not sure I’m understanding your mention of the island color matching the exterior color. Maxi Teal doesn’t look like it was used on the siding, and your last sentence says you can't find what color it is. This photo shows a comparison with a Benjamin Moore color. It’s not an exact match, but appears much closer than the Maxi Teal. I would rethink putting stone on the back of the island. There was a fairly recent thread from another poster who put stone on the back of the island, but ended up taking it off as it looked too heavy and out of place.

We wanted more green than blue in the color, but the maxi teal paint isn't the same color as that SW photo of it, It's darker in person. We don't want an exact match to the blue-ish color in the inspo pic.

I'm worried about the teal not looking good with the backsplash, mostly.

As far as the stone, my husband had it on the front of his old island and we liked it.

I don't think the travertine backsplash is a good pairing with the countertop but might just be the lighting in the photos.

A less saturated (not darker, but more complex) teal color would also help go with the stone.

So you have not see all these finishes in person and are just going off pictures? I would want to see samples in person.

We stuck with our color choices except the cabinet color, which we changed to SW Beach House 7518. I'm waiting for the unveiling of the vent hood and island, if I hate it I'll get them to repaint the hood to the cabinet color.

I love this choice. It’s very versatile and looks great with everything.
