Will ash and/or mulberry trees affect established junipers?

Hi all,
Will Arizona Ash trees or white mulberry (Morus alba) trees within 20 feet affect / kill mature alligator juniper and one-seed junipers? Ie will the deep taproot of the junipers override the water hungry ash and mulberry root systems? For context, the terrain is high desert New Mexico, alkaline and clay soil, 16 inches of rain annually.

Other than perhaps generating too much shade in such close proximity to the junipers, neither the ash or the mulberry are likely to cause any concerns. Established trees will easily outcompete most other newly planted species (neither of which you propose are aggressive water seekers anyway).
