Koot, I assume that since stucco is concrete (cement and sand is concrete) the effect would be akin to that of any stained concrete. So it would have kind of a watercolor effect, with some variation in depth of color. What would make me nervous about it is that concrete stain is acid, and reacts with the alkaline cement in concrete. I think that it would require very careful application to vertical surfaces.

I referred in a post on Nov. 12th about watching elastomeric paint being applied to a neighbor's house, and the painters finishing the job faster than others using standard exterior paint. Well, this week I noticed some of that paint is looking a bit patchy. Bet the homeowner won't be too happy if he ends up with a patchy finish after choosing elastomeric paint!

I live in a year round sunny climate very close to a beach - but not on the beach. I have the underground pool, sandy white cool deck, palm & banana trees with grassy bushes. But no beach. How do I create this beach effect in my (tall white fenced) back yard, preferably with sand?
