I would never recommend a sunken tub. I always recommend a tub with a wide enough ledge or deck so you can sit on the edge & swing your legs in. And grab bars available. If you do a walk in tub, be sure to have grab bars and a step & tub floor surface that is non-slip.

In most all of the examples, number 10 is the notable exception, the sunken tub is full of right angles and they do not look comfortable!
