Contemporary Asian influenced furniture and furnishings were selected to incorporate the client’s antique oriental rugs, African artifacts and collection of Asian and Pacific Art.


Mahogany posts frame black screens to create a shoji style porch. Pergola beyond is made from aluminum channel. Floor is limestone (salvaged from an Apple store).

The driftwood mirror in Shine’s master bathroom was originally intended for the outside space seen here. Shine had to move it and replace it with a metal mirror to avoid insects from getting into the driftwood. “I find that the metal mirror is a much better idea for the outside space,” says Shine.


This beautiful screened in porch was handcrafted from Western Red Cedar.
