Custom showers like these are available through any reputable interior glass company. I would have done the side-lite panel without the u-channel though to make it truly frameless.

The glass door in the picture looks great. How thick is it and how would you install it? Seeing that is giving me ideas about maybe replacing my old glass door for a clearer one. http://www.guardianwindowsanddoors.com

Love your bathroom. II am having our master bath remodeled and my shower is going to have flat cut honey onyx stones on the floor. They have asked whether I want a matte penetrating sealer or glossy. What did you use and do you think a glossy finish would be too slippery? I have hard water and thought glossy would be better plus bring out of colors of the stone but don't know if it would make it too slippery.

We have found that, with the pebble mosaics, there is sufficient grout to provide traction for your feet regardless of whether the pebbles are glossy or matte.

    Plumbed Elegance

It is rare to find bathroom faucets in solid stainless steel. Most of the time, they are made of brass and then they have either a brushed nickel or stainless steel finish. I'm not saying that solid stainless doesn't exist in the bathroom, but most faucets described as stainless steel are usually a finish that looks like stainless over brass. And this is a fine standard, by the way.

Less expensive fixtures have lots of plastic with a finish melted over a plastic plate.

Thank you for your question. The shower stall is essentially 42" x 42".

What brand is the shower door?

We have seen it done both ways. In either case, strapping or blocking is required within the framed wall.

Hello and thank you for your question. This is a custom milled tongue and groove boarding that we call "nickel-gap". When the boards are fitted together a gap is left between each board that is about the width of a nickel.

I have flat cut honey onyx stones on the floor of my shower and it is very comfortable to stand on and it looks fabulous. My husband didn't want a pebble floor either but he really likes the flat cut stones as you don't even think about the stone floor even though we were used to a tile floor.

Salvaged doors can easily be hung as pocket doors. They were common in Victorian homes.

While all the doors in my home will be painted white, there's something inherently beautiful about natural wood. Here, the horizontal panels show off the grain.

Notice that in this bathroom, if the door had been a swinging type, it would bang into the tub. The pocket door was the perfect solution here.
