What was the brand & color of the gray paint on cabinets?

  • PRO
    thebuilderdepot

It is Bianco Carrara. The tile is longer than a 3x6". Most likely a 3x8" or the more popular 4x12".

We have a lot of room scenes for picking out the exact size that suits your needs.

This is a picture I took for a customer ordering 220/SF of the $8.00 a Sq.Ft. (for 2016) above is 4x12" Bianco Carrara "C" Grade. It is whiter than the "CD" Grade on this wall. It also has less variation between tiles.

Equally you may like variation. So consider one of the other collections we offer. We have 3 million square feet in stock and hundreds of lots, request pictures, give us a call, talk on the chat make sure that lot is what you are looking for.

We are ecommerce when you need it and people when you want more (unlike Amazon, we are experts in all the products we sell). We are not just an online "marketplace for anyone" we are focused in our specific area.

Carrara Venato 4x12" is $8.00 a Square Foot. This is a whiter stone with minimal veining. Calacatta White!

Here is our Bianco Carrara 3x6" on Atlanta Home Magazine Kitchen Makeover this is the Sept issue. Bianco Carrara 3x6" is $7.50 a Sq.Ft (again these are 2016 prices is maybe the same in 2017).

Bianco Carrara Collection and a few of the Subway Tiles we offer. They are in both Honed and Polished (that is why they duplicate).

Carrara Bianco 4x12" Honed Subway Tile for $8.00 a Square Foot as of 2016 (you can see the pricing and the availability above or simply order a sample).

There are a lot of choices in the market today from the classic brick and mortar sample board process (but I have never really truly understood the sample boards, as the products change by each lot, which is about 720/SF so how does a sample board from 12 months ago actually help? The quarry or supplier is on the other side, the look has changed. Another question for another time).

There are significant weaknesses and cost implications to buying through the the "old method". We cover them best we can here. But the new method is well...... new! And new is well....... worrying! As it is new...... Probably like when the car first came along. How can you be sure what they are showing.... is what you get? These are questions I would have as a consumer. (I like to think about my family and parents, how can I create the best system for them). We will answer some of them right up front, this is the same advice I would give a family member:

#1. Buy from a Google Trusted Store. You probably found the product on Google. Google is the only store that cannot as far as we have seen be manipulated or cherry picked for positive reviews. So that is the best system out there. Sure some competitors will buy and give you 1 star or 2 stars, but the majority will come through as genuine. Equally Google is pretty big with a Market Cap of just over $500 Billion, they are not going to endorse any company but the very best.

#2. Ensure they have an up-to-date blog. The blog should include room scenes like this one: http://site.thebuilderdepot.com/blog/ (you can see room scenes on the far right. You have to sell maybe 500 bathrooms to get 1 picture sent back to you. So a lot of nice room scenes is going to indicate this is a serious company.

#3. Ensure that they can send you pictures prior to shipping. Samples are great it gives you an idea. But pictures of the product just before it ships, or of the "lot" you are getting. But more importantly, like the blog will show you is that the people you are talking to are not shipping through a 3rd party. You need to speak Monday to Friday or email the very people who are touching, seeing and packing your product. It allows collections to be put together. Like this Venato Carrara 3x6" below you can see the Carrara Venato 3x6" $7.00 Sq.Ft. matched up to bullnose and 6x12". It gives you 80+ choices of matching products.

#4. Ensure they are shipping it not a 3rd party. The last thing you need are people in an office in NYC all in nice Tech offices, with no contact with your product shipping from their warehouses in Tennessee or Texas. Somethings need to be done "Old School" and lot matching it is!

#5. Make sure the site has some information. About them. Where they came from and how they came to be. You should know who you are buying from. This is just an example of an "about us" page.

#6. Make sure they have worked with some bloggers independently. So they can order and review the product, show before and after pictures. Like this incredible Venato Carrara 4x12" Honed Backsplash reveal.

Just cover yourself. This is how I would advise my friends and family to buy online. So we created it to work just like this.

    Carrara Venato 3x6" Subway Tile Honed only $7.00 a Sq.Ft. for 2016.

Carrara Venato 4x12" Subway Tile Honed Marble Tile $8.00 a Sq.Ft.

This is Bianco Carrara the base is a little darker to Venato. This is a wide beveled 3x6" looks nice flat and normal and incredible polished beveled picture above $8.95 a Square Foot (all prices here are valid thru 2016).

Carrara Bianco 100% Italian Marble. This customer used 3x6" a Pencil Trim and 8x16". This is where not operating a 3PL (or third party logistics system) is a challenge. As before we shipped this order we have 10-15 emails, pictures, lot selection and matching. The 3x6" Italian Marble is $7.50 a Square Foot.

This backsplash is out Carrara Venato Product displayed is in this amazing kitchen reveal: https://thebuilderdepot.wordpress.com/2015/11/26/carrara-venato-4x12-in-an-amazing-blog-reveal/

Choices.... Over 80 different products that we can match in the Bianco Carrara Collection.

With over two million square feet and the largest selection of white marble in the USA at The Builder Depot.

But please remember buying online is not for everyone. Sometimes doing research at the brick and mortar is a good first step. You do not have to buy but they can be a wealth of knowledge to start your dream 5 star bathroom retreat.

You do not need to do it. But it is a good idea to take all the advantages that a well run store offers, and if that is a $1,000 protection by Google then a Google trusted store offers that protection. You can read our hundreds of reviews here, yes UPS let's us down now and again so please do not book installers before the product arrives.

Prices valid thru 2016. Spelling and Grammatical errors on here? You betcha. It is late and I am writing this blog with no interest whatsoever other than to help the consumer. I could pay copywriters, but then that is "Cost" and that has to be covered through the product. This is the only way costs are recovered, product cost. I do not think that is fair, so you ignore my spelling and grammar and we'll keep the price down :) A partnership!

Not All Carrara Bianco is equal. When buying Carrara you just have to make sure to get pictures or samples before you buy. Buying online offers some huge financial advantages, but before you do ensure you buy a sample or at the very least get a picture before it ships.

Thebuilderdepot.com stock over one million square feet of Carrara Bianco in the USA all our 12x12" is 'C' grade and available in Honed and Polished for $8.00 a Square Foot. Attached is a picture showing the variation in lots.

Not all Carrara Bianco is the same. This is an example of the variation that there is within Carrara Bianco. You can get from the cheaper end a poor CD grade and then more expensive the 'C' grade. We offer 'C' grade Italian marble for $8.00 a square foot. The difference is in the clarity of veining and the whiter base.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

isabella_max
Janell Beals - House of Fifty added this to How to Get Your Vanity Lighting RightDec 15, 2015

Vanity Lighting TipsConsider a dual sconce for large vanities. To avoid dark spots at a long vanity, consider mounting a dual sconce in the center with single sconces at the outer edges of the mirrors and vanity.Avoid asymmetrical lighting. Placing a fixture on just one side of a mirror will create uneven illumination and make grooming difficult.Skip recessed ceiling fixtures over the sink. This can cast shadows on the face. If recessed lights at the sink area are desired or already in place, consider putting them on a different switch from the task lighting for more control over the lighting plan.Add supplemental lighting if necessary. If the bathroom is small, sconces may illuminate the entire room. In larger bathrooms, light from additional sources, such as recessed lights and ceiling fixtures, will be necessary for adequate general lighting.
