Would you recommend that I paint my entire dining room, which has cherry furniture, beige carpet and white ceiling this color or should I add an accent wall?

What actual type of paint was used on the door? What sheen? What grade of paint? I have had my doors that are very similar primed and sprayed with a sherwin williams Pro Mar 200 in semi gloss and without really any traffic the doors are starting to look really uneven and smudges won't clean off with any simple recommended cleaners or even water. I think they are going to have to be sprayed and was just curious because your door look immaculate. Thanks!

The paint is a warm beige from Benjamin Moore called "Richmond Bisque". It is one of my favorites.

Accent walls are rarely the right answer for a cohesive design.

They work great on TV when the camera is only getting the narrow shot...
...but in real life, you're not looking in one direction only - You're turning your head and walking in different directions and most often you're not seeing that accent wall.

Even worse are accent walls that have no connection to other elements in the room - in this room, the red wall is liked to the red upholstery in the chairs and even the red bowl on the kitchen counter. Imagine if the chair fabrics were plain beige and the bowl was white - The wall wouldn't relate to anything else in the scene and it would stick out like a sore thumb.

Black or deep brown painted doors keep a contemporary space looking clean and chic. In this space there are no bright-white stark-feeling moments. To get a fine finish, take your time and prep well.
