What is the recommended counter top treatment for a bathroom? what do you use to keep it protected from the moisture?

I went to a local saw mill. The gentleman cut me a beautiful piece and finished with a resin. It is beautiful. Note, I didn't find a sink first..so then had to find a sink to fit the counter. I'd go the other way, find your sink..then cut the counter.

Just a thought. Maybe depending on the wood, but kiln dried wood treated with a bug killer is also not a bad idea to look into.

You could get both porcelain or natural stone that would look very similar. Try your local tile suppliers to see what options work for you budget.

    Good luck!

I believe this is a fabric textured porcelain mosaic by Eleganza called Fabrique 1x4 mosaic in color, silk. You can purchase at our showroom. Surprisingly it's only $11.99/SF plus shipping & handling.

The basin is very similar to the marblo mojo rectangular basin, it is available in a few sizes and also has a square and oval version (my favourite) they are a gloss or matte finish solid surface. here is the link http://www.marblo.com.au/products/mojo-

    Hi Jodie
I saw that you used a marine grade varnish. I'm wondering if you have any feedback on how that is holding up with the splash from the sink?
    It's really striking.
