This is a very professional company. I called for estimate they were informative about what their company does. I explained my budget and how much I can spend and they gave me a great price and a great package deal. Bob Tuthill is a creative architect who is a true professional. He came up with a great plan for our remodel, helped to solve design problems we ran into during the coarse of the project and also helped with decorating suggestions! Bob always responded in a timely manner and was happy to check on our progress. Great experience!

We have built over 15 Tuthill Homes over the last 18 years. The first was in 1990. Bob is a dedicated design professional who is active throughout the project. His clients are consistently happy as he is passionate about personally visiting his jobs and has an amazing design eye. Bob will come to the site unannounced often to check on details. He is solution oriented and can turn a misunderstanding into a positive. His style ranges from traditional to contemporary and everything in between. We are strictly custom builders so we serve the same client. Its always a pleasure to team up with Bob on a project and the result is a happy client.

We have built multiple homes with architects starting with a blank piece of paper. That can be a test on the nerves or a great experience. With Bob and his team we had the great experience. While my wife and I thought we knew what we wanted and had multiple pictures to show Bob he was still able to bring to life more than we anticipated. Our dream of a Key West/ West Indies style was acheived and included maximizing our view of 100 feet on the water, raising 1/3 of the pool 5 feet to establish a flowing infinity edge to enhance the view and creating an attractive and functional outdoor living area to further enjoy the view. Working with Bob was a pleasureand we learned to value his opinion highly. He stayed with us through the build process regularly visiting the property to assure that construction was proceeding as designed. I can't imagine building this remotely (which is what we had to do) without Bob's help. When we had questions or issues he was our guy on the front line and consistanly worked issues to a positive conclusion. We could not recommend him more highly.

I hired Bob Tuthill for a complete renovation of a Fort Lauderdale point lot surrounded 270 degrees by the ICW and canals. The renovation needed to keep the foot print of the old house's (build in 1950), to preserve grandfathered set backs. He designed a two story house with Key West / Bahamian venacular ensuring the latest hurricane protection, energy efficiency while maintaining maximum light. He drove to Key West, spent time there and brought back a better understanding of my needs and sensabilities. He has excelllent vision and insight. A true artist. He is very easy to work with, an excellent listener and able to interpret the clients needs. Additionally, he is so well known my permiting and building inspectors that he is able to expidite the permiting process. He works very well with general contractors and sub-contractors. Always sensative to costs, he works diligently to manage costs, stay within budget and time frame for completion. His billing and fees are reasonable and very competitive Having done 9 new house contruction or renovations, Bob Tuthill is one of the very best architects I have worked with. We were building our dream home in Fort Lauderdale--finally. We interviewed several architectural firms prior to deciding on Tuthill Architecture. The decision was easy. Bob is very even-keeled, and if you've ever built a home before, you'll understand why this is an absolute requirement in an architect. He asked us all the right questions, and even came out to our current home at the time to take measurements and compare them to what he had envisioned for the new home. He helped us along every step of the way during the design process as well as the building process. He drove out to the property unannounced on many occasions just to make sure the builder was on track. Did we have building issues along the way? Of course, but he was there to help our builder figure out exactly how to manage things. That was priceless! I wholeheartedly recommend Tuthill Architecture if you're thinking about building a new home. I would hire them again in a second!
