About Us

C. Martino: Contemporary Artist San Diego Southern California artist C.Martino is a closet conceptualist using the tools and techniques of contemporary narrative painting and sculpture to create provocative works that seek to transform the mundane into the magical in an increasingly generic world of mini malls, master planned communities and bad reality tv. From his studio in San Diego, Martino creates a diverse body of provocative contemporary work defined by its conceptual rigor, thematic resonance and an adventurous post modern aesthetic. His work hangs in public venues and private collections throughout the Southern California region, from coast-to- coast, Europe, and beyond.

Services Provided

Artist-direct contemporary art for public and private spaces. Existing and commissioned/custom pieces availabel for purchase and rental programs. Residential + commercial. Characterized by a powerfully expressive style communicated using a try unique modern sensibility, Martino's work varies along the continuum from near abstraction to a stylized illustrative form depending on the mood, intent and character of the piece in question.
