This was my first time purchasing a custom piece of furniture so I did my due diligence about carpenters in the SD area. After chatting with a dozen or so of them via email and phone, I went with Andrew because of his clear passion for his work, positive attitude, responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to morph my original idea into something utterly gorgeous and unexpected. What started out as a request for a more standard walnut dresser morphed into the bacote beauty that you see in the attached picture. Thanks Andrew and Blake for an unforgettable journey; this wood box brings a smile to my face every time I see it.”

“The Look and Feel has done a tremendous job on a variety of projects around the house. I am constantly getting compliments on my African Mahogany kitchen cabinets, quarter sewn White Oak cabinets in the dining room, a live edge foyer table with vintage sewing machine legs, as well as a few other projects. The work is always done to the highest standards, the finishes are smooth and lasting. The kitchen cupboards are 13 years old and look new, the finish has no signs of wear which is unheard of today. Currently they are building me a 9 foot long Pecan wood table with Black Walnut legs and a bench of 5 feet. I cannot say enough about Ameer and Sam, they are the real deal. I highly recommend them for building your next family heirloom.”
