I have worked on more than one job with Hartman Baldwin, and they have always established meaningful goals and met those objectives in a timely manner. Hartman/Baldwin remodeled my kitchen, created a laundry room from an existing bedroom and created and extended a hallway using part of the Sq footage from the new laundry room. Genius architects, construction workers who worked very well and read my construction plans without any problems. When I decided to remove 2 west-facing French windows and replace them with a wall to minimize the sunlight in my new kitchen, it added time to the project, but was worth the change. I love my remodeled kitchen, new laundry room and easier access to my 3rd bedroom with the extended hallway.

Hartman Baldwin completed an extensive "refresh" of our 1938 vintage home. The most significant components of the project included new floor-to-ceiling glass sliders that open the living room onto a new veranda, patio and koi pond, replacement of the roof that also involved changing the roof line to create a cover over the new veranda, a new breezeway connecting the house to the garage, new drainage system from the patio, new walkways and other hardscaping. Along with the roof, a thermal barrier and fireproofing was added as well new attic insulation, heating and air conditioning. On the interior the changes were largely cosmetic but involved nearly every room in the house. The work included the replacement of old paneling in two rooms with new drywall, removal of the "popcorn" ceiling in the living room, new closet doors, new moldings, extensive painting, refinished hardwood floors, wallpaper and carpeting. The project grew in scope and duration because as work was being done we saw opportunities to make additional changes that we hadn't considered when the project began. The design build process can best be described as a collaboration between the architect, project manager, contractors and the home owner. Regular communication was key to the success of this project, and when concerns or problems arose (as they inevitably will in a project of this scope), the Hartman Baldwin team was there to address them. The finished project is absolutely beautiful, far exceeding our expectations. The project was so well designed and executed that it doesn't look like a rehab. The old and the new blend and harmonize beautifully. We have recommended Hartman Baldwin to friends and will definitely continue to do so.

We love Hartman Baldwin. We completed our first remodel with them in 2009 and we are currently working on our next project in 2015. We would never have anyone else but Hartman Baldwin to work on our house. We love everything about our new home improvements. Everyone who sees the changes, can't believe the differences that have been made in our home. Our home is beautiful because of all the care, expertise and artistry. We really love the people we have worked with at Hartman Baldwin. Pat Stout and Matt Mori are our architects, Reg and Levi are our project managers and Myranda is our interior design expert. Without all of their expertise ,help and concern for perfection, our house would not be the beautiful home it is. We are blessed to call them part of our family. They are always a phone call away to help us with all of our needs and concerns.

Thanks to the professionalism of Hartman Baldwin, we are extremely pleased with our new kitchen that was completely gutted and transformed to a beautiful and accessible space. Our new kitchen was actually usable about 3 weeks before schedule which was really great. We can't speak highly enough about our exceptional experience with HB. All the subcontractors kept the site clean and were respectful of us and our property. Reg Abersek is a wonderful project manager. He is meticulous and detailed about all aspects of the remodeling process and corrects even the smallest imperfection from a small crease in the edge of a cabinet shelf to filling a small opening next to the vent that we didn't even notice. He treated our remodel as if it were his own kitchen and in a respectful and gentlemanly manner.

We are very pleased and happy with Hartman Baldwin: the quality of their work is excellent, their professional and ethical standards impeccable and their results both beautiful and functional. The skill, perception, courtesy and attentive care with which they handled every detail of our project, including any problems that came up impressed us both very much. Working with them was both a comfort and a pleasure and left us looking forward to the next opportunity for the privilege of being in their competent hand

We feel extremely fortunate to have found Hartman Baldwin. When asked by friends and family we say it would be very difficult to find a team more dedicated to design, detail and craftsmanship than the people at Hartman Baldwin. We are currently starting a build from scratch new home with Hartman Baldwin and couldn't be more excited and confident it will be a great experience. This is fourth project we have done with them and we keep coming back for more!

{From an email I wrote to HB in 2010) Our project has thus far come out FANTASTIC. WE LOVE IT! I know there is still much to do on the outside, with regards to painting and the deck/stairway. But, oh gosh, the inside looks absolutely wonderful! First, we expected far more disarray, and we did not think our daughter would be able to sleep there....so we are very impressed that HB could do that much work between M-F. But more than the pace of the work, the quality absolutely delights us. When we walked into the room, it was like magic: No one could ever tell that it was any different. The craftsmanship is remarkable. I guess I should not be so surprised with HartmanBaldwin quality at this point in the game, but I still can be mightily impressed! The paneling looks awesome, and the AC on the other side of the room looks much better placed than before. We are so delighted with the project. Thanks so much.

Our Design/Build Team was excellent. They were available to us all the time and their attention to detail is like nothing we've ever seen. We just can't say enough good things about them. Also, we'd give them a 100% for cleanliness, they would clean and organize the last half hour of each workday, and nothing was left askew. You can ask my neighbors if you wish, they were excellent. We've never worked with anyone who was so courteous, respectful, and conscientious. They listened to our needs, were patient, courteous, and took everything into account when providing us with solutions. HartmanBaldwin worked within our budget and kept costs in line. That they did. I've worked with other architects that weren't that considerate; HartmanBaldwin didn't do that. They would work around our budget and make it work. This is our third project and we'll be doing one more, I would consider myself a client for life. Overall, my experience with HartmanBaldwin has been easier than I expected it would be. They are not difficult to work with, it was exactly what I expected, and they are so courteous, conscientious, and caring in what they do. I also want to add we had completed two remodel projects with Hartman Baldwin, one in 2004 and 2008. Our third project with them, the remodel of our pool, pool house and lower yard begins this Fall.

We are adding on a master bedroom suite with a walk -in closet and bathroom. We have a tiny house with a challenging floor plan. The architect's plans for our kitchen (which was done a year ago) created a better flow through the kitchen and living room. Now he has created a space in which the new bathroom will be accessible for family and guest use while keeping the master bedroom private. It's difficult for me to put into words just how much I love this company. I consider customer service to be of the utmost importance but HartmanBaldwin goes above and beyond any expectation I would have for great customer service. Every morning I leave for work knowing that my house is in great hands. I wish I could really express just how much I have complete faith and trust in every single person who has laid their hands on this project. I am humbled by the fact that every day a crew comes together to create an intricate piece of this artwork. They all know exactly what their job is and they come every day and do it with joy. I am grateful for these acts of kindness. Thank you so much.
