John and his team came to the rescue when I needed them the most. I had been getting ridiculous bids from Whidbey Island contractors that were charging me two and three times the market rate. His bathroom remodel guys showed up on time, were polite and did great work.

We had the most positive and professional experience with John and his assistant Kevin. Our job was not large but they treated us first class from start to finish. They replaced the trim and support beams for our deck on-time and exactly as we asked them. When I noticed a couple minor adjustments I wanted after they were done, they simply came the following day, made the adjustments exactly as requested with no issues. Talk about responsiveness! Based on a strong local recommendation, I contacted John Stevens, Wildwood Homes, to perform a time-sensitive small home improvement job, prior to placing our house on the market for sale. The owner himself responded to my call that same day with a personal visit to our home to scope out the project. I would have thought, based on the construction boom in our town, a smaller job would have been unappealing to most contractors. Not in this case. The job was completed a day later to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend this company for timely quality construction services.

We had issues with leaking windows that are pummeled by southern winds. I am somewhat obsessive about high quality work and attention to detail (OK, maybe too much), but I had seen the quality of John's work during an extensive remodel in Anacortes they did the previous year and knew they were the right guys to call. These guys were nothing short of professional and thorough throughout the job planing, execution and follow-up. The work crew was courteous, on-time every day, WORKED HARD ALL DAY, and didn't cut corners - always opted for the right way to do something and never hesitated to call your attention to something unforeseen and in need of attention. This project was initially to address the leaking windows - and most often, you don't know what you are dealing with until you open the wall. It turned into a MUCH larger project, requiring re-framing large portions due to rot and "amateur hour" fixes in the past. I am retired and was on site every day they were here and always was made aware of what was going on. They met deadlines and were on budget throughout. I can only say you won't be disappointed with Wildwood if you are in need of some quality work.

Wildwood Homes did a remodel of my living room, master bath, and various associated projects. John Stevens - the owner - was great - very knowledgeable, responsive and he always delivered what he said he would, when he said he would.. What I especially liked is that he listened to what I wanted and was very helpful in working out the best way to accomplish my aims within my budget. We had many changes along the way - and John was key in settling on the best and most cost effective solutions. His workers were also great - very competent, respectful, prompt and very easy to have around. At one point I had a water leak which affected several floors and rooms. John immediately sent his workers over and they helped to minimize the damage. John always came through for me - he is by far the best contractor I have ever had, and I have engaged quite a few.

The job was to repair damaged caused by a leak in a corner of the house. The leak was from some failed flashing between the roof and wall of a second floor bedroom. One of the damaged walls was a kitchen wall with cabinets and granite counters. John from Wildwood Homes was very good at explaining the process from dismantling to rebuilding and finishing work. Every effort was made to save the countertop, cabinets and wood floor. All the workers, carpenters, roofer, electrician, sheetrocker, taper, painters were polite, prompt and did quality work.

Wildwood Homes was the general contractor on a major remodel of our waterfront home in Anacortes, Washington. John effectively coordinated all of the sub-contractors, and managed his team to complete the job in a timely manner. When unexpected challenges came up, John communicated with us and our designer to develop cost-effective and creative solutions. We continued to live in the house during this project and John and his team worked with us to make this possible. We truly enjoyed working with John and the team from Wildwood.

"Fair and Square" would be a good Motto for Wildwood. When I have a problem with a building, or just need help, I call John Stevens, Owner of Wildwood Homes. I have used him several times and have always been satisfied with his company's work. At the present time, they finishing my shop buildings that was framed seven years ago. I had planned to personally do this finishing work, but physically, I was never able to do it. Their work has been first class and the pricing very fair. Bidding, building, project completion, and billing have all been well organized and on time. John is a very knowledgable and professional contractor.
