We just finished up a 3 month project with Bay Builders on a major transformation of the sunroom, kitchen, living room and dining room (and some other smaller items) and we could not be happier with the results. We recently moved into the home and had a vision in mind for what we wanted. Ofir, Rene and the rest of the Bay Builders team turned that dream into a reality and then some! First, the project was not easy as the home was a bit older and there were some structural changes that needed to be done. Ofir and Rene were communicative with the change orders (including some key recommendations like changing the flooring in the sunroom and upgrading the electrical panel to code) and very fair with pricing. We had a fixed budget initially and managed to stay within those bounds. In addition, the timelines matched expectations set from the initial project proposal (even with some unforeseen changes with the electrical panel upgrade). Rene and his team were quick, thorough, clean and extremely professional. My wife and I are thrilled we partnered with Bay Builders on this project, and would highly recommend them and work with them again in the future.

We recently completed a major renovation with Bay Builders -- a full bathroom addition, new closet/office, updated bedroom flooring, painting, and several structural changes -- and we couldn't be happier with the results. We purchased our remodeled/new house from Bay Builders in 2019. While we were not involved in the build process, we are extremely happy with the quality of work and all the finishes that Gilad and team used. We loved the white oak beams they had installed in the living room ceiling, so we asked Gilad if they could replicate them in our master bedroom and office on the second floor. They matched the material perfectly and completed the work on time and on budget. Our teenage daughter has special needs and we needed to make some updates to her bathroom to accommodate her. We reached out to Gilad to do the work of removing the bench seat in her shower, fixing the tiles and replacing the shower door. Gilad's team once again completed the work on budget and actually ahead of schedule which minimized the disruption to our daughter. We are very satisfied customers!

My husband and I enthusiastically recommend Bay Builders to anyone who is planning a home remodeling project. Our experience with them was great. They redesigned and upgraded the kitchen and two bathrooms in our recently purchased dream home—to our complete satisfaction and within our relatively tight timeline and budget. This was no small feat given the various logistical complications related to the pandemic. (Other contractors we interviewed, prior to our decision to award the remodeling contract to Bay Builders, said that they could not complete the work within our timeframe.) What specific qualities did we find most appealing about Bay Builders? I would say their professionalism, follow-through commitment, and pride in their work. They really listened to our needs, provided sound and candid advice, and then respected and implemented the decisions we made about the work we wanted done. Moreover, Bay Builders staff and contractors worked together seamlessly, making it easy on us as the clients to keep abreast of progress and results. It's been a few months since the work has been completed. We are still busy admiring our new kitchen and bathrooms. A special shout out to Daniel, Miguel, and Moses. They were the very best!

Our house was originally built in the late 1940s or early 1950s. It was not updated much other than a bit in the 1990s by previous owners. We had been thinking about what future we wanted for our home for a long time. With the pandemic, work from home, kids still being not-yet-school-aged... the timing was such that we needed to make it happen during this wild time in human history. The project has been a complete gut and remodel PLUS adding onto our home. We met with many companies, but Bay Builders were the team that we felt most comfortable entrusting our project with. From early discussions with Ofir, to planning with Gilad, and the day-to-day site/project management from Rene, everything has gone as smoothly as such a huge project could go. There have been challenges along the way with discovering little things here and there (it's an old house, it is expected!) but no matter what, Gilad and team have guided us and helped us navigate things. We are at the end of the project and will conclude everything very soon. Our home looks absolutely incredible. Better than my wife and I could have ever imagined. We bought our house in 2020 and knew immediately we wanted to remodel, take down load bearing walls, carpet to hardwoods, remove popcorn ceiling and redesign the kitchen and bathrooms. Bay Builders has helped us every step of the way with amazing professionalism and communication. I felt safe knowing my house is in good hands. Gilad and Rene deserve more than 5 stars I’m ecstatic the way the house has turned out. I’d recommend BBR to anyone in the Bay Area. I’m in Belmont and only drove to their office in San Jose 1 time for a formal meeting after the permits were approved to review the final layout otherwise they always met at the house .

I have had nothing but positive experience with Bay Builders, in particular our project manager, Isaac Rozolyo for our bathroom remodel . I have done some remodeling in the past and I can assure you that having Isaac managing the project has made the experience 10x better. He has superb communication, attention to detail, and great sense of design style. We are very fortunate to have Isaac managing the whole process, from start to finish. I recently remodeled two full bathrooms with Bay Builders. While this was a big deal to me, it is often hard to find a builder to take on less than a full house remodel or an addition. From the minute Tal came to provide an estimate through project completion, I knew Bay Builders was the right choice. Tal was a great partner through the entire project. He managed all of the processes and crews seamlessly and also provided expertise that helped me make difficult decisions along the way – including finding a carpenter who was able to craft beautiful custom vanities and a linen closet! The entire build crew was fantastic and could not have been nicer to work with. Miguel and his team are dedicated to making sure things are done right and they don’t take shortcuts which I appreciated. I can’t recommend Bay Builders (and Tal specifically) enough!

Bay Builders & Remodeling, Inc. We have been undergoing our main bathroom remodeling since last Friday, which is a week after since we met Bay Builders & Remodeling. So far, my wife and I feel so lucky to see Isaac Rozolyo (Project manager) & Miguel Raymundo(Crew lead) from Bay Builders & Remodeling. Our remodeling project began with the main bathroom, meaning we faced the water pipe issue after the demolition completed. This problem was kind of as expected in my mind but I will like to share our great experience I have had so far. While we would like to update the work results after the completion, we have had a great impression so far such as clear scheduling, crew assignment, careful work and customer friendly/positive correspondence.

When I finally decided to renovate our hideous bathroom, I met with three project managers from legitimate (bonded, licensed, insured) companies. They each quoted roughly the same price. Ultimately, I chose Bay Builders and Remodeling, Inc. (BBR) because Tom Alony, the project manager (PM) was honest, knowledgeable and did not annoy/stalk me to get the job Luckily, I made the right decision because not only did the team do a remarkable job on the first bathroom which started and stopped twice in March because of COVID-19 but on the other five rooms that they have remodeled since!! As a PM, Tom was great to work with and made the process easy. Knowledgeable and fun, he saved me thousands by acting as my voice of reason during our creative design sessions by offering practical recommendations and substitutions for my “dream” fixtures-spot on every time. He was an excellent manager of all six projects (completed in less than five months) and of his talented and hard-working team. Carlos and Jose were true artists when it came to design and execution. I never expected to see such a high level of perfectionism from contractors. Carlos designed an amazing and flawless tile patterns and Jose took a class to learn a specific metallic faux paint technique that I decided I “needed” to have to make my design complete. We are beyond thrilled with our new spaces and all the compliments we have received.

This team has their stuff together. They are fast accurate And professional, they know what their doing. I would recommend Baybuilders, Isaac, and team if you want to done right and on time.

We highly recommend Bay Builders, and especially Tom Aloni and Gilad Baron as our lead contractors. Choosing to remodel a kitchen is one thing, staying in the house is another, but to have this happen during Covid-19 was an extra level of challenges! Tom and Gilad took care of all of this. We interviewed several companies and chose Bay Builder based on the high quality of the sample projects they showed us and Tom's easy-going personality. There was also a lot of prep work behind the scenes, especially by Gilad. Yet with any remodeling, there will be surprises and how Bay Builder handled the hiccups put us at ease. Tom was attentive in listening to our needs and patient with our change orders. Tom and Gilad effectively managed the project during this stressful time. The professionalism and integrity demonstrated by the entire team were very impressive. We also appreciated Alex, Moises, and all other folks they hired to do the work. Everyone was responsible and respectful of our space.

We finally made it through the several months of renovations that our kitchen and bathroom required and the results are very pleasing. We would like to thank Bay Builders and in particular, Isaac Rozolyo, project manager, and his work crew lead by Miguel Raymundo for all their hard work in getting this project completed. It was probably not the best of projects to attempt upon a nearly 70-year-old, San Jose “tract” home in the middle of a pandemic and sporadic summer heatwaves. Aside from the fact that the house was in sad shape to begin with, there were several difficulties in getting products that were needed in a timely manner from other suppliers and vendors since the epidemic slow down. Indeed, despite all the difficulties, they were able to transform this “sow’s ear” of a house into “a silk purse!” We would very much like to thank all those involved at Bay Builders for their fine work.

Isaac, our project manager, went out of his way to help us in many ways. He helped us through the whole process from start to finish which included designing a 3D rendering of our project, the permit and scheduling the inspections, he did not make us feel bad when unexpected issues came up with our partial kitchen remodel. He is nice/outgoing, professional in behavior and the way he dresses, has a sense of humor and speaks several languages . Miguel, the foreman, was also helpful and went out of his way to help with our kitchen remodel when needed, he is also nice and has a sense of humor at appropriate times. They both speak English and Spanish which was very helpful when we needed to communicate with the Spanish speaking workers. Whatever work issues came up, they were dealt with from the appropriate specialty of the workers. A few of the workers would sweep and vacuum the kitchen floor area after each work day.

The kitchen and bathroom of our 1950’s era home was in bad need of renovation after so many years of use. We began the process of interviewing several contractors. However, we were often put off by them either telling us what they thought we needed while others agreed to everything without regard to feasibility. Bay Builders and Remodeling, Inc. came forth as providing a “one-stop-shop” of sorts for the variety of services and expertise which are required to perform such a renovation. Isaac, our project manager, was a very enthusiastic yet pragmatically realistic, and a well-meaning representative for his company. He guided us through our wishes for the kitchen and bathroom while keeping us grounded in terms of good design, code restrictions, and space limitations while suggesting sources for low cost yet high-quality appliances, cabinetry, plumbing, and other additional materials for such a rebuild. Through his company, he assigned the various sub-contractors to perform the necessary work effectively and efficiently. Dealing with a home of this age, one needs to realize that when the walls are removed, one often finds unexpected difficulties. The old adage, “What you can’t see can’t hurt you!” is particularly dangerous one to hold in the light of corroding water pipes, drains, and mold infestations. Isaac was not the kind of contractor that “sugar coats” adverse situations — he was forthcoming, told us the grim news in person, while directing our strict attention to any health issues, current building code requirements, and protecting the over-all investment issues of our property. Isaac has a strong sense of ethics and responsibility towards his customers. Isaac takes his job very seriously, and he believes that the customer comes first: he is there to help them with their wishes — no matter how difficult that they might become at times.

My husband and I recently purchased a carriage house that was built in 1953 that was in need of a serious remodel. Since we were planning on renting the property after the remodel, cost was a definite concern. I interviewed several design/build contractor firms before starting my project. We ultimately chose Bay Builders because they were sensitive to our budget, professional and very knowledgeable. My first meeting was with Tom and Tal. I was looking for a more modern and open floor plan. They listened to my ideas and offered suggestions of their own. They had great ideas and addressed issues I had not considered. Once I told my husband I wanted to work with Bay Builders Tom set up another meeting with my husband to meet one of the owners, Sean Zaguri to discuss the project in more detail. They were honest and forthright about the project from the very beginning. They warned us that because the house was old once they started opening up and moving walls they might find additional problems that would need to be addressed that were not outlined in the original scope of the project. With any and all issues that came up they were forthright and honest about the additional needed repairs and cost. Pricing and costs were very transparent throughout the project. We had regular on site meetings to discuss the most cost effective way to address the additional repairs. Tom Aloni, as my project manager was professional, easy to communicate with and kept me informed of the progress of the project through texts, pictures and phone calls. In addition, Tom is always upbeat, positive and a pleasure to be around and work with. As someone who has remodeled a home, an office and built a home from the ground up I can honestly say I have had a wonderful experience with Bay Builders and their team. My husband and I are thrilled with the finished project and I would highly recommend Bay Builders and would use them again for any future projects.

We were looking to renovate our outdated kitchen for a few years already, but we always put our plan on hold because finding a great construction team is really difficult. We generally hear horror stories and dissatisfaction on other construction companies. But it's a DIFFERENT story working with Bay Builders this last December 2019. From the first encounter of getting a quote, Tal, the project manager, has always been so professional and knowledgeable. He also seems like the type of person who are on top of things, responsible, and responsive. True enough he lived up to our expectations. Beautiful Design is included with the project and the process from the beginning of planning, the execution, and the final results are all very satisfactory for us. They made sure that we still have livable and clean space for us during the constructions. They always clean up afterwards each day, put up plastic sheets walls and taped up everything very neatly. These are very important to us, since we have a small kid. Rene, who is the foreman of the project, is very professional and awesome as well. He made sure things are going according to plan and everything goes smoothly. They are very responsive in term of any request for touch up or fixing imperfections. Of course sometimes there are hiccups and challenges during construction, such as faulty appliances. We were so appreciative of Tal and Rene’s help in returning our faulty appliances to the store, and thus we were able to repurchased new appliances with no problem. We love our new kitchen and everything finished in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend Bay Builders Construction to all my friends, and work with them again for the future projects. We hired Bay Builders to remodel two full bathrooms and move the laundry facilities from the garage to an interior space. They were great to work with. Their services were of great value and they started and finished on time. It was a pleasure to work with them and we love our new bathrooms and laundry room.

I have had a great experience working with Bay Builders & Remodeling these past three months, especially Isaac Rozolyo the project manager for my major kitchen and master bathroom remodel project for my condo in San Carlos. It has been a challenging time, because there was unexpected black mold found in my bathroom and kitchen walls! Coupled with an HOA being involved, it really created a barrier to getting the project done. People had warned me about remodeing, and thank goodness I went with a solid company like Bay Builders. I was so glad to have the professional help to guide me through that process and what was needed to fix my kitchen and bathroom correctly the first time. There were never any delays on account of Bay builders's end of things, and they helped me to push it through as fast as possible. We are nearly done now and it's so exciting to see the project coming to life the way that I designed with Isaac. I also appreciated the attention to detail including laying out the pricing step by step, and making sure I got the things the way I wanted including a farmhouse style sink that turned out to be tricky to fit.

We needed a professional contractor that could accomplish our kitchen renovation project in a tight timeline because we were expecting our first baby. We felt Bay Builders would be able to do that when Tal & Shawn first came to give the quote. We were happy that we chose them. Tal, as our project manager, and Rene, as the lead foreman, were very professional & easy to work with. They always answered our questions promptly and checked on the work progress on a daily basis. Their crew was on-time, polite, and considerate knowing that we stayed in part of the house during the whole renovation. Tal also scheduled the subcontractors and their crew efficiently to make sure the project was continuously on-going. Our baby ended up delivered early and Bay builders did the best they could so that we had at least a semi-functional kitchen when we got home from the hospital. Overall, we were very pleased with the outcome and professionalism from Bay Builders and would recommend them to others.

We are currently undergoing our kitchen remodeling. We are so happy that we hired Bay Builders and Remodeling. Our project manager, Isaac, has a very pleasant personality and he is really easy to work with. He’s constantly checking in at our site and communicating very well with me and with his coworkers. Even I have a small question, he always answers and eases my mind. In the beginning, he showed us 3D design of how the kitchen would turn out after the remodeling. It was so nice that we could visualize the final outcome in 3D. Also, he did a miracle job getting us in San Jose City inspection appointment so soon, which makes our remodeling moving forward faster than we expected. Also, the workers are always on time, which makes my life so easy during the construction. They are very friendly and courteous. Less than 2 weeks in since started, but so far so good, and I am a very happy customer!

I found Bay Builders through a website called Thumbtack while I was looking to remodel my dad's kitchen. I was impressed when I got contacted by a coordinator to discuss my project and set up a time for someone to get an estimate. We ended up doing a lot more than just the kitchen after talking with the project manager, Tom. He suggested that I could do a lot more to the house depending on my budget and was very helpful with estimating costs so I could stay within my original budget as much as possible. We ended up remodeling the kitchen plus removing popcorn ceiling, painting, replacing carpet with vinyl flooring, and new light fixtures. I really appreciated that Tom was easy to communicate with. I was not in the area and my dad was living in house so he had to coordinate with both of us for different things. He would text and call with updates and progress often. There were bumps along the way, but I always felt comfortable discussing any concerns and questions with Tom when they would come up. One thing to note is that Bay Builders contracts out work to other people like painting, countertops, cabinets, etc, but they remain the main point of contact between the customer and the other contractors. Make sure you know what your contract with Bay Builders includes as there were times where I was confused when a different contractor would offer to do something for cost that I was already paying Bay Builders to do. When in doubt, contact your project manager! I'm happy with the finished product and would recommend Bay Builders to others. It's a good company to work with when you are new to remodeling and need help coordinating a lot of different types of work.

Bay Builders did a complete remodel and 2nd floor addition to our home. They were well-organized and stayed on schedule to complete the job in the promised time frame. The quality of work was good - we have lived in the house for a year and had only minor issues (e.g. drywall cracks that they came and fixed). Happily recommend them.

I spoke with five different contractors and my hunch about Isaac worked out great. He is very genuine and goes above and beyond when communicating. Issac is evidently passionate about his job. He does not show up to the work site to simply collect money and call it a day. He demonstrates concern and will accommodate when he senses it's warranted. He provides updates about the project in very timely fashion. More importantly he responds timely when I am the one reaching out to him about my concerns. Additionally, he accepts feed back like a professional. My comfort level is very high with Isaac. The project is still in process but I trust Issac in that the quality if the work when completed will be evident.

We worked with Michael and Gilad to renovate and transform our master bedroom, bath and wardrobe. They were very professional, assessable and responsive. The project took longer than anticipated however, much to do with our change requests and specific design needs. Our Master Suite turned out simply beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned and more.

Wow! We are so impressed and happy with our renovation: brand new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, and new flooring throughout. Gilad Baron and the team from Bay Builders really provided an end to end success. Gilad was very clear about options and had helpful detailed suggestions during the design. He was meticulous in coordinating the project from demo, to framing, to inspections, to plumbing and electrical, to installation of cabinets, counters and hardware. Gilad also personally joined us in selecting tiles and trim. I was most impressed that the budget was clear and that we stayed on time for the project. We saw progress every day (I’m not joking), and the full project was completed just when he said it would be. Perhaps our strongest endorsement is for Gilad’s careful eye for detail. He inspected all work, and proactively had the team make changes when it wasn’t too his standard. As he promised, Bay Builders provided us with a beautiful kitchen and bathrooms we will enjoy for years to come.

We hired Bay Builders to advise us on, and complete, the remodel of two bathrooms. They provided design help, assisted us in selecting materials, and got the jobs done within budget (aside from old house issues discovered when walls were opened!). I thought the tradesmen they used were respectful of me and my space/stuff. I liked them enough to add on more work, including being the general on a roof replacement with lots of repair of damage, replacement of skylights, etc. I would hire them again.

Just finished a custom build cabinet and countertop in my kitchen and it looks lovely.. I love my kitchen and project process. Project handling was pretty good and fast.
