We hired Chad of Home Innovations for a major home remodel, including master bedroom, master bath, new windows, new skylights, redoing wood flooring throughout house, painting most rooms, etc.
We moved into a rental in May 2021-February 2022.
The pros-
When we started looking for remodeling companies, Chad got back to us the fastest.
Chad and his wife are extremely nice.
The cons-
-updated 12/11/24– just found out that the bathroom sink is separating from the countertop. We hired Midwest Marble to fix it. The said additionally, neither sink had either been caulked in (where bowl meets cabinetry)
-The skylights never leaked before, now they leak every time it rains.
-There is an obvious seam line in the carpet in the master bedroom.
-Sept 2021- Tile in master bath is laid but they forget install the heated floor. They had to pull the tile and redo it. They assure me that “you will never know we had to fix this.”
*note-the heated floor didn’t work until Aug 2024
They came back multiple times to pull up tiles to try to fix it. Finally in July 2024, they pulled up all the tile, fixed the heated floor, and relayed tile over the original mat. At this point, there is so much build-up of Quikset that several tiles aren’t level. It definitely looks like a floor that been patched.
Furthermore, every time you have to fix something, something else gets messed up, ex- scratched paint, damaged base boards.
After they redid the tile in August, they left a huge mess and I had to clean it up.
-Multiple times we came to the house and the house was not secure, doors left unlocked. House was robbed in Sept 2021. No tools from job site stolen, just things we had in storage in upstairs bedrooms. Also note, it was someone that knew our security cameras were down because there was no power in the internet room because it was being worked on.
-When we moved back in the travertine on the fireplace mantle was mysteriously broken.
-They left paint splotches on our black tile, and when I complained, they came back to fix it but putting some sort of paint remover on it, and it took the finish off the tile leaving splotches.
Overall, I would say that Chad has too many projects going at once, so there is no quality control on his jobs. He is an extremely nice guy, but I just think he needs to focus on his current jobs before taking on new ones.

After interviewing several other builders we have chosen Chad to build our custom house. Even though we still live in The Woodlands, Texas, working with him has been easy. He is always available and responds quickly. Construction hasn’t started yet, but he is fully committed to the project. We couldn’t ask for a more honest hard working contractor. Highly recommended.

We bought a house from 1937 and knew it could be nicer. We interviewed 4 potential contractors but Chad and Nikki stood out and were the obvious choice. This was a total redo to the studs with new plumbing, electric etc.
Throughout the whole process we were totally involved. Chad walked us through all the steps and allowed us to have an active part in the project. The crews they used were very devoted and had wonderful workmanship. Challenges were addressed, changes made as we went along and the ending results were amazing.
We loved the process and through it all made many friends with Chad and Nikki and the sub-contractors. The results were exactly what we wanted.

We had an excellent experience with Chad and all his crews. Nikki his wife was also very helpful. The project stayed on course and we are so very happy. Our forever home turned about even better than we could have imagined.

Our family really enjoyed working with Chad and Anne-Marie from Home Innovations. They were professional, creative and organized. They always communicated changes and they were great to work with during a challenging project. We have a very old home, but their team was able to create a re-model that kept the integrity of the original home, but gave it the right update. We would recommend Home Innovations.

Home Innovations helped us in the building of our back covered patio. We love it! The service was quick. The finished product is beautiful. The finishing touches make it look like it is part of the original house. We are more than happy and would recommend Home Innovations to anyone looking to make home improvements.

We were very pleased with the work Home Innovations did for us. They were very professional and respectful of our wishes. They listened to what we wanted design wise and went out of their way to find everything from tile to fixtures to make our bathroom remodel perfect. Everyone they hired to come into our home to work was kind and courteous and very qualified. We would recommend them to anyone needing a contractor.

Home innovations replaced all our outside siding and gutters. They also replaced countertops and backsplash in our kitchen.
The outside work was done quickly and well. We were impressed with this contractor's honest discussions with us and conscientiousness of our budget.
The inside project was not completed on time and seemed to suffer when other contracted projects were begun elsewhere. While I am pleased with the final product, I felt "pushed to the sidelines" the last couple of weeks.
My experience with this contractor began positively and followed a bumpy path to completion. I am pleased with their motto "we aren't leaving until you are happy", and can say, it is true.

Home Innovations helped us with a project when we had a pipe burst this last spring. It started as an insurance claim and turned into an extended project including new floors, new kitchen tile work, woodworking and painting. I really appreciated the way Chad handled the claims adjuster and worked with me on costs. Both Chad and Nikki are knowledgeable, professional and have a strong work ethic. I would hire them again for our next project as this project exceeded our expectations. Thank you both!

We were in desperate need of a remodel in our master bathroom. When we started our project we really wanted to keep the cost down so we were just going to do the shower and the counter tops. We knew our trim was molding, but little did we know, when they demoed our shower there was 3 inches of standing water in the walls. We were fortunate that the damage wasn't worse. The tile we selected for the shower was a travertine. Nikki informed us it can vary in color greatly and thus recommended that we might want to buy all we needed for the floor so that when we where ready to do the floor everything would match. We decided to follow her advice and got the tile. I was searching for a specific tub, so that I would be ready when the time was right. Well, Nikki continued to look for that specific tub and found one for $1000 less than what we had expected it would cost - so we decided to go ahead and get it. Since we ordered the tub and had already bought the tile we figured it was a bigger savings to go ahead and let them finish the whole bathroom now. Home Innovations took care of everything and we are thrilled with our new master bathroom.
