J & M Remodel

J&M did a lovely job on our kitchen remodel. We had them tear it down to the studs, remove a wall, close up a doorway, and then put it all back together into a designer kitchen. They were also very accommodating to a major change in scope when we unexpectedly needed them to pull up all the flooring on the main floor, level it, and lay new hardwoods. The down payment was minor and they set a reasonable start date that they could commit to (even starting a few days early!) We appreciated the homeowner portal where we could review details of the work and cost of our project as we went along. J&M displayed a willingness to accommodate changes and fix any minor issues to ensure we would walk away loving the end product. For example, during a final walkthrough we showed them some issues with the finish on the quartz countertops. They arranged for the counter subcontractor to come out and repair them for us. So appreciated! I would highly recommend them and have already shared their contact information with our neighbor who was blown away by the beauty of our kitchen and new wood floors. We can’t wait to work with them again on our next remodel project.

Justin and his crew did a great job on our kitchen remodel. They were very professional, responsive and thorough. They provided great recommendations for tile and countertop ideas, which is helpful. I would definitely recommend J&M.

We are so happy with the work which J&M Remodel did for us! We had a leaky bathtub shortly before we were meant to move out and turn over our house to renters! J&M came in to fix the damaged drywall and prep it for our painting - all in a very timely manner! We would have been in deep trouble if J&M weren’t willing to work on our very tight timeline! I can highly recommend them - without hesitation! And - they’re incredibly easy to work with! We will definitely use them again - for whatever projects emerge!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the remodel went over all. Brandon was a champ at the house every day. Cleaned up so we could live with the mess each night. He was helpful with design ideas and his carpentry skill were awesome (see shelves!) Justin and Mandy kept us on task with the needed supplies and directed me what to get next. It turned out great. I would use them again!

Mandy and Justin are two of the most professional and caring people you will work with. Their drive and standard of work is something you will not find anywhere else. They bring great ideas to each and every project they do and always over deliver. I have worked with them for quite some time now and they always hold true to their word, a great trait in contractors. All good things to say here.

J & M Remodel did a great job on our master bathroom! They sent us a material list so we knew exactly what to buy (and saved us some money as well as giving us the option to choose exactly what we wanted for tile, lighting, and fixtures). They finished the job on time and under budget, and threw in some extra work (skim coating our walls) since we were under budget and could allow for it. We were extremely pleased with the work performed and would recommend them to anybody doing a remodel! Very easy to work with. Daily contact with the workers made it easy to change things as necessary as the work went on.

My husband keeps reminding me how lucky we were to find J & M Remodel. Work was sensational, price was reasonable and quality was great. We were able to reconfigure a space and capture more usable area for work and storage. Justin had a great suggestion on how to use an area that I thought was not workable to place the washer and dryer.

During one of the Northwest winter windstorms we lost several pieces of a shake roof. You could see daylight from the master bedroom. I contracted J&M Remodel and had the job completed before any damage was done to the interior of our house. The workers who completed the work were very respectful and polite to me and my family and answered all of our questions about the project. The area around our house looked better after the clean up from the old roof than before the project started. I would hire this contractor again and highly recommend them to anyone that asks about a contractor.

I have used J & M for multiple projects. They have a true eye for detail. Justin (owner) is forthright. He does not low ball a bid to win a job only to raise the price later. Rather, he is honest at the begining of the project. He and his crews do what they say they will while taking pride in their work. The only time the cost of a project changed is when I asked for specific changes to the plan. The team did a good job of cleaning up at the end of each day. I will use them again and have refered his company to friends and family with good results.

Very professional outfit... The work I had done was an entire bathroom renovation, including new vanity, new lighting throughout, tile floor, and a custom fully tiled, walk in shower. I also needed a closet remodel with new water heater and tiled floor... The work was so well done that I hired them back to also install lights in the kitchen and install a kitchen faucet. The owner, Justin, took his time to understand my project and gave some great, honest feedback. I also appreciate the fact that if Justin wasn't happy about how something turned out, he made sure that it got fixed. He has a great eye. They weren't available right away, but I hired them because I had a good feeling about their work... The final project turned out beautifully. Some decisions had to be reworked and it took a little more time than I expected, but the whole thing came together in what I had imagined. James, the guy assigned to the project, was really meticulous... He took care of everything. He made the project as easy on me as possible. If you do hire J & M, ask for James to do the work.
