Kraft Custom Construction completed our kitchen remodel in early 2025 and did a great job - we particularly appreciated the transparency of the bidding process and their competence/attention to detail. We also appreciated the high quality materials and design, addition of an island, more usable storage, and ample counter space for cooking and hosting. The kitchen has become the focal point of our house. They did an excellent job with project management and assisting in the design phase. Would recommend and use them again!

Kraft Custom Construction exceeded my expectations with my kitchen remodel. Robert and Emma were accommodating without compromising craftsmanship in having taken over a projects started by another contractor. Their organization, clarity of costs, construction time-line calendar, and constant conversation left no questions unanswered and there were no surprises that often accompany construction. I was informed throughout the whole process, prior to contract signing to post-completion, and had constant input into my needs and wants. The subcontractors were always polite, efficient and accommodating. Dave was fantastic to work with. Their recommendations for a designer perfectly met my needs and style and I could not be happier with what Molly created. You can be assured of a quality job and a quality crew when employing this company for any work you need.

When we bought our house in 2021 we knew we wanted to do some work to elevate it even more than it had been by the previous two owners, but the prospect of finding the right contractor to help us accomplish what we were hoping for was quite daunting, to be honest. My wife and I had practically no experience doing any significant remodeling, and often you hear horror stories about people's experiences with remodels and contractors. NOT THE CASE WITH KRAFT AT ALL. From the very first discovery meeting both Emma and Robert Kraft actually listened to what my wife and I were wanting to accomplish, rather than leading the charge with all of things they thought could be done (which happened more often than we honestly expected with contractors we interviewed). Kraft also followed through on all of their promises of deliverables before we agreed to move forward, which set a clear tone that they are professionals that are organized and on top of things (and this was met 100% throughout the actual project once it started). What we ultimately wanted was a partner that mitigated as many of the stresses that come with something like this as possible, set proper expectations, communicated clearly, listened, executed at a high level, and cared as much about our home as we do, and I can say without any doubt we got all of that. Money VERY well spent. If we do more work on our house in the future, we will absolutely be calling Kraft and will happily wait until they can fit us in, because we know that their entire team (their immediate team and subs) will care as much about our project as us and totally deliver on what we want. And if you're looking for a partner that needs to meet needs like ours, carve out time to talk with Kraft. Their whole team are simply outstanding.

Let me start with: 100% you should work with Kraft Custom Construction. Before we found Kraft, we had hired another contractor for our big home remodel project(about 700sq ft of unfinished space in a home we purchased last year including a bathroom, bedroom, hallway, and bonus room) it didn't go well with the first company. While the bid from Kraft was higher than the other three I got, it was also clearer and more realistic. They know what they're doing and what it will actually take to get the job done. The systems Kraft has in place, the transparency and high level communication, the support & care from everyone involved, the urgency around problem solving, and the attention to detail & craft will absolutely bring us back for our next project. Did I mention they finished two weeks sooner than planned! I can't say enough positive things. Not only are they first class, but he subcontractors they use are the best in Salem. This is my second remodel using Kraft. They put a 3 bedroom apartment in my basement and this year remodeled my master suite and spare bedroom. I love their work, and am beyond happy with both remodels.

Robert Kraft Custom Construction has done a few small projects for us in the past. When we decided to remodel our condo we knew that Robert Kraft Custom Construction was the company to go with. No aggravations, excellent work, and a beautiful final product. A condo remodel can be difficult due to common walls, close neighbors, and HOA restriction. Robert dealt with all the issues with the upmost professionalism. We plan on doing an additional project next year and would consider no one else.

We hired Kraft Construction to renovate our 100 year old family farm home. This was a very special project to us and we wanted to make sure it was done right and with quality construction. After months of detailed research on the house we found out the house would be better off if we rebuilt it. Kraft construction was very sensitive to the dynamics of this project and made sure great care was taken to replicate all the details of the old house into the new house. It took about 13 months to complete. We couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. We are loving all the original details and the quality construction. Everything looks impeccable. Kraft construction has fantastic communication and attention to detail. We would definitely hire them again.

Kraft Custom Construction did a major remodel of our kitchen, opened up the floor plan to create direct access between the entry and dining room, installed new hardwood flooring throughout the living areas and hallway, and did a variety of cosmetic upgrades in those areas. We continued to live in the house during the project, and KCC did everything they could to minimize any disruption and discomfort to us. I am very happy with the results, and appreciative of the fact that KCC kept me well-informed throughout the project and promptly responded to all issues I brought to their attention. Everyone with whom I dealt at KCC, their subcontractors, and the interior designer they recommended was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful, and their work was of a high standard. The project took longer than originally estimated, but only because a very unusual and unforeseeable problem was encountered. I recommend KCC highly, and would hire them again if I need additional remodeling done on my house.

I have always done projects myself but things change including getting older. I was looking for a General Contractor who could handle the myriad of projects needed. I was aware of Kraft Custom and their reputation previously. After getting more acquainted I was even more positive of them. After the contract was signed the sub contractors began their work. Very impressed with their on time appearance just as the contract specified. They were very communicative (rare these days). and treated their task as if it were their own home. The thoroughness and quality of Kraft & their subcontractors is without equal & all timely finished.

I just completed a major update in my condo, which included a total replacement of the kitchen. I found that every aspect of working with Kraft Custom Construction was exceptional. The Kraft team excels at responsive communication and tracking the details, which for me are keys to building trust, especially since I was living in the condo during most of the project. I couldn't be more pleased with the subcontractors Kraft chose.
