I have posted reviews on services provided by Living Homes construction everywhere I can because in the process of restoring my 1901 home with them I AM SOOOOoooooo happy with the quality of their work, the professionalism of their subs, and the outstanding project management provided by our PM (Chris Wright)... I could post 100's of pictures, but I will only post 1. Drive by 832 S Lincoln St (near 9th & 9th in Salt Lake) to see the work for yourself. Feel free to knock on the door if you want me to show off the inside as well. You CAN shop around for contractors that will charge less (and probably find quite a few...), but you will NEVER find a contractor that performs better more professional work AND has the best subs - from the framers (Lone Peak), to the mason (Pat at PATCO does AMAZING work !) to the electricians (Scott and his crew at Distinct Electrical) to his OUTSTANDING painters (which is obvious on the outside, and looks just as AWESOME on the inside!). I can't overstate how pleased I am with their work, coordination, and professionalism. They are DEFINITELY the contracting company for you to use..."

Although Living Home Construction & Design wasn't able to take on my project they referred me to someone who could. :-)

Our project was in a condo building and we wanted to put a staircase between two condos to combine the units. In addition, the plan was to renovate and update both units. After interviewing five very reputable builders in the area, Chris Towson and Living Home was the only one who understood the scope of the project. Putting in the staircase was probably the most challenging part of the project and they did a remarkable job with the engineering and production of the staircase. It's unbelievably beautiful. To complicate the project even more, we were living in Boston and doing the project long distance. The project manager, Chris Wright, did such a great job keeping us informed about the progress of the project by sending photos and posting a daily log for us. We really wanted to stay within the budget and even though we added some things to the initial design, we felt that Living Homes did a very good job at estimating the cost of the project. The subs always spoke so highly of working for Living Homes and we felt like the sub-contractors were the best in the business. Each one went out of their way to give us options on their particular specialty. Of course we were concerned about the quality of the work and it was great, but what was more important to us was the integrity of the contractor. We can honestly say that Chris Towson and Chris Wright were always honest and forthright. We highly recommend them and we are so happy that through the process we have remained friends.

Fantastic. Chris and team are first class all the way. On time, on budget and quality. What more could you ask for. It was a pleasure working with them and they made our renovation an enjoyable endeavor.

From start to finish (and beyond), Living Home were great to work with. As others have mentioned, they are very detail-oriented and take pride in their work. Delays here and there are to be expected (and out of their control), and Living Home communicated all of that to us as they came up. Our architect, Angela Dean of AMD Architecture, referred us to Living Home Construction. Both Angela and Living Home were great to work with. We have previously worked with excellent contractors and had high hopes and expectations. Our project was delayed, as all are, due to the permitting process, but both AMD Architecture and Living Home gave us reasonable expectations regarding price and timing. We made changes during construction which added costs, but Living Home provided us with timely and clear change orders. We were very pleased with Living Home's work quality and professionalism. Our Project Manager, Chris Wright was an essential component of every aspect of the remodel, and we appreciated his judgment, precision, and abilities. We highly recommend both AMD Architecture and Living Home Construction & Design and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I am a real estate lawyer who frequently works for my clients on large, complex commercial projects, including class A office, multi-family residential, retail, and industrial warehouse. Many of those projects require construction, including high-end finish work: I know my way around a construction site. Simply put, Chris and Living Home Construction are exceptional. Living Home Construction is the exception to the rule of horrors I've heard about residential contractors. Chris and his Living Home team are reliable, honest, responsive, detail-oriented, creative in finding solutions to residential building problems, have high-quality subcontractors, stay on schedule, and are generally great to work with. We had a large remodeling job and were out of the main floor of our home for about 6.5 months. Chris and his team were sensitive to our specific needs and wishes. His painting, finish carpenter, electrical, flooring, tile, masonry, iron and metal, and stone/hard surface subcontractors each loved what they do, took pride in the details of their work, and achieved some beautiful, amazing results in our home. I am a big fan of Chris Towson and Living Home Construction and was even more pleased with their work than I expected. Finally, Chris and his team communicated often and clearly with us and used website to keep up informed about the schedule and change orders. Their work is the highest quality available, and I recommend them without reservation. Finally, Chris was open, honest, and fair about the cost for the job, and he sent regular, detailed involves and billing summaries to show actual as compared to budgeted cost in order to make sure he stayed on budget.

My company has worked with Living Home Construction on several projects. Chris is fantastic to work with and I really enjoy being a part of his projects! This company is very detail oriented, extremely thorough, and consistently on schedule which is everything people look for in a general contractor. When it comes to new builds or complete remodels, these guys are true professionals. I would highly recommend them for your project.

I highly recommend Living Home for your home renovation project. At a time when contractors are in high demand in the area and I've heard nightmares from friends about bad contractor experiences, we were very pleased with Chris and his team - they do high end work across the board. We gutted about 2500 square feet on three different floors and were very happy with the quality results. Communication with Chris was easy, he was always on time for our meetings, and he was flexible with changes throughout the process. And our punchlist was surprisingly short. They put in the work upfront on schedule, etc. to make sure you aren't surprised on cost or timing throughout the process. They also use electronic communication to keep tabs on the project, including current progress in pictures. We lived in the basement through most of the project and felt very comfortable with the Living Home crew and their subcontractors coming and going. Even several months later, they remain responsive. Our house is beautiful and we will use Living Home again if we decide to do more work.

We recently completed an interior remodel of our home with Living Home Construction & Design. They did an incredible job!
