PLF Design and Remodeling were hired to replace/remodel the shower in the ensuite bathroom. They were able to get the job done over 4 days and were willing to work around my schedule. I was kept up to date through out the process and was provided multiple options of tiles that were within the price range of the estimate. The price quoted to me in the beginning was the price I paid throughout. I'm very happy with the result and informed Pascual, the lead on the project, that I planned to call them again for a future remodel.

From start to finish, Pascual and his team were true professionals. We knew within the first 5 minutes of meeting him that he was going to get the job done. We had Pascual and his team finish our basement and we're more than thrilled with the results! There was clear communication throughout the entire process. We were never left wondering what the next step was, where the guys were, etc. Pascual and Stephanie made sure we were well apprised of the schedule throughout the whole process. Pascual was also SO accommodating to last minute changes that we wanted. We are so thankful that we came across PLF and will be recommending them to all of our friends & family! Like many previous reviewers we took a long time and many attempts at finding the right outfit to remodel our master bathroom. As is the case with contractors - the market is filled with charlatans, unprofessional, and fake “designers” who are aiming at stripping you out of your money by pushing solutions they most profit of, obscure proposals, predatory contracts and other less than honest methods. Pascual turned out to be a wonderful exception: a true professional, who is not only a contractor but is an excellent project manager - it takes one to know one! You get a hint about that already in the web introduction to PLF’s 6 step process - music to our ears. In the introductory phase we found him to be an excellent listener and demonstrate an ability to provide solutions to our desires, rather than push his own, while contributing some real good ideas to achieve our wishes. An example for that was the existing floor tiles we had that were in excellent condition, met our taste, and we therefore wanted to keep and re-use in the new design. Almost everyone else we asked for a proposal insisted it was not possible, had to be broken in the demo phase, or cannot be integrated into the new design. Pascual, however, accepted it right away, pointing out the risks of having some of them break in the process, but knowing we had some spare tiles assured us it was possible. Pascual also showed a willing to compromise during the contract phase regarding material and labor components so that we could implement exactly what we wanted. We were able to reason with him very easily and in a non-confrontational manner. As for the work itself - we found out he promised less and delivered more - a very rare experience, contrary to what you often find in this field. He managed the project as a conductor with his teams of artists - that is how he referred to his crews, which we found amusing but very descriptive of reality. He was present for 90% of the work, certainly for all unexpected issues that are always to be expected in such projects. His calm and confidence demeanor characterized the project and was very reassuring to us. The result is a fantastic sense of satisfaction to us - getting everything we wanted and more, in a most reasonable price in a very short time - way less than promised. As the many reviewers before us we are now looking forward to other significant home improvement projects knowing we have Pascual and company in our team - they truly do it as if it were their own home, and it shows!

We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend working with PLF. We hired PLF to finish a room in our basement. I had multiple photos showing various details that when combined would result in the gym we wanted to build. Pascual helped us talk through all the options and asked important questions to ensure he knew exactly what we wanted. He also helped us understand the permitting process and communicated with the inspector directly. Pascual and his team was always on time, friendly and courteous. The communication of updates and next steps was top notch and, by far, the best of all contractors I have hired. The team was respectful of our home and property and we will definitely hire PLF for future projects.

From start to finish, PLF was outstanding to work with. We hired them to finish a large area in our basement to be used as a recording studio. This project including the use of special "sound-proofing" materials to be installed, putting up double-drywall all around, as well as sound dampening insulation, etc. Pascual and his team were flexible with changes that we made during the build process and the finished product was wonderful. Communication was also very good throughout. I highly recommend PLF Design and Remodeling!

Pascual and his team are great to work with! I used them in past to complete a basement by adding a powder room, living area, laundry room and lots of storage. The result was great! Then after getting married, my husband and I used them to renovate a kitchen and bathroom, paint the full condo and add lighting. Again, great results and very happy! He has always been patient with orders and knows what’s he’s doing when it comes to taking care of his customers needs. I have been working with a number of contractors more than I can count and have noticed how he always puts his customers first and never even thought twice just to save a couple bucks which is very rare to see. I had the opportunity to work with Pascual fr a basement remodel. From the start of the project Pascual was communicative, helpful and responsive. He gave a very reasonable and transparent quote and helped me to walk through the project scope and details. The remodel project lasted about a week, and the attention to detail by Pascual and his team was incredible. The home bar, and home gym we built out turned out better than I had expected and extremely pleased with the results. We hired PLF Design & Remodeling to finish our basement, in our single-family home. Pascual and his team were incredible throughout the entire process -- They were thoughtful in communicating the work to be done, and provided us with a detailed schedule so we were aware of when everything would happen. On a related note, they kept us informed of what the upcoming day or week would look like, so we knew exactly what to expect. For example, if his team needed to turn the electricity off or the water off, they let us know in advance so we could plan around this. Pascual was upfront and transparent about any cost changes prior to any work starting; and they arrived on time every morning. One of the things that I appreciate the most was his team helping us with small odds and ends, such as moving or relocating heavy furniture and building cabinets for us, and not charging us (nickeling and diming) for these things. Pascual and his team are committed to doing quality work and ensuring their customer is happy, and I will be calling them again to do some additional work for us.

We initially hired PLF to build a custom Mudroom locker style cubby wall and then hired him again a year later to enlarge and replace interior and exterior doors, do a custom garage shelving system, frame wall paper panels and multiple other smaller tasks. He is very good at communicating and very knowledgeable. I am happy to have him to call for future projects

Master Bath Renovation Pasquale and his team did an amazing job on our master bathroom. Up front he gave us a thorough affordable estimate, answered all our questions and even met us at various stores to pick out shower tile, flooring and bathroom hardware. His team, Marvin, Alejandro and Carlos are very talented! The electric, plumbing, carpentry and tile work are quality work and done in a very timely manner. Pasquale kept us updated on when his team would arrive and what they would be doing each day. Pasquale also came by each day to either work on the project, check on progress or to see if we had any concerns. The PLF team is also very clean. They cleaned up each day and even repaired a shared wall that had a few nail pops due to the renovation. I would highly recommend PLF Design and Remodeling. We will be calling them for other projects!

We hired Pascual and team to complete several projects to include a coffered ceiling installation in the family room and a recessed tray ceiling installation in our kitchen. Both projects required extensive carpentry, drywall work, lighting, and painting, in addition to the utmost precision w/ planning and measurements to achieve a symmetrical aesthetic in an older house. I interviewed/reviewed multiple contractors to get an idea of pricing and timeline in addition to the quality of work provided. We were initially impressed with the reviews and quality of work seen in the PLF portfolio online so I decided to reach out. Now I have been around the home improvement/contracting world for quite some time and expect companies with a portfolio and presentation (website, professionalism, marketing material, experience, etc.) of the caliber of PLF to cost an arm-and-a-leg and therefore rarely if ever actually use one of these types of companies because of the cost differential. I always go with the cheaper contractors and opt to essentially endlessly manage them to get a near desired result, I assumed PLF would therefore be a no-go based on price but for whatever reason still decided to reach out. Well, I am glad that I did! Not only did PLF come in and quote the project competitively with the type of rates that my usual go-to type of contractors quote, but they were able to meet a strict and tight deadline that those other contractors couldn’t. It was very evident to me that Pascual’s team was more experienced with this type of work as they were estimating a third-of-the-time others were to complete the exact job. This was a no-brainer and we gave PLF the work. I am glad we did and that is an understatement! This was a much different experience from what I was used to as I didn’t have to endlessly manage them, I didn’t have to have them repeat work, I didn’t come down to find that they had randomly made an “executive decision” to a problem that changed the design or look in a way that almost always in the past had been the exact opposite of what we would have wanted. Now this doesn’t mean problems didn’t arise, there were several things such as pipes that couldn’t be re-routed, an off-center fireplace, un-level walls, etc. that did come up but I was made aware of them and given professional suggestions on work-arounds that not only made sense, they essentially worked out to keep the overall aesthetic the exact same or even better in the case of the kitchen work! PLF not only delivered a result that exceeded our expectations, they did so in a manner and for a price that I have yet to see in other contractors over the years in my area. We are so happy with their workmanship that we are actually getting quotes to enhance some of the older projects that we had hired others to do. We have finally found a contractor that we can depend on and hope to use for the many other projects on our to do list in our efforts to completely modernize our house.

Pascual and his team renovated our entire basement and upstairs bathroom, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The work took the expected time thanks to the knowledgeable team of workers. Thank you. PLF!

Just got done with our master bathroom renovation with PLF yesterday. If you've been or are contemplating over the idea of remodling whatever is in your home, do it with PLF, because you won't regret it. Pascual and his crews have been absolutely wonderful to work with. The quality of the work is definitely top notch and the whole process was really easy to follow, as Pascual made sure that we, as his clients, understood what to expect from everything that's going into the job, not to mention from each small little detail. As a result, I am 120% satisfied with how my master bathroom came out to be after the work's been completed. My wife and I both work from home and Pascual and his team were also very mindful of that, which we really appreciated. Obviously, on the demo day, the noise from the demolition job is inevitable. However, they were all very careful and respectful of our property and our work hours. Pascual will also 100% respect your decisions and try his best to fulfill them unless it is unfeasible physically/realistically. His ability to adapt to the unexpected was also amazing - there was an air duct that came up from the basement and up through one of the shower walls, which would have made our shower room look so awkward, but as soon as he noticed that, he laid out his professional opinion on how to move forward with that obstruction. We now have a perfectly rectagular shower space with flush walls covered in beatiful tiles, thanks to his flexibility and adaptiblity. What I also really loved about the process was that they made sure to clean up each day after they were done for the day. We never needed to worry even once about anything piling up from the job, not only in the construction area but also on the outside of it or even outside of the house. Perfectly cleaned up very well every single day. My wife and I are already excited about the kitchen renovation that we'd like to do in the future, and when we both agree that it's time to pull the trigger, I'm calling Pascual again for sure.

Plf did a bedroom painting, ceiling painting, trim installation and painting and relocation of the a return vent. Pascual was very professional, easy to work with and paid attention to details. He came on time to complete the project and was eager to make sure I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend this company.

We just had Pascual and his team create an exercise room, install LVP throughout the basement, and repaint the entire lower level. All this was accomplished on schedule and on budget. Plus, the craftmanship was exceptional as was the communication. Lastly, Pascaul is focused on making his clients happy and we were not disappointed.

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience working with PLF Design & Remodeling. We had them finish our basement, and honestly, I cannot wait until our next project with them. Pascual and his team are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They do excellent work and are very detail-oriented - they pay close attention to the little things. You can tell they truly care about your needs and want to craft the perfect space for you. Pascual is very proactive - he does a great job relaying project status and gives plenty of lead time for when you need to make a decision (fixtures, flooring, paint, etc). He also does an excellent job providing design input, and he's able to accommodate change orders quickly. We worked with another company recently on a bathroom remodel, and I'm disappointed I didn't know Pascual before signing up with them. The difference between the crews is night and day. PLF was so much more attentive and compassionate, and also way less expensive. I would recommend PLF for any home remodeling project - they're the absolute best, and I look forward to working with them again soon!

PLF Design did a great job redesigning and remodeling our basement. The 3D renderings were really helpful in planning the project. Pascual and his crew were prompt, responsive, and patient with our tweaks to the design mid-work. The work was completed on time, looks great, and was a good value.

We hired Pascual and his team at PLF Design & Remodeling to remove existing cabinets and countertops in our kitchen. They also reconfigured the electrical work in order to move the location of our refrigerator as well as moving the plumbing for the sink and dishwasher. Once the new cabinets and countertop were installed (by IKEA) they re-installed the stove, over the stove microwave, dishwasher, faucet and garbage disposal. For the final step they repainted the walls and ceiling. I could not be happier with the quality of work and professionalism. They arrived on time on the scheduled day and left the work area clean at the end of the day. Pascual was on site to ensure everything was being done as agreed upon. He was always happy to answer any questions and make suggestions to ensure the overall success of the project. The price was reasonable with no hidden surprise fees in the end. We will certainly hire PLF again for any of our construction/remodeling needs.

I have had PLF work on a variety of projects. They did the kitchen in my tenant's house as well as the entire floors of the house where I am currently living. Pascual and Andrea are a joy to work with. They are very hard working, detail oriented, and are always available for any questions. They have a great work ethic and are also just very pleasant people. I have always been impressed that they leave the worksite better than they found it. Even during the jobs that they are doing they make sure that the area is clean and in order. I have never had any problems with the work that they do in fact quite the opposite. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough!
