We hired RemodelWerks for a whole house remodel, which included gut renovation, an addition, transition from oil to gas, redoing the electric, changing the roofline, redesigning the internal layout, and essentially renovating every inch of the house. The team is a unique group of amazing people. Joe, Mike, Joel, Andy and everyone else are all honest, hardworking, and incredibly skilled professionals who truly care about their clients and projects. They handled everything from the design through the long and complicated permitting process, through the build and all the way to the finishing touches and beyond, remaining available and reliable even after we have moved in. Remodelwerks was a joy to work with. They were very reliable - showing up as promised and finishing when promised. We totally remodeled our kitchen and dining room and both rooms were transformed. They were very collaborative during the design process which truly makes it my kitchen. Our dining room is now bright and elegant. The kitchen has loads more counter space and is also so much brighter without knocking down walls. I would definitely recommend them.

I have used RemodelWerks for no less than 10 projects at my property. From total gut renovations of a bathroom (that won a design award because of their amazing work!) to fixing a roof and remodeling a kitchen, this company is the BEST of the BEST. I will only use them for my home which is historic and built in 1822.

We can't say enough about this company! We hired them for a remodel project that included a closet/laundry area, two bathrooms, a stairway, flooring and multiple door/hardware replacements. From design to execution their process and work was exemplary! The design piece was not only thorough but also a creative exchange of great ideas that resulted in a finished product that totally represented our vision and style. We are currently using them again to rebuild a basement room that has undergone mold remediation. Their expertise in this area is critical to the creation of a well-ventilated, safe space. My husband and I contacted Remodelwerks for an in-law addition. We met with Joe and his team who helped us to design a space to meet our needs. Through the design process, we met with Joe, Mike and other members of his team, who made changes and suggestions to the plans to achieve just what we were looking for. From the start Joe was very clear and detailed about the costs associated with the design process and after seeing all the time and effort put into that process, seeking town approvals and making design changes, it was well worth the money we spent to achieve exactly what we wanted and met town approval. I would highly recommend Remodelwerks for any design and remodel project.

Terrible experience. Almost textbook bait and switch, rude as well. We needed our basement remodeled. Joe was one of several contractors we asked to provide an estimate. After visiting the basement, taking measurements, asking questions etc., Joe gave an initial estimate of $135-145K. Not cheap but seemed reasonable. The catch? Joe requires you to pay $9K up front, for the "Design Phase". Should have walked away at that stage...but when we explicitly asked what happens if the quote suddenly gets jacked up a lot, Joe promises this never happens, since they are very experienced, unless customers ask for very specific/expensive selections or added features. Fast forward 6 weeks later: Joe serves us a new estimate, which is a whopping 186K + extra 13.5K for some extras. This is not a typo, $46K or 33% above midpoint of initial estimate. We try to work with Joe but bringing down cost within budget appears to be impossible...other than making DRASTIC cuts (removing bathroom, kitchen etc). Which would be a different project altogether. Adding insult to injury, we ask Joe to refund us the whole or partial amount of the 9K due to a very poor initial estimate....which he refuses. Joe's logic is that they spent all that money in the two design meetings leading to 3d renderings, and by having plumber and electrician visit for the detailed estimate. Left 9K poorer, several months later after multiple back and forth, with basement drawings we CANNOT USE, and to top it all rude comments from RemodelWerks. Stay away and save yourself money, time and headaches. Unless you are just looking for design services and 3D drawings, perhaps.

We used Remodelwerks for an extensive addition to our home, where we added a great room and a media room. They were extremely professional, thorough, and attentive throughout the entire design and build process, and their project managers kept things on schedule, even with supply chain challenges due to Covid. Whenever issues arose (as they inevitably do during any large-scale renovation), Joe and his team resolved them quickly and in a satisfactory manner. I would highly recommend them for any home improvement project large or small, especially if your goal is to minimize the headaches of a home renovation.

Simply the best, you will not find better than RemodelWerks for quality, professionalism and customer service. After being burnt by a dishonest contractor we went to Joe and his team in a really difficult situation. Joe and his team took on our job and did a complete refurbishment of our house. The project manager Joel is excellent. Great communication, great work ethic and extremely professional. All of the subcontractors were also of the highest quality and did timely, high quality work. I would not hesitate to recommend the RemodelWerks team for any project large or small.

RemodelWerks/Emily's Interior did a complete small bathroom remodel for us locally. Overall very happy with the process and results. Friendly, professional, reliable, transparent, and responsive. The originally projected budget was slightly exceeded ($950) due to unforeseen additional requirements for plumbing. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Remodelwerks built an addition (office/guest room, expanded mudroom) and bluestone patio /backstairs and renovated the entire first floor (kitchen, half bath to full bath, expansion of living room) for our 100 year old home. Due to the age and layout of our home, the work was complicated (steel beam across living room ceiling, concrete slab under sunroom crawl space, replacement of termite damaged wood beams), and Remodelwerks completed all of the work perfectly. The workmanship and attention to detail were excellent. Joe and his team were a pleasure to work with, particularly Andy G. (the project lead who handled the many surprises fairly and reasonably and responded to every issue and communication within a day) and Andy H. (the lead carpenter who was extremely talented and made sure every last item on the punch list was completed properly). We highly recommend Remodelwerks for the high quality of their work and their skill and professionalism, and we hope to work with them again on our next renovation.

We connected with Remodelwerks through GMT Home Designs Inc. Joe, Andy, Mike and the Team followed the design of our added family room with gas fireplace, two car garage and master bedroom suite exactly as designed. Every professional who worked on this project did an amazing job. They listened to our requests and followed through with every detail. We cannot say enough about the craftsmanship and talent of everyone on this team. We highly recommend them and would work with them again on possible future projects.

We had the priviledge to work with Joe, and his team at RemodelWerks back in the Fall of 2018. The project was a sizeable addition (family room and mudroom) along with a kitchen remodel. Working with Joe (and the team) from the beginning was a pleasure. He guided us through the design and production process with ease. Everything was done with professionalism and with our interests in mind. Joe's team, Andy, Mark, Mike and Sam were all great folks to work with. It made the 6 month long project that much more bearable being along side such great people. Of course there were a few bumps along the way. But Joe and Andy made sure things were resolved professionally and timely. The workmanship and talent exceeded our expectations. The project came out fantastic. Were are extremely pleased and would certainly use RemodelWerks again for future work. These guys know what they are doing and hold themselves to a high standard.

Two baths were completely remodeled, one immediately following the other. RemodelWerks demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout the project and ensured that the finished product met the highest quality standards. Communications was always timely and comprehensive. Sub-contractors were closely monitored and the lead RemodelWerks carpenter's skill level significantly contributed to overall project success. The RemodelWerks designer offered insightful recommendations as well. The project took a bit longer to complete than originally anticipated; however, RemodelWerks applied remedial action to all issues. RemodelWerks is likely to be our professional of choice for any future home projects.

We hired RemodelWerks to finish our basement and for a few home improvement jobs. They were excellent and professional from the start. I appreciated the whole team (Joe, Andy, Mike, Tim and Sam). Andy often went the extra mile for me as this project progressed. He communicated with kindness and professionalism every time I reached out during their time with us. We now have an extra floor with an area for exercise equipment, an extra living area, much needed closet space and well crafted shelving. Joe, Andrew and the entire RemodelWerk's team were very organized and professional. Change orders were accommodated throughout the project with both sides taking on some of the financial implications. The time line of the project extended a little longer than expected but sometimes inspector's schedules are hard to control. Very satisfied with the finished product, Industrial restroom remodeling. Communicating with the group was never an issue, always seemed to be available to address questions or concerns.

We hired RemodelWerks to finish our unfinished basement. We selected them based on their reviews on Houzz and meetings with their President, Joe. Joe and his team - principally Mike - worked with us to design the space and were particularly diligent in helping us design a very awesome bar, together with a family room, full bath and a large open play area for our children. RemodelWerks was able to provide every element we wanted to include, from the custom designed bar, to fully wired audio/visual installation and set up, and reengineering of support structures to make the space more open and useful. Joe was very open about costs from inception though various add-ons as the project progressed. RemodelWerks also made every effort to ensure we were satisfied with every detail and Joe and Mike were very responsive to every concern we had throughout the project and solved each one of those concerns to or in excess of our expectations. The workmanship on every aspect of the project was first rate and Mark in particular was great. We would recommend them to anyone.

We found Joe and the entire RemodelWerks team to be consummate professionals when we engaged them to demo and remodel two bathrooms from the studs out. We had been in contact with Joe for over 3 years before we ultimately decided to go with RemodelWerks. In all honestly, we were skeptical at first at the "sales pitch," but the design-to-build process that RemodelWerks touts really does work and their process is the best we've encountered. I can't even begin to describe how pleased we were with the team from beginning to end! The communication was outstanding, way beyond any other contractor we've worked with - they always kept us apprise of what was happening when. We had a close-to-full first floor remodel, which included a complete gut and relocation of both the kitchen and bathroom. The team was outstanding and always made sure that they had a RemodelWerks rep meet any new subcontractor at the house before the sub started their work. From the design, to the demo, to the carpentry - everything and everyone was so professional. We could't be more pleased!

Couldn't have been happier with our exterior renovations by Joe and the team at RemodelWerks LLC. Our 1940's Colonial has new fiber cement siding, new windows and doors plus the garage upgraded as well. Joe was professional and took the time to answer my questions and address all concerns. RemodelWerks did an outstanding job remodeling our kitchen and reconfiguring our downstairs laundry area/living room. The design process was very creative and informative. They had great ideas! I used RemodelWerks to renovate my master bathroom. They exceeded my expectations in both the quality of their work and their level of professionalism. They kept in constant contact. I knew exactly what was being done and who was going to be at my house every day. It was a great experience from start to finish. I would certainly use them again. The owner Joe, helped me with the plans, and had wonderful advice about how to adjust my design to get the most for my money without cutting corners. Our project presented many challenges: physical logistics due to living in the home during construction, local government restrictions, record snow fall and working around our 2 very large greyhounds. The Remodelwerks team handled all the difficulties with a professional attitude. From the start, Joe was diligent during the 4-5 weeks in the design and planning phase, detailing all costs and options prior to any demo. We knew exactly what the costs were going to be with very few surprises. After having contracted other comapnies for home renovations in the past, this was a unique and welcomed approach. Large projects like ours require the right type of synergy to achieve the vision for our home. After interviewing over 10 general contractors for this project, we choose Remodelwerks because we believed we would have an open dialog and the ability to evolve the design as we moved thru the project. Working with Joe and his lead carpenter Mark, we fine tuned the details that made a difference in the overall look and design. The project took longer then expected but it was worth the extra time.

For a second time in two years Remodel Werks repaired winter ice and water damage on our house. This time they replaced some walls and ceiling. They also diagnosed a roof line problem which they solved for us. Their work was well done and we would be pleased to recommend Remodel Werks. Our project took longer than we had hoped, but that was due to delays from our town building department which handles lake-front property with greater regulations. Remodel Werks has our highest respect and recommendation.

We recently had RemodelWerks do a complete roof replacement after some serious leaks last winter. We decided to go with them after consulting multiple roofers, since they proposed the most comprehensive strategy to ensure a long term fix to the leaking problem. Ice & water shield is typically placed six feet from the gutters, however Joe at RemodelWerks proposed to cover the entire roof and also remove the siding of the adjoining house to place ice & water shield up under the siding. Obviously this is more expensive, however we have confidence in this as a solution. For the work itself, the project manager came to discuss the job in advance, and he was then our point of contact. Once the work started, we received an email update each day to update us on the progress etc. We found these simple steps very professional and reassuring. All the work was completed as predicted within a 3-4 day time frame. This is our first contract with RemodelWerks and we definitely plan to use them in the future. I would recommend them highly, as they were to me.

I found RemodelWerks on Houzz looking to renovate my kitchen. The company is very responsive to questions and attentive to your needs. Every worker was polite, diligent and especially professional. It was a great decision to hire this company for me and my kitchen has been getting so many compliments. I am very pleased with the staff and the results of my project.

As always, Joe sat with us at the beginning of each project and ran through the plan, design, budget, etc. We did the roof at the beginning of the year, in between all the crazy snow storms. Came out great, and as Joe noted, was a little cheaper done in the Winter. This Fall we did the powder room and basement. We were able to open up the bathroom just a little bit so it looked less crowded. Joe wasn't sure about going with wallpaper, but found a great subcontractor to get it done and done well. Finally, we tackled the basement. Mike did a great job as project manager and with carpenter Mark leading the way with his great attention to detail, the finished product is extraordinary as always. And all projects met our deadlines... bathroom before Halloween and basement before Christmas. Thanks again, Joe and team!

We employed Joe and his team to perform a major renovation to our master bathroom. From the very start, we found Joe to be thorough, friendly, on time and a great communicator. He was full of good advice at every step. He and his team were respectful of our house (always putting down drop cloths on the stairs and hallway) and had great attention to detail. Our only issue with the project was the amount of time from start to finish, but most of the delay had to do with timing of inspections and specialists. I would definitely use Joe again for any project.

Excellent set of guys. I have used them for the past 7 years. Have always been satisfied by their work. Few things to note: 1. Prices are reasonable and most of the time competitive. 2. They work with you in reasonable ways. 3. They even fixed some stuff way beyond the warranty period & sometimes not in the menu.

We scoped a partial basement remodel with Joe and his team. They did an excellent job with the framing, and insulation, and fireproofing. Always on time, and professional and on budget.....and that is hard to find these days.

Joe, thanks again for a wonderful job done! I've had Joe work on my kitchen a few years back so I know how great his work is. RemodelWerks replaced two doors with encasements for me this past November & January. November: A three pane sliding door to go onto my patio. I had some rot under it and needed to have it replaced before there was further damage. I also wanted something that would be more energy saving. I left for work in the morning and the door and windows were perfectly placed when I came home. The door/window encasement was just as I requested. All was cleaned, the rot was gone and the door worked perfectly. I now leave the curtains and blinds open since I don't need to worry about energy leaking out. January: The front door also had a bit of rot starting (drafty). It had an encasement with it that included a window. The whole encasement had to be replaced. Again, I left for work and came home to a door that was no longer drafty; no more worries about the rot. While he was there, he also put in a storm door that I purchased; a kitchen light and a new doorbell. I went with RemodelWerks for several reasons. 1.) Because Joe stands by his work. That is very important to me. 2.) I also knew I could trust Joe and his men to be in my home when I'm not there.. Saves me from taking time off work... 3.) I got what I paid for and more....they make sure the grout, paint etc. is fixed around the area. . The place is clean. They go the extra step. I'm now saving to get all the windows done... We hired Remodel Werks to finish our fairly large basement. We added a large gameroom/entertainment room with a wet bar, playroom, exercise room and full bath. Joe and his crew were incredible. Joe is very knowledgeable, and he was helpful and fair throughout the process. Above all, he was accessible and responsive. Our basement looks absolutely amazing. Everyone who has seen it has been blown away. Overall the Remodel Werks team exceeded our expectations with respect to quality and experience. Thank you Joe! Mr. Kupstas was easy to work with that's why I chose his company for this project. It was a large structural job of replacing 3 stories of porches on a rental. They weren't the low bid but he could really visualize what I wanted. We will be using Remodeling Werks on our next project, I'll let you know if there's a problem...

They did a good job with finishing the bath, including tiling and part of plumbing. They went beyond expected timelines, however the job was well done. I re-hired the team to do another small job in the basement. Joe was very courteous and professional.

I did not hire this person due to financial restraints. BUT...I must say he was the most courteous man on the phone and responded in a very timely manner. If I had the money to do a whole kitchen redo I would have hired him.

During a remodeling project our roof was found to be severely leaking in a hidden part of our home. RemodelWerks was fantastic at assessing the problem and quickly and professionally repaired it. Special features needed were addressed and the speediness with which the project was done was greatly appreciated, especially with the unseasonably rainy spring we have had this year. Athough we did not anticipate the added expense of such a large repair, RemokdelWerks worked with our budget and time constraints. We were grateful to have the correction made and have great confidence in the job that was done!

RemodelWerks was hired to renovate a master bathroom. The project was complex and we needed someone who could address myriad issues. Joe has done an excellent job of assessing and coordinating both physical and esthetic needs. His flexibility and knowledge about how to incorporate different features we wanted has been terrific. We are comfortable recommending RemodelWerks to anyone considering a remodeling project!

RemodelWerks stands by their craftsmanship and their warranty. Tile in bathroom cracked possibly from settling. Extra tile went missing and attempt to repair tile did not work. Joe agreed to pull up entire tile job and replace with similar tile. I do not know of many companies willing to stand by their work and as usual was impressed by RemodelWerks. Why should you go with anyone else? Timely, reasonable rates, great craftsmanship, courteous, clean, and backed by a warranty. Choose them for any size project and you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend Remodelwerks. They turned our basement into a dreamy family hangout and party room. For the last several years, our basement has been serving as both a spider refuge and a trash receptacle. But I had big plans and dreams for the space. When we were finally able to tackle the basement, no amount of remeasuring and redrawing would fit all of the ideas I had. In desperation, I called Remodelwerks- and I told them all of my plans. They did not laugh. Instead they found a way to fit a little of everything that I wanted. We now have beautiful angles, a neat coffered ceiling. perfect trim, wonderful closets, my dream walk-in pantry, an extra storage room, a gorgeous zen bathroom, a zen hallway, and a ping pong and party room. At the same time they hid all of the duct work, supports and appliances that the builder had lazily (or for cost-saving measures) scattered around the open basement. And Remodelwerks did all of this without my having to complain to them about anything. Any problems we had along the way were addressed immediately and fixed. The design is better than I ever could have hoped, and the workmanship is topnotch. I think our basement actually looks better than the rest of the house now- in fact, it doesn’t even look like a basement.

RW did not originally remodel my South End bathroom, but there were a few minor details that had been overlooked and were starting to show. The fix was going to be putting river rock tile and subway tile around the base of a corner in my shower (not the easiest place to get to). I needed someone who could perform the work on my schedule and make it look as if the repair had not been done to fix something, but rather that it belonged there from the beginning. The work was done on time by very professional staff. He was familiar with the type of tile and by the time he was done (an hour faster than I was quoted) it blended in perfectly. I highly recommend RW. Honest people, trained craftsmen, and excellent customer service!

When other contractors found our 90 year old unfinished basement too overwhelming to tackle, RemodelWerks took on the project with enthusiasm. We now have a beautiful space with enough room for everyone to enjoy. It doesn't even look like a basement anymore. I would highly recommend RemodelWerks for any home project you want done meticulously.

Great work ethic, meticulous to detail and enjoyable to work with. Together, Joseph and I designed a beautiful wall cabinet and then it was professionally installed by RemodelWerks's fantastic carpenters. We're getting RW back in to design another cabinet for the study.
