Founded in 2000 by Vincent Abell, a carpenter by trade with over three decades of experience in commercial and residential construction. Vincent Abell Contracting has excelled in the last 16 years through a strict commitment to outstanding design, craftsmanship, and customer service. Vincent Abell continues to serve as senior superintendent on a daily basis. To assist with each project, Vincent has a talented production team including supervisors, specialty contractors and skilled craftsman, e.g., plumbers, electricians, tile installers, trim carpenters, drywall finishers, painters, and more.

Vincent Abell Contracting are great people and do fantastic work. You can always count on these guys to do honest quality work and always go above and beyond. I would recommend them to anyone. You get what you pay for. If others are cheaper there is a reason, typically because others do not understand the scope.

Classic Finishes

We were recently paired up with Vincent Abell Contraction through a mutual business colleague, Meredith Gregory of Carriage House Interiors. Vincent Abell held the contract for the remodel, but we were the desired painting company to complete all the painting. Due to our company history, we know its always a risk to work with someone you haven't already previously, but their entire team proved to be an awesome example of professionalism. Everyone down to their laborers exuded kindness and respect to me and our team. Instantly there were open lines of communication and team work to complete project on time and with the necessary quality. We look forward to working under their leadership in the future and recommend them as a real deal contractor in Louisville.

Vincent Abell Contracting knocked down a wall to expose a staircase and put in a craftsman style banister. They also did electrical work, painting, put in a wall, french doors, and built-in shelves upstairs and a built-in cabinet in a bathroom. The work was of high quality, and the project manager stayed in close communication while overseeing the many different parts of the project. All of the workers were very skilled, incredibly professional, and just plain nice.

We had Vincent Abell Contracting finish an walk-in attic space into an office/library. The work they did was fantastic. Gorgeous hardwood floors, custom built-in bookshelves, a skylight, and a walk-in closet. We also had them arrange spray-foam insulation, keep some exposed brick and create an access panel for additional storage space. The work went on a bit longer than we anticipated, but that was partly because we added on some extras like the skylight and bookshelves. The crew that worked on the project was friendly and hard-working. Vincent personally was kind enough to look at a problem we had with a gutter on the outside of the house for no extra charge!! We would consider hiring them again.

Brad and my project manager Terry were very helpful and their team did great work. I had s fairly large project finishing the upstairs and adding a bathroom and bedroom. They were professional and clean and always kept me in the loop with things. I would definitely use them again on future projects

Hired this company to enclose basement steps that were in the garage and add a hallway . Wall was built with door added to make a small mudroom. Had lighting, heat/air vent, flooring, carpet, and new paint added. Very professional work. Nice people to work with. I would call them back if I decided to have any additional remodeling done.

Vincent Abell Contracting completed a remodel for us. It included a master suite with bathroom, sun room, laundry, deck, garage and driveway. We are very satisfied with the work and love the house even more.

These guys know what they are doing. We had them install a new FSI Lock Dry deck. This required that they first demolish the old brick deck. We were happy to see they practice green business and recycled all the brick. The install on the new deck went quickly and they provided us with the specifics of how the install would be done. All of our questions were addressed/answered on the spot. We'd definitely hire them again.
